Naruto: Secret organization

The world is in chaos. Destiny can not be changed. To protect my people, to reach my goals and ambitions, I'll mold the world from the shadows. Jiraiya: I can't believe it! An organization much more powerful than Akatsuki! Danzo: It's over! My dream of being Hokage... Madara: Impossible! This was not part of my plan! -------------------------------------------------------- I think there's no need to explain any further. English is not my primary language, so I'm sorry if you find so many mistakes, even more in the first chapters, I'll try to fix them, it's just that I don't have a lot of free time. This will be what I'd like to call an EU (expanded universe) since I'll be introducing nations and people who were not present in the original story, so if you want something that will be strictly following the original story, then this is not the place where you belong. Also, I apologize in advance for any mistake in the information of the story, It's just too difficult to search for every little piece of data, so if I don't know anything then I'll just change it. Just give me a chance. I hope you enjoy it.

Chapter 42: We are... poor

Mito and the rest decided to come back to the village. Now that it was going to be their base of operations, they needed to make it a proper village again. However, it was going to be a monumental task.

Right now, they had probably killed or captured all the village's ninjas. The problem of looking for trustworthy people to join them is not going to be easy. So, the only option they had was to raise them from cero. The bad news is that they just don't have the time.

The principal combat group consisted of Mito, Kushina, Minato and Tsunade, while Lite and the rest, the Uzumaki family included, were just people with potential but no value at the moment.

The village had its own academy, but it was so poorly preserved and the themes taught there were so basic that it was better to rebuild it from scratch.

They needed teachers, a combat force for protection, another group for intelligence… but above all, they needed money.

The daimyo of the land was never a good source of income, moreover, when he got the news that his military village was razed to the ground, he decisively escaped with all the money he could take. Right now, the nobles were in an internal fight on who would take the position of power. The good thing was that since the principal military force was no more, a civil was impossible to happen.

This was good since no one would try to take back control of the village, therefore, no additional attention would be drawn toward them.

The money problem was an issue Lite decided to take on eventually, he, by no means, wanted to be in the same position as Rasa. That bastard was at the mercy of the nobles of the land.

Lite always wondered why the ninjas decided to be under their respective daimyos, even in the summit, to decide about the alliance of the five great villages, their permission was required.

He didn't know if they were how fanfics depicted them, full of arrogance and corrupted to the core, or just some nobles, full of shit but not that bad.

Nonetheless, he was having none of that.

— And because of that, we need money, a lot. (Lite)

— Didn't you have a plan to sell novels? (Minato)

— Yeah, but who would have thought this country didn't even have a single industrial printer? (Lite)

This country was so bad that even a printer was a luxury, only the vault had some riches, it was enough to last for a couple of months, but it was not a large-time solution.

— Selling novels was a move of mine to make a social change, it was never a way to earn money. Now, the only way left is to go to another country to look for a publishing house or buy a printer.

Lite was originally happy not to think about any possible political repercussions now that he has his own village. But it seemed he came back to square one.

The only solution Lite could think of was to go looking for the Senju and Uzumaki clan that escaped, but if he did that, then the village would be left defenseless.

— Minato, it seems that before Kushina's condition gets too advance, I'll have to worjk you two to the bone. (Lite)

— *Sigh* I thought so. Well, I better go prepare. The sooner I do it the sooner Kushina will have time to rest. (Minato)

The only thing to do was to hunt for missing ninjas. With the speed and power of Minato, just a couple of weeks would be enough for him to gather a good sum of money.

Tsunade was her medical room, in front of her was her current patient. This woman she just saved was a beauty, a really strong beauty.

— Seriously… What the hell does that idiot have in his mind? (Tsunade)

She just couldn't understand how it is that someone would send a person so talented to her death, it was such a loss for any village that anyone who gets to know this would think the sand has so much talents that they don't mind if they lost one or two. Funny thing that they are the weakest of all of them.

— Still, this was so bad. (Tsunade)

She thought back to her battle. Although she won easily, only she knew the dangers, not against ehr life, but against her mission.

— This technique is still incomplete. (Tsunade)

The reason the fight ended so fast was the new way she found to fight. Explosive speed and strong punches. It was deadly for anybody taking into consideration her experience and technique. Everything was okay but…

— I couldn't see anything. (Tsunade)

She suffered the same problem that Kakashi had with the chidori, she was too fast. Actually, it was even worse for her because she still didn't include any chakra element, if she was to combine her current technique with raiton, then even the current raikage, who prided himself of his speed, would become the second, and with difference.

— Should I steal a sharingan? (Tsunade)

Too fast, not able to change directions, two major problems she doesn't have any idea how to solve.

*Sigh*

Suddenly, she heard a faint groan coming from the bed. It seems the little princess was finally awake.

Pakura, the patient, slowly opened her eyes.

The first thing she saw was a white ceiling, she covered her eyes because of the light. Her body ached everywhere, but there was nothing that impeded her movement, so she sighed in relief.

Looking around, she found her savior, but when she remembered who she truly was, all her nerves went on alert. It was impossible to separate Tsunade from Konoha. So, now she could only think she was a prisoner.

'Great… From one hell to another…'

But she did not start a fight. First, she was not a match for her, Second, she assumed she was in Konoha and until now she was not mistreated, so why do something that's only detrimental for her? On the other hand, she was already betrayed by her village, so, does it matter even if she spill all the beans?

— Good, you're awake. (Tsunade)

— So… I'm Konoha's prisoner eh… (Pakura)

— Well, no. I've already left that place. Also, you're not a prisoner, otherwise I would not be here taking care of you. I'm a legendary ninja after all. (Tsunade)

— … (Pakura)

They both stayed silent for a period of time. Pakura trying to understand her situation and Tsunade just observing her.

Seeing that she was getting nowhere, Pakura decided to just be direct and ask whatever she wanted.

— Where am I? Why did you save me? (Pakura)

— We are in what once was the country of grass. (Tsunade)

Pakura nodded, this was pretty close to where she was ambushed.

— Then why did you save me? (Pakura)

— I watched you, you are strong. It's a pity to let you die that way, and also, we need strong people. (Tsunade)

— We? (Pakura)

— Yes, we. But first — Tsunade moved extremely fast and appeared before her. She extended her hand and before Pakura could do anything, her tongue was grabbed and a cursed mark appeared there. — I need you to keep this a secret.

What she used was something similar to what Danzo put in his root, a curse mark. The only difference is that this seal doesn't have a method to control the other party. Tsunade knew that they can not trust everyone, so it's better to prevent any kind of danger.

Even if they let go of Pakura, she wouldn't leave, she has no place to leave, but there were many ways to obtain information.

— What did you do?! (Pakura)

— Calm down! It's just precaution. (Tsunade)

What could she do? Life was unfair, thought Pakura.

— Now, let's talk about a topic I'm sure you're interested in. What do you think about your village? (Tsunade)

Pakura listened to those words and couldn't help but remember how she almost died. She clenched her fist with all her might and swore that sooner or later she would make all those bastards pay.

'I like that look.' Tsunade thought she could only convince her to join their group if they had something to offer.

— Now calm down. Even if you go running, you'll end up getting killed again. You're currently too weak. The question is, do you want to continue like this? (Tsunade)

Pakura knew nothing was free. Even more so now that she knew the person who was offering her a deal had abandoned her village too. But by now there was nothing to stope her.

— What do you want? (Pakura)

She made a deal with the devil.

Tsunade smiled.

— Welcome to the party, you're going to have so much fun! (Tsunade)

— Wait! Is it possible to also bring my disciple? (Pakura)

Tsunade's smile grew even more. Right now they needed slav… cough workers mora than anything.
