Jiang Jiu hadn't expected that on the eve of her engagement, she'd be pinned to the bed by her boyfriend's brother.

"Jiang Siyan, what are you doing!"

Jiang Jiu instinctively tried to push the man on top of her away but was easily subdued by him.

The man's lips curved up, revealing a slow smile on his gentle and scholarly face, "You're about to get engaged, naturally I'm here to give you a parting gift."

As he spoke, he turned on his phone and played a video, from which immediately emanated a series of embarrassingly intimate sounds.

Jiang Jiu's face blushed red, unwilling to watch any longer, yet Jiang Siyan's large hand grasped her chin, forcing her to keep her eyes on the screen.

The next second, Jiang Jiu's movements briefly stilled, the man in the video she was all too familiar with was her fiancé-to-be, Liang Xu!

And yet he was so energetically involved with the woman in the video!

Jiang Jiu's complexion turned deathly pale, her mind in complete disarray, unable to believe what she was seeing.

Jiang Siyan's gaze rested on Jiang Jiu's face, his eyes swirling with a sickly darkness as he spoke deliberately, "He doesn't deserve you, how about, I marry you instead."

Jiang Jiu's eyes reddened slightly, "Jiang Siyan, don't be insane!"

"Heh."

Jiang Siyan let out a self-deprecating laugh and slowly leaned down, his cold lips grazing her earlobe as he spoke each word like a Pandora's box full of lethal temptation, pressing her into a fall, "Would you rather be devoured entirely by that kind of man, or would you dare to try... the one you've raised?"

Jiang Jiu stared intently at the man in front of her, the little puppy who could only follow her around, calling her "Sister Jiang" shyly. Six years had passed without a trace, and he had transformed into a wild dog that could now pounce on her.

Thirteen years ago, Jiang Jiu's parents had divorced, each too concerned with their own careers to bother with Jiang Jiu, the unwanted baggage. Thus, at the mere age of ten, Jiang Jiu returned to the countryside with her grandmother, where she met a frail young boy.

The young Jiang Siyan was nothing like the towering figure with the distinct muscle definition he had now. Perhaps due to delayed development, the young Jiang Siyan looked rather skinny in her eyes, plus his pale complexion made him seem like a little girl.

Back when she played in the yard, she happened to see some mischievous children from the village bullying Jiang Siyan and intervened to stop them. Moreover, her grandmother mentioned that Jiang Siyan was also living with his grandfather, so naturally, Jiang Jiu assumed he shared her sense of solidarity and included him in her own realm.

Being a young girl, she was taller than the boys her age, and even though she was only half a year older than Jiang Siyan, she had him calling her "Sister Jiang" for seven years with her arm around his shoulder.

When they met again, he was Liang Xu's brother.

The Jiang Siyan of today had a tall and slender figure, his complexion slightly cold, his brow bones pronounced, his lips thin and carved, his face adorned with a pair of fine golden-rimmed glasses. His shirt buttons were always fastened right to the top, exuding a sense of stability yet an extreme sense of repressed asceticism.

Jiang Siyan looked down from his lofty position with appreciation at the expression on Jiang Jiu's face at that moment, softly calling her name, seemingly displeased with her distracted state.

His voice, however, was like a wild beast forcibly suppressed, ready to burst free at any moment and tear her limb from limb.

Jiang Jiu extended her hand and pushed Jiang Siyan away, "I want to confirm it myself."

Jiang Siyan rose with poise, straightening out his clothes, the rebellious aura around him slowly dissipating, still maintaining an appearance of a debonair degenerate, nonchalant and composed.

"I'll take you home."

At that moment, Jiang Jiu's mind was a mess. She couldn't understand why Jiang Siyan had gone mad, nor did she know whether her boyfriend Liang Xu had truly betrayed her.

But then again, could the video possibly be fake?

As Jiang Siyan drove her home, Jiang Jiu was still somewhat dazed. She pushed open the car door to get out, only to have the man grab her arm.

Under the car's warm interior lighting, Jiang Siyan's features appeared somewhat gloomy, "Won't you give me a parting kiss?"

Jiang Jiu frowned, "Jiang Siyan..."

The man's lips curved, "You were the one who taught me this."
