Chapter 20: Entering wano

An old, decrepit woman shuffled into the hall, her wild, water-green hair cascading around her gaunt face, marked by missing teeth and a pronounced cleft chin. Her appearance was as sinister as her cackling laughter, echoing ominously through the room.

"Ni kyo kyo kyo, long time no see, Kaido," she sneered, her voice carrying an unsettling air of confidence. "I have an offer that will surely interest you."

Kaido leaned back in his chair, feigning surprise at the sight of Kurozumi Higurashi, though he already knew exactly who she was and the role she would play in his future dealings. Maintaining his act, he narrowed his eyes and let out a low growl, "You old hag, what are you doing here? Seeing your face makes me want to kill you. So, unless you have something worth my time, you're dead."

Higurashi's grin faltered for a moment, a flicker of fear crossing her face. She gestured for one of her men to step forward, presenting a bottle to Kaido. "Ni kyo kyo kyo, Kaido, don't be so harsh, After all we were crewmate once " she pleaded. "I've been keeping track of your movements- you're all over the newspapers now. Your fame is only growing, and with that, your crew will need more resources -lots of them. Weapons, men, and a base for your operations."

Kaido already know what is talking about, though he didn't show it. Higurashi continued, "Come with me to Wano. Help my nephew rise to power, and in return, we'll provide you with a weapons factory, manpower, with mining the sea stone mine we will become rich. You'll also have the perfect island to use as your base. Wano is an isolated country, the perfect stronghold for a pirate of your stature."

Kaido tapped his fingers on the armrest, pretending to mull it over. "Hmm... Wano, huh?" His voice was a low rumble. " What makes you think I care about you and your nephew? What's in it for me to help you can't I just make that island under my banner anyways , what's your need then"

Higurashi's smile widened, sensing she had his attention. "Wano's sea stone and resources are unparalleled. But it isolated warrior nation it will not bow to anyone. I am sure you heard of Legendary Samurai,Sword God Shimotsuki Ryuma, He didn't bow even infront of World government. Even our former captain didn't make that nation bow he can only get protection frees from them. But with my nephew, who I with my devil fruit and your power can easily rule Wano and you don't have to worry about coup"

Kaido grinned wickedly, though inside, he knew this was just the beginning of his grand plan. "Alright, old hag. You've got my attention... but betray me, and I'll turn Wano into ashes myself."

*On the way to Wano*

As Kaido's ship followed Kurozumi Higurashi's vessel toward Wano, Kaido, King, and Queen sat around a large wooden table in the conference hall of Kaido's ship, the dim light casting long shadows around them. King, with his usual calm and direct demeanor, broke the silence.

"Captain, why did you agree to deal with that woman? We could easily capture Wano if you wanted. There's no need for her to exist."

Kaido leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms and letting out his signature laugh, "Wororororo King, you're really naive." His grin widened as he tapped his fingers on the table. "When did I say we're going to help her? No, it's the other way around. She's going to help us."

Queen raised an eyebrow, curiosity piqued. "What do you mean, Captain?"

" You will know it when time comes"

As the ship navigated through the treacherous waters, Kaido and his crew finally arrived at Wano after several days. Upon reaching their destination, they saw large waterfall but kaido used flame cloud to lift the ship and entered wano,Kurozumi Higurashi led them to Onigashima and presented it as an advance payment.

"You don't have to wait long, Kaido," Higurashi said with a sinister smile. "I'm going to poison Sukiyaki, the shogun. After that, we can start building the weapon factory without delay."

After Higurashi left, Kaido addressed his crew, "Let's explore this island. It will be our home for quite some time." He led them towards the massive skull-shaped building, admiring the enormous sword that stood beside it.

Onigashima, roughly 80 square kilometers with rugged terrain, was now their domain. Inside one of the rooms in the skull building, Kaido turned to King.

Kaido addressed King with a commanding tone, "King, your task is to gather all information about Kurozumi Higurashi and that Orochi guy. It doesn't matter if you can't identify all her subordinates, but you must uncover details about their base and assets—gold, weapons."

He continued, "Also, start exploring Wano for ancient books and artifacts. Anything that contains valuable knowledge must be documented. Since Wano is an isolated country, the people here are ignorant of Devil Fruits. Watch out for areas where fruits grow. You might find something worth eating yourself or something you can sell to the crew for more than market value. However, if I find out you're selling it secretly, you'll regret it. but you can save it for your family, It just you're not allowed to sell it anywhere else." After hearing their order every one cheer and got to there work.

Seeing their enthusiasm kaido reminded "Dont get caught this is after all closed nation."
