Legendary Floating Ship Or A Floating Mansion?

After struggling a few more times, Master finally let go of me. 

The two of us, with the lead of her, jumped on the tens of meters high floating ship. 

The materials that were used to build the ship are a special wood. If I am not mistaken, I can sell just a piece of the wood from this ship for millions of Mana Coin. 

However, few people knew about this type of wood or the true value of this ship. I only found this out recently after Master bragged. 

"This is so cool! " I praised. I am at a loss for words on how to describe my feeling right now. 

I just looked around with my mouth open.

This ship is a mind opener. I am nothing compared to my Master. Worthy of being my Master and a legendary figure of the Maharlika continent. 

"This is not just a cool ship, this is a legendary fortune ship artifact! " Master explained. She stretched her hand towards the deck of the ship, which I barely can see, even with my enchanted eyes. It is so far. "Look at that, that point, can you see the golden peacock statue standing there?! " She added. 

"Of course" Although I can't see, I want to hear her explanation about what it symbolizes, so I just agreed. 

"That is a fortune type artifact. With that, we don't need to be vigilant too much on our way. That artifact alone can help us avoid bad luck" As she said that, I got startled. "It's a golden statue Master, isn't that a god in the eyes of a thief? What if they see it? They will surely go to rob us" 'That is not an artifact that can give a fortune, but a fortune that can give a catastrophe' 

Hearing my questioning words, My Master didn't feel annoyed at all, but she seemed happier to explain more; she's bragging; "In the eyes of the thief, it really is a god. However, as I said before, that is a luck-type artifact, it will help us avoid bad luck. Although there are many bandits, it is mostly impossible for them to spot us. This artifact alone can guarantee our fate " 

Seeing that she has determined to stand her point, I didn't ask anymore. Anyway, even if robbers really noticed us and tried to rob us, well, I hope they won't die easily from Master's hand. 

"What's the total length of this ship, Master? " Just relying on my eyes, it is impossible to guess it. Asking her is the best solution to understand this ship more. 

I love ships. Especially this floating one. 

Master looked at both endpoints of the ships and got into deep thought, total silence for a few seconds until she finally spoke; "This is the smallest flying ship I have. It has an estimated length of 30 meters or something. I already forgot. It's been a long time since I gained this ship and used it! " She said as she pointed at both endpoints of the ship. 

Anyway, I really can't see the decks of the ship, and maybe my Master doesn't know it. I just acted as if I could understand her. 

Legendary mages aren't easy to understand.

"Then, Master, where did you get this cool ship? " The ship is still yet to move, but I already have thousands of questions in mind. Although it's impossible to ask them all, I want answers as much as possible. 

"I make this ship, of course! " Master showed a proud smile and claimed. 

"Nah, talk to the wall! " I turned around, then left her alone. 

I'll just take a look around the ship, it's better than listening to pretense and bragging of hers. 

She doesn't even sounds reliable.

Looking around, the ship reminds me more of a mansion than a ship at all. This floating ship looks like a floating mansion. 

Bizarre. 

I shook my head, then started walking around. 

There is a main house, a courtyard where there is a garden and pool, storage rooms where foods and treasure are stock, and more facilities on the ship.  

It's literally a flying mansion. Tehe.

Master didn't speak nor try to annoy me and just let me familiarize myself with every corner of the ship. It is rare to see her quiet, so I want to cherish this time. 

After a few rounds and finished visiting the important places on the ship, my Master led the way towards the basement and went into the main room. 

This room is where the regulator of the ship is located. 

The ship needs a driver. 

And because this ship isn't normal like the others, this ship has a spirit living in it. With my Master's word, it appeared like a projector and did what my Master commanded. 

The name of the spirit is Star, which is also the name of the ship. 

After Master's exchanged words, she asked me to go back to the deck again. 

But before leaving, I once again looked at the main control room. 

Compared to the other facilities that are on the ship, the main control room is in the basement. That is why it is dim here and only being lit by the glowing stones that are being run by mana. 

There is only a wooden table in the middle of the room and a sphere-shaped mana stone that is as big as a basketball ball. 

This mana stone is the one fueling and controlling the entire ship; every corner and part of it. 

However, I don't need to think too much about it. After all, the one responsible is the Spirit and the only thing I need to do is to accompany my Master and maybe enjoy this trip. 

My Master and I came back on the deck of the ship and got ready. 

"Okay, now that everything has settled, it's time for us to set off. " Master said. "Star, set sail now" then added after seeing me, nodded. 

Swoosh* 

The ship slowly lifted for a few more meters higher from the ground.

Master made a wind protection barrier in front of the ship that helps me to see everything without being disturbed by the wind. 

You know, when moving against the wind, it hurts your eyes if you try to look forward, but with this wind protection barrier, there is no need to worry. 

After a few more seconds, the ship finally zoomed. 

Even though it is moving at thousands of kilometers per hour speed, I can barely feel it moving at all. 

The balance is steady and no unnecessary movement happening. The wind is also being stopped by the barrier Master had cast, so it feels as if I am just on the ground. 

Everything is normal. 

Anyway, where is the destination?! 

I suddenly remembered. I turned sideways and saw Master watching the view before us. Delight. 

Sometimes, it's good to see my Master happy without doing a weird thing.
