Ethan was moved. Princess Otohime truly loved Shirahoshi, but unfortunately, she was assassinated by Hody Jones.
He raised his hand to take the item from Neptune, discovering it was a jade box. Opening it, he found a pair of shell earrings in light gold and pink, resembling the light yellow shell earrings that Shirahoshi usually wore.
"Don't worry; I'll put these earrings on Shirahoshi myself. While you couldn't protect her past, her future will be safeguarded by more family members!"
After saying this, he exchanged a glance with Xia Li and left the hall.
Only the sentimental Neptune was left, silent for a long time.
…
Holding Xia Li in his arms while flying, Ethan asked:
"You probably don't know anyone on Fishman Street, right?"
Xia Li shook her head decisively, "Of course not. I only lived there briefly when I was young, and back then, the environment was much better."
"That's fine; then I'll just start the cleanup directly."
"Hmm~"
Ethan was swift, and in no time, he had returned Xia Li to his private manor. Using his wide-range Observation Haki and his sense for fishman locations, he could easily track down the targets on Fishman Street.
In a flash of lightning, he was hovering over Fishman Street.
He vaguely recalled some members of the New Fishman Pirates: Hody Jones, the purple-striped fishman Geo with invisibility powers, and the drunken octopus Dosun who clashed with Zoro. There also seemed to be a dwarf among them.
His Observation Haki swept across the run-down Fishman Street, easily detecting those around.
Found him!
Drinking on the roadside? What a lucky guy! Octopus Dosun!
"God's Judgment!"
Fishman Island's blue sky was rarely interrupted by clouds. The moment Ethan's "God's Judgment" descended, it wasn't hidden by any cover, blazing straight down in a hot blue lightning strike.
Dosun, lost in a drunken haze, didn't even sense the attack. The powerful blast left a massive crater in Fishman Street.
Watching the scene, Ethan thought to himself: Fishman Island's land feels even more valuable than Skypiea. Though he had weakened the "God's Judgment," a large portion of land was still melted.
It would be a shame to destroy such a beautiful place.
The impact sound soon followed, shaking all of Fishman Street.
"Is that… thunder?"
"This is Fishman Island, 10,000 meters below sea level! How could there be thunder?"
Some fishmen familiar with surface storms recognized Ethan's attack, astonished.
The powerful noise drew out more fishmen, making it easier for Ethan to identify his next targets.
Spotting a fishman who seemed stronger than the rest, he descended.
"Fishman, tell me, where is Hody Jones? I'll spare your life."
Ethan's commanding aura made the trembling fishman stammer:
"I... I don't know. Um, actually, yes! Hody Jones is in the largest house on the northern side of Fishman Street. It's easy to find."
Ethan nodded. His mind-reading skills made deception impossible, so he flashed to the north in an instant.
Indeed, there stood a distinct large building, though not exactly "luxurious."
"30 Million Volts: Thunderbird!"
A fierce thunderbird appeared, spreading its wings. The imposing sight left the patrolling fishmen speechless with fear.
Bang!
The Thunderbird crashed into the upper floors, breaking down defenses and leaving a gaping hole.
In the aftermath, faint coughing and grumbling could be heard from within.
"What's happening? Who would dare attack us here?"
"Boss Hody, are you okay?"
"I'm not dead... but, oh..."
The burnt smell of charred fish began spreading, and Ethan raised his foot, electrocuting Hody Jones without hesitation.
"Hody Jones? Heh~"
This weakling couldn't even use Haki and relied on drugs to boost his strength, yet Luffy hadn't finished him off right away. Ethan wasn't here for theatrics, so he quickly incapacitated Hody Jones, sending him straight to meet his idol, Arlong.
"Who are you? What have you done to Boss Hody?" a shark fishman asked in terror, backing away. He seemed to be of the same species as Hody.
With fishmen, the species of offspring could vary greatly from their parents, often echoing ancestral genes. It was mere chance that he shared Hody's race, explaining why he had chosen to follow him.
"20 Million Volts: Electric Eye!"
Ethan focused on the shark fishman, his intense gaze igniting him into ashes in moments.
"Doss, kill him!" came a muffled voice from underground. Ethan's Observation Haki detected an invisible fishman hidden there, now fidgeting with alarm after witnessing Hody Jones' defeat.
So it's him…
Geo, the self-important fishman who was often trampled by others.
At his order, Doss charged at Ethan, shouting, "Doss!" making Ethan's mouth twitch in bemusement.
Were these fishmen really the "elite" of the New Fishman Pirates?
Releasing his restraints, Ethan let his Observation Haki guide a torrent of lightning, electrocuting all fishmen in the area.
"Ahhh!"
"Please, human, I was forced into this!"
"Ah~ So exhilarating!"
Amidst screams and pleas, the fishmen fell one after another under Ethan's merciless electric storm.
Oddly, a few electric eel fishmen seemed to enjoy the lightning attack, their energy increasing with each shock as they cheered in satisfaction.
Ultimately, numbers meant nothing against him. In this world of strength, only the truly powerful could survive at the top.
