Lucifer's Mate(COMPLETED)

"Wake up my sweet scarr" a melodic voice called to me, so enchanting  I didn't want to awaken from my slumber

I groaned in response to the melodic voice "1 more hour please I don't want to awake just yet" I mumbled into the pillow which probably came out more as "1mourpeasenoawake"

"Well my sweet Scarlett you leave me no choice Lorenzo,our dear Scarlett needs help waking up" I heard the voice yell making me scrunch my eyes

"Too much noice" I grumbled sleepily

"Is that so" a deep voice sounded "well hear comes the tickle monster" I quickly popped my eyes open at the sound of 'tickle' and glared at my two evil parents

It was 1:00pm far too early for me I was up late yesterday excited for today for a reason I can't remember right now I am not fully functioning because of these over cooked pop tarts waking me up too early

"You" I squealed stomping over to my parents "are the definition of evil" I stood at there knees poking them both in the legs glaring into their eyes

They just smiled at me

"Happy Birthday my lovely daughter" my mom smiled down at me while my dad chuckled

I gasped totally forgetting I was mad a few seconds ago

" you're getting so big my little Scarlett you're a whole 6 years old now" my dad grinned picking me up

"Put me down right now mister I am too old to be picked up I am almost grown" I glared at him but it quickly turned to a toothy grin

He chuckled at me while setting me down "my beautiful girl growing up too fast if only it could be yesterday again fore today we must soon say goodbye" he kissed my forehead and smiled while looked confused

"What does that mean papa" I asked scrunching my eyebrows together while biting my lip something I did when confused or concentrating

"Nothing princess lets go downstairs" I smiled at that and grabbed their hands

Downstairs it was dark making me grab my mom and dads hands harder

My dad cleared his throat and as if I'm cue the lights cut on and a group of people yelled surprise

"AHHHH" I screamed frightened from the sudden action

When I noticed what happened I glared at everyone and then my evil parents and they gave sheepish looks

"You" I pointed to the people "are all evil chicken strips" I pointed my tiny finger

"And you" I glared at my parents "are going to be thrown to the aliens you keep this up"

I looked back to the room full of people and spotted gifts and CAKE

I squealed and ran to the cake leaving the gifts

"Can we cut it now please please pleaseeeee" I begged

"Sure princess whatever you want" my dad smiled

"Yes I fist bumped the air"

10 minutes later

We were finally about to sing happy birthday after waiting because my family misplaced the lighter while trying to hide when I was upstairs

While I waited I ran upstairs and put on my black overalls and white striped shirt

I'd totally forgot I was in my pajamas when I remembered it was my birthday

I sat behind the cake ready to dig in when my parents walked up to me

"We love you with all our heart Scarr and whatever happens when you cut this cake remember it wasn't his fault" my mom began to tear up

"Fore it marks the hour in which we must leave because we chose to let you fulfill a great destiny, he'll come for you no one knows the hour but with your destiny comes your greatest powers"

my mom and dad eyes glowed golden as they told me this it was a magnificent sight to see  I looked around the room to see if anyone else saw witnessed this beauty but it looked as if they were all frozen

I turned to my parents and my awe struck state faltered as I saw my mom crying silent sobs

"What's wrong mama are the golden eyes hurting you" I asked

My mom looked up at me and smiled then looked towards my dad and nodded

With that they touched my shoulders and I saw a mesmerizing glow come from them flowing into me it was warm until I felt as though I was full it began to burn my veins and ache my head

I screamed and tried moving but I was frozen "IT BURNS MAMA IT BURNS" I screamed "PLEASEEEEE IT BURNS STOP MAMA AND PAPA" I felt as if my throat was bleeding from the pain of screaming

"I know it burns my child but I promise it will be over soon and you wont remember a thing until the time is right" and with that her hand went inside of me making me gasp my dads hand went in next making a tear fall i moved my eyes around trying to blink away the tears but more fell and my voice was no where to be found

Only me standing there with my mouth open with no sound

My mom slowly removed her hand but my dad didn't he grabbed something inside if me and turned it

I felt it all and it was past excruciating when it comes to pain my eyes rolled back into my head as I stood there wanting to scream in painWanting it all to go away  as I felt my dad finally remove his hand I breathe in relief

I felt a soft hand placed on my forehead and took in a sharp breath "relax my child it is done" I opened my eyes to see my mom glowing she was beautiful and golden

She smiled then closed her eyes still touching my head "forget the pain and this moment until it's time for he will come to get you no one knows the hour"

I looked over at my mom and smiled as she helped  me up "why are you on the floor my sweet Scarlett" she smiled

"I don't know mama" I scrunched my nose biting my lip

She grinned "I love you Scarlett and we will meet again come now let's cut the cake"

I squealed and ran to my stool

"You ready my sweet" my Aunt Sall asked

"I want mama and daddy to help me cut it" I looked at my Aunt

"I'm sorry my princess we can't and Aunt Sall really wanted to can she do it this time" my mom asked me

"Aw alright" she smiled "that's my big girl now go ahead cut your cake me and your father will be right behind you" she grinned

I cut a triangular and square type cake and went to give it to my parents only to see they weren't there I looked at my Aunt and she had a sad look on her face

I dropped the cake and ran upstairs to see my mom and day laying on the bed with their eyes closed

I ran to the bed to wake them up mommy, daddy wake up you forgot to get your cake but they wouldn't budge

Wake up mommy,daddy please I cried

This can't be it can't they were fine

I ran to the phone and dialed 911

5 minutes later

"Come with me honey" a female cop called to me

"Why did mommy and daddy die" I cried wiping my eyes she looked down at me and mumbled under her breath

"I don't know sweety, I don't know" she huffed

"Where am I going" I asked

"We have to take you to foster care sweety non of your family want or are eligible to take you in" she huffed again

"What does eligible mean" I asked biting my lip and scrunching my eyebrows

"It means they aren't able sweety" she smiled

"Oh" I stated then yawned and found myself drifting into a well needed slumber
