"What the hell?!" Sokka screamed, backing away in fear and the animal ran away, "Why didn't that thing have a face?!"
That was terrifying.
Sokka closed his eyes trying to calm down, after all this was the spiritual world, he was not going to see normal things like on the living plane. "Well, I have to continue investigating"
Then, Sokka continued walking around. In front of him was a cave, which he entered out of mere curiosity despite it looking dangerous, "I don't know if this was a good idea..."
"No, it wasn't," a voice sounded behind him and Sokka turned quickly, but saw nothing. Turning again, he saw something abominable.
The being was some kind of giant centipede with a white face. Sokka swallowed and tried to use the system to figure out who he was.
Name: Koh Weapons: none
Titles: [Face thief] Class: Spirit
Sokka quickly remembered the animal he saw earlier, the one without a face. And seeing the title of this being, it didn't take long for him to realize what happened.
'I'll stay still' Sokka thought that would be the best option, he honestly couldn't live without his face, "Hello, are you Koh?"
"I am. You, from what I see, are from the water tribe, it's been a while since I saw one of your kind" Koh commented with a very deep and abysmal voice.
'Did you steal that one's damn face too?' Sokka asked in his mind, clenching his fists, and he closed his blue eyes, relaxing.
"And what is the reason for your visit to my humble home?" Koh asked, curling up in a visibly disturbing manner.
To be honest, Sokka was just snooping, "Since you're a spirit, could you tell me the way to kill another spirit?"
He asked this question because of the spirit that was attacking the village. If there was a way to stop him, he would not hesitate to learn it.
Koh turned quickly upon hearing that, "That is a very bold question... but for you, who doesnt have any control over Chi, there is no way you can achieve it."
"Chi?" Sokka asked curiously.
"I forgot that you mortals are crude in the way you do things" Koh let out a kind of tired sigh, before continuing.
"They were given to you the gift of controlling the elements, but you never bothered to investigate their basis, which is Chi, the energy of life"
"This is found in humans, animals, plants, and can be controlled. Even we spirits are made of Chi," Koh whispered, making Sokka open his eyes.
'Right now I'm a spirit from being on this plane, so the weapons in the inventory will also be spiritual?' Sokka thought, that doubt eating away at him. If that was the case, he already had a plan.
"But all this is useless for you to know, you are incapable of using this energy, you didn't receive the gift" Koh crawled on the roof of that cave.
"That's not a limitation for me," Sokka commented with a smile and Koh sidled up, "I have gifts of my own"
"Human talent will always be limited" Koh began to approach the warrior, "There are things you can never do"
"But I can KILL you!" Sokka turned very quickly, thrusting a spear into Koh's face, "This way you'll never steal faces again!"
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH" Koh screamed in pain, writhing like the worm he was and Sokka took the opportunity to escape from that cave.
He ran without looking back, because he didn't know if he had killed him but at least he was able to hit him in the face, 'I definitely need weapons to kill spirits.'
He saw a giant burrow a few meters away and went in without hesitation, to wait a few minutes in case Koh had been chasing him this time.
'Hurting or killing a spirit should add a lot of points to my system,' Sokka thought with a smile, but suddenly he began to fall into the void, "What the hell!"
He couldn't stop to fall. This looked like some kind of tunnel, he couldn't see anything else, until he suddenly came out and collided with a bookshelf, and the books fell on top of him.
"Ouch!" Sokka touched his head from the damage and looked at the surroundings, it looked like a giant library, "No, this is not the spirit world."
"Who's out there?!" A gloomy voice spread throughout the surroundings and a huge dark owl appeared before Sokka.
"Hello, I'm Sokka, where am I?" the boy asked with a nervous smile.
