Execution

Two days have passed since the bandit attack and you will see two kids running around the village. Yes, these are Alex and Franco who are currently training when Vincent calls out to them. "OY! ALEX! FRANCO! We have to go now so we could arrive before the execution."

Alex and Franco finished their last lap and went with Vincent to freshen up and go to the port in order for them to go to Loguetown to witness the Pirate King's execution.

After freshening up, Alex and Franco brought 2 weeks' worth of supplies since they were going to be away for a while and would be training on the ship.

They went on the ship and they would be travelling towards Loguetown on his father's ship that he got when the Roger Pirates disbanded after they reached the final island, Laugh Tale. It was a small ship with a small sail and the ship could carry up to 8 people. The people who are going to Loguetown are the Great and Hill families. After packing up and putting everything in the ship, they started their journey towards Loguetown.

After 5 days of travelling, they finally reached Loguetown and they were excited to see a new town other than their village. While travelling, both of them did not slack on their training and did the sets every day and after training they would do the medicinal bath in order for their bodies to be refreshed after a day's worth of training and workout.

When they reached the port, they quickly went off the boat to explore the town as the execution will start in a few hours. They went to try new food, play new games, and meet new people. They also went inside many shops to buy new things such as clothes and everyday stuff. Alex also bought a straw hat since his idol, Gol D. Roger, also wore a straw hat when he started sailing.

After exploring the whole of Loguetown, they heard from the people around them that the execution will start in a few minutes and the Pirate King Gol D. Roger will walk towards the execution platform.

Alex had conflicting emotions since he would see his idol for the first and last time because he would be executed today. He was just as excited as he is sad because who would want to see their idol get killed in front of their eyes.

After a few minutes the people on the road started to part as Pirate King Gol D. Roger was walking towards the execution platform. Alex seeing this, called out to him, and said, "PIRATE KING YOU'RE MY IDOL!"

Roger hearing this stopped walking and looked at the six-year-old boy who was wearing a straw hat and said with his signature smile "Nice hat kid." then started walking again.

Alex hearing what the Pirate King told him was very happy that he got to talk to the Pirate King even if it was just a few words that were exchanged, he would talk about this encounter every day and would never forget about this.

Roger who finally reached the top of the execution platform, was looking at the people who were present at his execution suddenly heard someone shout "PIRATE KING! WHAT ABOUT YOUR TREASURE!"

Roger, who heard this, laughed out loud and said "My treasure is yours for the taking, but you'll have to find it first. I left everything... at that place."

After Roger said that he was executed by the Marines. Vincent let out a tear, while Alex, although had tears in his eyes, was not sad but was happy. He was happy because Roger might have died, but for him his adventure was still starting and he would owe it up to Roger, the Former Pirate King.

Alex stared and told his pops "Pops, I am going to become the Pirate King."

Vincent heard his son and smiled as he said, "I know you will son."

After the execution, they all went home and Alex with his newfound motivation, will train with his father in order to achieve his dream of being the Pirate King.

Alex thought in his head while clenching his fists 'The Pirate King's adventure might have just ended but my own adventure is just getting started.'
