Chapter 4 - Unlocking and Training

Some time after Kizashi finished reciting the wiki on what is chakra, how does it work , how to mold , and the basic control exercise, he looks at Ren "So this is in general what you have to know about chakra do you understand or i have to repeat that?"

Ren with a cold sweat replies "No, no dad i understood everything it's just that you didn't say how to unlock the chakra..." Kizashi soon respond "Oh that, well technically you do not unlock the chakra everyone got always a little chakra in their bodies what you unlock are all the tenketsu in your body and once unlocked they help you mold and release your chakra that way you can train to increase your chakra quantity and quality"

Then Kizashi lead Ren near a big tree in the park tell "Now sit here cross legged, and close your eyes, I will now help you get a feel of your own chakra once you feel your chakra try to will it to move from its point of origin to all your chakra pathway system, doing so will make you feel like you meet an obstacle, do not worry it is natural, that is your tenketsu and will open with just a gentle push..."

Ren follow his father instruction, he sits cross legged and close his eyes trying to feel is own chakra, Ren was unsuccessful for a while until he started to feel some kind of tug from his chest area more specifically from his heart.

Following this feeling he was able to find two things, the first is a warm and tingling feeling, that is without doubt his chakra, the second seem to be a miniature of his 10 cm sword bathing in his chakra and is the origin of that tug 'You still do not have a name yet and are already helping me, thank you pal, i hope we can talk soon' sincerely thought Ren.

Now that he could feel his chakra, Ren tries to direct to his chakra pathway and after a few unsuccessful tries he was able to move his chakra onward the first tenkestu point and like is father said he only need a gentle push to open it and moving on to the next.

Meanwhile Kizashi was shocked to find out that without his help Ren was able to feel and even start moving his chakra and unlocking the tenkestu so he just stood there watching over his son.

After an hour, Ren opened his eyes a told his father"Dad, I think i have done it, and feel my chakra, and have unlocked all the tenketsu now what?"

Kizashi with a grin replies "Now first i teach you how to meditate so that you can increase your spiritual power as for the physical one it is better to ask your mother as i know only the basics and then, if we have time left, i teach you how to improve control of your chakra by using the leaf sticking exercise"

For the next two hours Kizashi taught Ren how to meditate and the chakra control exercise but just as he was about to begin the leaf sticking exercise Mebuki, Sakura , Ino and Ino's mom came back.

So Ren decide to pick up a bunch of leaves and put it in his pocket so that he can train at home, then with Sakura he said goodbye to Ino and went Home with his family.

On the way home Mebuki asked "So how did Ren's training go?"

Kizashi with a proud smile "Hahaha, I taught him everything about chakra, he was able to feel and unlock the tenketsu, learned to meditate and as was about to start the leaf sticking exercise, he obviously got my brain, nothing hold a candle to our son"

Mebuki sighed "And was hoping that you forgot about using silly birthday puns today, but good job Ren just be careful to not overwork yourself dear too much of something is always bad" said with care to Ren

Ren nodding"Sure mom I'll be careful , but talking about training what is appropriate for my age to do for physical exercise?" then Ren continue "You know dad says that is better to ask you about this as you are more know more on physical exercise than him"

Mebuki thought for while and then said "Well for your age only endurance , coordination and agility training can be done but that too in moderation as even if chakra somehow protect you , you can easily hurt yourself if you are not careful but do not worry tomorrow I'll teach you and Sakura"

Ren replies "Thanks mom" meanwhile Sakura whine " Mom do i have to train too, Ino told me that is boring and sometimes painful" before Mebuki or Kizashi could respond, Ren intervenes "Sakura mom and dad will never force you to do something if it isn't good for you, think about it even if Ino-chan complains to you she is still being trained by her parents and so are Shikamaru and Choji are you sure that you want to fall behind all our friend?, and they are not asking you to train everyday just to know the basic and train sometimes for and hour or so as mom said we are too young to train."

"Well said Ren" exclaims Mebuki, and she said to Sakura "It is exactly as your brother said i'am not telling you to train everyday just to know the basic and train with your brother sometimes".

Ren than continues "And if you find training too boring we could train together with Ino-chan for a while and then play what do you think?" Sakura thought for a while before nodding"...ok i'll train".

And so done with the training discussion the family of four came back home had lunch and a cake, spend the rest of day together having fun and enduring Kizashi relentless birthday puns.

When came the night, Ren once again locked himself in the bathroom and summoned his Asauchi and instantly noticed the change now the blade form it's 10 cm went to the length of 30 cm almost the size of a tanto.

Then Ren sat cross legged and put the half-tanto on his legs and tries to meditate while sending chakra to the katana as expected he got no response as he is still too weak to hear is sword,

Ren looked at the asauchi and said "Do not worry i'll train as much as possible to hear and talk to you and once we can communicate even if i can't hear your name yet, i hope you'd help me getting stronger so that i can hear your name soon until then watch over me partner".

After that Ren felt his sword move a little as if acknowledging Ren words done, with that Ren put the sword inside himself again and went to sleep as for tomorrow he'll start training hard.
