The sound of footsteps on the pavement was the only sound that filled your ears as you walked down the empty street, you had decided to help one of your friends move into her new apartment and it took a lot longer than you expected, she offered to drive you home since it was late but you went for walking home instead which you were now regretting. "Why does it have to be so damn cold at night?" You asked nobody but yourself. You continued walking until you got back to your apartment. "Finally home." You sighed as you opened the door. All you wanted to do right now was put on some warm pajamas and curl up in your bed. You open the door to your bedroom, the first thing that caught your attention was the large lump underneath your bedsheets. You cautiously approached your bed and gently pulled the sheets off, what was underneath surprised you. Underneath the sheets was a man dressed in a cloak and a plague doctor mask. He looks just like that plague doctor from the game you like to play. 'Hold on...why the hell does he look like 049?' You step back in confusion. The man shifts and slowly sits up. You slowly back up but you being your clumsy self tripped over your own feet and fell to the floor with a loud thud, the man quickly turns to you and gets up. 'Oh god please no.' You scoot back. The man walks up to you and you scoot back more until your back is pressed against the wall. You stare up at him with fear in your eyes. 'Is this how I'll die?' You screw your eyes shut awaiting your fate. "I do not sense the disease in you." The familiar voice of 049 breaks through the loud silence in your head and you open your eyes. You slowly look up at him, still as terrified as before. His yellow eyes stared down at you while your e/c eyes stared back. After a few minutes of staring at each other, 049 decided to speak. "Are you afraid?" He asks. You slowly nod. He kneels. "There is no need to fear me." He starts to reach for you. "P-please don't touch me." You tremble slightly. He doesn't move, he just keeps his arm slightly extended. "I do not wish to harm you, please allow me to touch you." He extends his arm more. "But if you touch me you'll kill me!" You exclaim. He obviously didn't listen to you since you felt his hand cup your cheek, instead of dying like you thought you would, you felt 049's soft and warm hand on your cheek. You leaned into his hand, why were you so comfortable with him all of a sudden? "Are you calm now?" He asks. "Yes, I am." You smile brightly. 049 stands up, his gaze stayed on you. "Do you need help standing up?" He asks. "No, no I'm fine." You stand up. "So, I'm sure you might be confused about where you are and who I am." You try to look professional in some sort of way. "I am a tad bit interested in how I ended up here." There is a hint of amusement in 049's tone. "W-well, I can't tell you how you ended up here...but! I can tell you where you are! You are currently in Seattle, Washington in the United States of America! Specifically my apartment." You smile. "Ah, I see." 049 takes a moment to look around. "Now that you know where you are I should tell you my name. It's Y/n L/n." You rest your hands on your hips. "It is a pleasure to meet you Y/n." You may not be able to see his face but you know he's smiling. "Now I need a name for you because it'd be weird to call you 049." You scratched your chin. 049 stood there silently waiting while you thought about what to call him. "I know! I'll call you Doc!" You exclaim happily. "Doc it is then." Doc nods in approval. You smile brightly hearing that he likes the name you gave him. "Oh! Are you hungry at all?" You ask. "I am a tad bit ravenous." Doc chuckles. You smile and leave the room to go to your kitchen. You hum softly as you cook, you listen to Doc's soft footsteps as he explores your apartment. After a while, you finished cooking and put the food, specifically speaking pasta, in a bowl. "Hey, Doc I'm done!" You turn around to see Doc curiously looking at a black book, that black book being filled with pornographic imagery of the very man looking at it. You quickly rush over and snatch the book from him. "Don't you know that it's rude to snatch things out of someone's hands?" Doc looks at you, a displeased look in his eyes. "S-sorry it's just this is kind of private and I didn't want you to look in it.." You look down at the book in your hands. You feel a hand on your head and then hear Doc chuckle. "It's quite alright my dear." You look up at him and softly smile. "We should go eat before the food gets cold." You walk back over to the counter, Doc follows. You hand him a bowl and you start eating but Doc just sits there staring at the bowl. "Is something wrong?" You ask. You then realize that he might not be able to eat anything. "Is your mask keeping you from eating?" You tilt your head to the side. He shakes his head gently reaching under his hood, you hear what sounds like buckles being undone then he slips the mask off. Your eyes widened, he was so handsome, you couldn't help but stare. "I assume you find me attractive." Doc smiles. "O-oh um.." You suddenly became a blushing mess. "It's alright if you do." Doc reassured. "O-okay in that case I do find you attractive." You admitted. Doc patted your head. "Let's finish eating okay?" Doc picks up his fork and you nod continuing to eat. After you two finish eating you clean the dishes, Doc continues to wander around your apartment. You went to your room and put on a baggy shirt and baggy pants. Doc knocks on the door, "Y/n? Are you decent?" He asks. "Yes, I am." You reply. He walks in, "I've been pondering on this for quite some time…" He starts. You look at him curiously. "...Where shall I sleep?" He finishes. "Oh, I have a guest bedroom, you can sleep there." You smile. "Thank you." Doc nods and goes to your guest room. Finally it hit you, "Holy shit he came from my game!"
