What Gives
Hong Gi was asleep in his room when Luke returned. Steph had hardly spoken to him since returning home. She said she had a headache, but he suspected it had more to do with Luke and how the previous evening had ended. He had a lot to make up for, but first, he needed to see Luke off.
That Luke was leaving willingly and without threats toward Steph still had him nervous. Luke didn't give up that easily, which meant he was changing tactics again. Hopefully, whatever Luke had planned would wait until Hong Gi could repair the damage he'd caused to his relationship with Steph. Hong Gi would never have undressed her if he'd had even an inkling that Luke would join them in their room. To Luke's credit, though, he had a good reason for showing up. His brother was sick most of the night and not just from the drinking. He'd run a fever and suffered from chills as well. At least once during the night, Hong Gi had considered taking the man to the emergency room.
