This is precisely why this task was assigned to them rather than to the members of the lower floors.

The lifespan of wizards varies at each level, with First Circle Wizards having a lifespan of 100 years. 

As wizards advance to the Second Circle, they gain an additional 100 years of lifespan, with this pattern continuing until they reach the Fifth Circle, where they have a lifespan of 500 years. 

Despite this, 500 years is relatively limited for wizards, as reaching higher levels becomes increasingly challenging and time-consuming.
