ARE YOU PERHAPS IN LOVE?

Gone were the thoughts of the bike replaced by the massive look of the skyscraping buildings in front of her.

"C'mon girl, Wad ya waiting for?" Ashley gestured for Vilian to follow him quickly, which she was to do, but she heard her phone chime from her pant pocket, stopping her.

"Give me a minute," she said and took her phone out, only to bite her tongue back.

"Who is it?"

"Who else, if not for your brother?" she said, declining and placing it back into her pocket. "Let's get going," she nudged his back, but Ashley gave her a baffled look. She looked at him questioningly.

"I don't think that was something wise to do," he said, pointing at her phone that was peeking out from the pocket slightly.

"Tch!! As if I'd care. What... he ain't gonna eat, ain't he?" she said, waving her hands nonchalantly and patting his shoulder, gesturing him to move ahead. Ashley chuckled finding her gestures amusing. Sadly, it didn't last long. They heard a rough not so far from where they were, numbing their once-yippie feet.

"Really?"

Ashley turned at a one-eighty degree and gave an uneasy smile to his brother who stood right in front of him now. But not a minute passed by, and he dashed out of their sight, leaving Vilian, all alone by herself.

Realizing her situation, Vilian gritted her teeth, cursing the escaped figure but giving an innocent smile as she greeted the smirking devil, "Hello, Devi- Uhh... I mean Mr.Astrel." She didn't know why she keep on changing the way she addressed him, but one thing was for sure. He is such a devil.

Staring for a few seconds with an annoyed look he wore his glasses which were black that shaded down to brown and turned in the opposite direction.

"Follow me," he said, taking long strides, not waiting for her.

'Damn! he walks like a machine,' she thought as she tailed after him as fast as she could. By the time they reached the underground parking lot, Vilian was huffing and puffing with beads of sweat.

"Can't you wait for- Woah!!" Just who were these brothers? The little one had one of the cool bokes while the elder one? Uff... Vilian's jaws dropped down. Finding it too hard to shut it close. TOO LAVISH...

"As much as I want to see the flies settle down in that mouth of yours for the rest of its life, unfortunately, I must say, I do not have all my time to do so. Not a minute," he said and got into what looked like a black car under the dimly lit bulbs of the parking lot.

Vilian ran to the other side and got into the car immediately settling in the black leathered shotgun seat. She waited for them to leave the parking lot and once they did, she cleared her throat and glanced beside her. Astrel was fully focused on the road.

"Uhh... actually-" She was about to speak out but he gestured not to do so as he glanced at his phone indicating an incoming call from an unknown ID. He connected it to his Bluetooth and answered the call.

Vilian could not listen to the conversation they were in but whatever the person said seemed so serious by the look of Astrel's frown-etched face.

Cold, distant, and intimidating but it did nothing to scare her. She felt drawn toward his attractive side and did not tremble to the scary aura which was exuding from the devil beside her.

He was looking frustrated as he ran his pale long fingers through his inky locks which seemed more like a new soft brush being fanned. Some of the little strands came to settle over his forehead covering his right eye.

Vilian could not take her eyes off his cold yet handsome sexy sight. She almost rolled at the thought of calling him 'SEXY' For goodness sake, everyone knows he's such 'A COLD JERK!' But still... she could not deny the obvious truth. His thick and sharp eyebrows frowned now and then itching her fingertips to touch them. The clenching jawlines expressed the anger bubbling through him.

So lost in admiring his manly features, she didn't realize when he had accelerated the car. She was trapped in a daze.

Those winter-cold eyes weren't much visible from her side, but his long lashes strangely kept fluttering so slowly, or was she hallucinating? She shook her head and gazed back at it. Right. Her mind was back to playing tricks with her.

Oh, God! His sinful lips. Those lips that were created to smirk as always lead by the long shape nose, were unusually kept thin at the moment. Vilian's gaze drifted back to his eyes.

What was going on? Why was he stiff and rigid? thought Vilian.

All of a sudden she fled forward hitting her forehead. "Ahh!" winced and hissed Vilian rubbing the bumped head profusely. "Didn't see this coming," she mumbled with a scrunched face.

"Are you alright?" came the voice with a slight tap on her shoulder. For a minute she thought it came out with concern but who was she speaking of? There was a slight smirk on his lips. Vilian rolled her eyes settling back on the seat. Her forehead was in the process of forming a slight bump with reddened skin.

"Careful, Ms. Frost! I must warn you, with the way you look into me, you might fall in love with me," he stated it was as if he was lecturing something serious, but it wasn't all. He continued, "Or... are you perhaps in love with me?" he questioned the latter leaning closer to her. She backed away but he didn't follow her.

Vilian glared at him with a pout. And the next thing went unexpected. Astrel pinched her pouting lips catching her off-guard. Her eyes widened in surprise.

"I'll be right back," he said and left the car but not before winking at her with a cheeky smirk. Vilian could not process anything. Her heart was pounding out loud.

"Calm down little one, he's just a jerk trying to mess with us," she said, patting her chest as if it would calm it down and it really did in a few seconds, "Good little one you are," She praised her heart and kissed her hand and rubbed it over her chest.

Soon after she did so, her face turned red, realizing what she had done a moment ago. Thankfully no one saw her weird gesture, or she'd be dead out of embarrassment. She bit back her chuckles soon after she spotted the devil walking toward the vehicle in a hasty step.

Vilian saw both of his hands were occupied, with two bags and an opaque gray file bag, when stepping into the car. He handed a little white grocery bag to her. Vilian glanced at him skeptically. However, it didn't stop her from taking it to herself. She slowly peeked into it cautiously. The act of hers made her look adorable bringing a slight tug on his lips. A surprised gasp left Vilian's mouth looking into the little bag.

'An Ice pack? Why was he being considerate, or does he feel sorry to hit her by the sudden break?' she thought but soon shook her head, 'Never in a million times would this jerk feel sorry,' she said to herself. She glanced at him. He was already looking at her. She felt awkward, not knowing what to do or whether to thank him.

"Don't be too overwhelmed. I had an important task to fulfill at the pharmacy," he said not giving a damn about her. Throwing the bag at the rear seat, he placed the grey file in the storage compartment. "Stop gawking at me and dab it over the bump unless you want me to do that too," he said starting the engine and heard her mutter,

"As if you would!" A smirk broadened his lips. Snapping his head to her he leaned over to her and gazed at her intently. His hand took hold of the ice pack and placed it on her forehead. Vilian's bearly calmed heart hitched her breath, gazing at him closely.

"Ouch!! Ouch!! You dumb idiot!!" She winced, cursing him as he intentionally pressed the ice pack. Vilian snatched it from his hand, dug her nails into his skin, and swatted his hands. She pushed him away with a hot glare.

"Fiercely cute!" muttered Astrel, under her breath, chuckling to himself, and raced the car. The words were buried under the roar of the cool car. "Put on the seat belt, Kitty, or you'll blame me once again, which I don't mind at all."

"I've alre-
