New Farming Life for Hubby!

He opened his eyes and look around, everything is white, he looked down and he can't see his body. 'Oh! I died.' he thought.

His name is Benedict, 'Ben' as what his close friends call him. An architect, a husband, and a father. Already retired and in old age, just waiting for the day when he can see his wife again on the other side.

'I wonder where this place is.' As he's thinking that, he saw an office desk, with a man looking at him with a smile. He approached him and asked, "Hello, who are you and where are we?"

"Ah Ben, you can just call me Manager, as for where we are, this is my private office."

"Mr. Manager, so can you tell me, why am I alone here, why can't I see other, you know, souls who died..."

"Ben, so many questions, alright let me explain, you see one of our workers made a mistake in reaping human souls, and instead of taking the soul of the man beside your bed in the hospital ward, our worker took yours, hence the reason your alone here."

"Then just send me back! My son and daughter must be worried already!"

"That's the problem, we can't send you back as you're already proclaimed "dead" in your own timeline. So I would like to give you an offer."

"What is it, ahh, this better be good or else I won't forgive you for giving grief to my son and daughter because of your negligence in your work."

"Ok, ok, listen first, you will awake in one of your other self in another timeline."

"Another timeline? Like rebirth in those animes and mangas?"

"Yeah, like that. So do you accept?"

"Wait, wait, how about my children, what will happen to them, oh, I left them and now they're orphans" Ben asked worriedly.

"You don't have to worry about them as they're already adults, they will have a good life ahead of them, I assure you." Then the Manager pointed his finger on Ben's forehead to show him the future of his children.

Having an assurance on the life of his children, he sighed in relief and without anymore worries, he answered "Yes, I accept!"

With a wave of the Manager's hand, Benedict's soul started glowing and slowly disappearing, "Since you're so easy to talk to, I'll add a bonus for you. Farewell!"

Then, everything went black as Ben lost his consciousness.
