There are different ways to gain power in a world fallen to ruin You can devote your services to a guild of survivors and climb in ranks Or you can choose to become a demon slave and gain massive rewards You can choose to betray everyone you know and join the Invaders, an organization of humans hoping to bring back the Cleorans, an extraterrestrials race of beasts back to earth. Or you could choose to climb to the summit of Disaster Mountain, the mountain that appeared in the middle of the ocean. According to rumours, if you climb to its summit you'll gain the powers of a god, and these powers were what drove Scar Wayhaven and his team to climb the mountain. They manage to reach the top but turn around and betray Scar. He is killed gruesomely and bemoans his own faith but his story wasn't ready to end yet. He is suddenly selected to become the Sovereign of Earth and is gifted a system to help him in his adventures. Revenge. That was the first thing that came to his mind as he realized that he was now more powerful than anyone imagined. But it's a large world and Scar is soon to learn that there is more to life than the petty dealings of humans...
