Betty to the Rescue
Betty brought Steph chocolate milk and a honey-buttered croissant, the same as she always had for breakfast since Steph was old enough to chew. "So my Luke is causing problems again, is he? Why didn't you bring him with you? I could have a nice long talk with him."
"He was supposed to be shooting a movie in California. Instead, he's made torturing me and bullying Hong Gi his special project." Steph bit into the warm croissant and moaned in pleasure. Betty was the absolute best at baking croissants.
"Well, honey, Luke isn't good with change. He's one of those guys who likes what he likes and will never change unless forced. You are forcing him out of his comfort zone with Hong Gi. Look at it from his perspective. If you are in the picture, where does that leave him? He becomes the outsider."
