The Torment Continues
Max stepped into the elevator that led to the president's office as Ethan filled him in on the situation of things in his company and what his schedule looked like as he would resume work that day.
"Has the game company contacted you again?" Max asked Ethan as he punched in the floor number of the president's office.
"They got back to Donald about their branch opening and their interest in collaborating with us. I had delayed the matter since you weren't well and I was running around to fix anything I could." Ethan answered as they waited to reach their destination.
"You've done great. You've worked hard and selflessly stood by me. I can't thank you enough, so don't ever hesitate to ask anything of me."
