Chapter 121

Jasmine's POV

"Mhhmm" I groan waking up to absolute darkness. I switch on the lamp on my side of the bed.

I try to sit up but my legs don't cooperate and my arms suddenly have the strength of Jello.

A sharp pain across my stomach has me screaming.

Asher jolts up from the bed instantly sitting up right. His eyes fully open when he sees I'm in pain.

"Shit!" he curses

I take greedy gulps of air when it starts to become too hard to breathe.

"What is it baby?" Asher asks gently massaging my belly.

Another pain flashes before my eyes. This one hits me so hard that I rip the sheets I'm clutching between my fingers.

"I- I think the baby is coming" I squeak through the intense pain that now rocks my body.

Through my squinted eyes I see Asher's expression changing rapidly to one of fear.

So much for being the Alpha of one of the strongest packs in the world.

"Can you stand?"
