As soon as he stepped through the door, Allen and Aiden rose to their feet to greet him warmly.
A friendly smile spread across his face as he acknowledged the younger men, then turned to his older brother, Francis, offering a slight bow of respect.
After a brief but heartfelt handshake with Francis, he settled into a chair, taking a moment to survey the room.
His gaze fell upon two women seated nearby, who also bowed slightly in recognition, treating him with the deference due to an elder. He returned their gesture with a smile, feeling a sense of familial connection.
"I suppose you both are my in-laws," Frederick announced confidently, his tone firm and matter-of-fact rather than inquisitive.
The two women were undeniably beautiful, yet one exuded a certain sweetness and charm that seemed to set her apart from the other. However, he couldn't quite place which woman belonged to which of his brother's sons.
