"It does," Sthena interrupted. "It does change something because the man I killed is not Daemon." He revealed to the scared Perdita.
Perdita blinked in confusion, her mind racing with different kinds of questions as she tried to understand what Sthena told her. "What are you talking about? What do you mean? Isn't he—" Perdita drawled and looked in the direction where Regan took the body of Daemon to.
"He isn't," Sthena replied. "The man is not Daemon. He is an imposter."
"An imposter," Perdita whispered, recalling her dream again where Daemon had posed as Sthena to deceive and drink her blood. Now she wasn't sure if this was a dream or not because the happening right in front of her was similar to what happened in her dream too.
Could it be possible that this fake Daemon came into her dream to deceive her too? Perdita internally questioned herself as she found everything to be amiss.
