A sneak peek: Ch206 Cory kinda nods giving me a plain expression saying. "The three lines means we passed all six training courses at age hundred. All boys military or not earn the symbol at the age of a hundred. The non-military boys will get the branded mark on their upper left wrist to show they aren't military but passed their training courses. Everyone else will get the mark to their chosen Division they will work in once their warriors." I nodded confirming my inward assumptions were correct and asked. "I started to notice that but why are you the only one that carries the branded symbol on the back of your lower neck?" "Because I am a Royal," Cory replied. "All Royals get the symbol on the back of their neck." "That's interesting," I mumbled to notice he was still looking at me strangely. As his head cocked slightly. "So are you going to get undressed?" Cory asked with this questionable flirty voice. "Or do I need to help you?" "Pardon me?" I hissed and folded my arms showing my sass. "I never said I was going swimming now did I?" Cory chuckled amused but I rolled my eyes at his kiddish behavior. I mean really, who does he think he is! Suddenly, my stance became still as Cory ambled over close enough that I feel his pleasurable breath airing my face. A heatwave pumped through my veins. As I felt his fingers touch the waistline on my hips. His pupils filled with what seemed to be desiring lust. I was caught in the moment of being mesmerized by those striking eyes. As both, his hands' fingertips travel from my hips along the waistband of my jean shorts. Until he reached the center button. My heartbeat was pounding like a drum and my breath was taken. I found myself lost in his forbidden dark marble green eyes. A half-grin curved on his right lip. And I hear the button on my shorts snap open. I pant as his face leans into my right ear. "So I guess that means I am undressing you," He whispered so seductively. M-rated, gore, domestic violence, gruesome death, assault even sexual, suspense. Tons of characters of all ages most have their own storyline. Mythical creatures and most of them I created myself. Vote, Add, Give a friendly review to help my rating. discord Sara88#4303

Ch 246: The Phone Calls

After leaving Sally in the living room with my friends to keep her company. I found a quiet room and took a sigh to make a call to Baron of the west.

There was no telling how this conversation was going to end. Since the Baron and I aren't allies nor are we enemies. But this doesn't mean he or I trust each other.

As I foresaw it. It didn't take long for me to hear the Baron answer by first breathing into the speaker piece on his phone.

"Primary King Cory, I anticipated you would be calling," Baron said with an impassive voice. "I reckon you have heard about the recent incident between our boys."

I strongly spoke with no sentiment to feed him. "Yes, indeed I have. I've heard girls from your side and mine have been injured. Some more seriously compared to others. I was told your daughter had been seriously injured."

The Baron said indignantly and frigid. "Yes, she did. The daughter of my fourth wife. I have her in recovery. Luckily, she is immortal in case her heart stops. I know you don't have children. So I am doubtful that you could understand how this has broken my wife's heart to see her child get beat up like this!"

I simply replied yet I inwardly seethed. "I may not have children Baron but I could imagine you're in deep frustration and your wife has every right to feel broken. That is her child, after all. Now I think it's important that we discuss this matter in person."

"Agreed, I think a meeting is necessary. We should discuss these measures in person." The Baron consulted with the appropriate allegations to deal with the matter.

"Very well," I obliged with this agreement. "We shall meet within the neutral Court and discuss our measurements at sun's peak."

Just when I was about to disconnect I heard the Baron speaking.

"Before you go," He added. "Don't forget to bring your fiancee."

"Huh..." I was thrown off as he started to chuckle.

"Word is going around, Cory." He began to pry and poke around my business. "I've overheard that the ruthless Highest-ranked Primary King has finally chosen himself a bride. Most of us have seen you haven't done any attacks recently. We are wondering if she might be the reason behind that?"

"Just because I have chosen a bride doesn't mean I am still not ruthless! And when I attack other territories is my business only!" I cruelly gnash in his ear.

"I never doubted that," Baron chuckled, seemingly amused. "Don't forget to bring your bride. All six of my wives will be at the meeting."

"Indeed, see you then," I finally disconnected and sighed, flustered that the news about my engagement with Sally was spreading. I had to keep my bond connection a secret from others knowing or else Sally will be used against me. Otherwise even within the neutral ground territory Kingdoms and Barons might try to foolishly challenge me.

Before I even had any chance to think clearly. My phone rings off just as I was sliding it into my back pocket.

"You gotta be kidding me!" Gritted out vociferously and took my phone back out to see it was my grandfather Phil

"Grandfather?" I was curious and perplexed as to why he might be calling.

At first grandfather, Phil breathed heavily into my ear. I knew he was stressed.

"Well, I am sure you are aware of the incident today with the boys?" Phil called to check-in.

"Those boys will pay greatly," I chuckled rawly with annoyance. "I have a meeting with the Baron tomorrow at the neutral High court and we will discuss this ridiculous matter."

"I knew you would be on it as soon as you heard," Grandfather Phil said and then asked. "Anyways, how did Sally do last night? I called to check up on her as well."

"She was in extreme pain but we got her through it." I informed him. "Today she was more bubbly with me. I'd say the bond is setting as it should."

"Good!" Grandfather was enthralled to hear yet he pried. "I understand you're probably feeling changes yourself?"

"Was there something you needed?" I asked to change the conversation.

I understood he wanted to be here for me but I wanted to be left alone.

"I need to speak with you. After your meeting, why don't you come by the old mansion?" Grandfather asked, chuckling, and knew well that Cory wasn't interested in talking about what he felt.

I sorta huffed asking, "and what should I do with Sally, I don't want to leave her for long?"

Normally, I never cared how long I'd say out but having Sally in my life now. I honestly hated the idea of just leaving her here.

"Bring her!" Phil chuckled excitingly. "I know your bond with her is affecting you. I've been there myself. So I understand you don't want to leave her. I can only insist that she comes. She can explore the garden while we chat. And honestly Cory, you need to get her out. This way she learns her place as a Primary Queen..."

"Yes, I'll bring her," I sighed, cutting him off. I wasn't in the mood for a lecture.

"Splendid!" Grandfather Phil chippered in my ear. "However, I must warn, she'll be the only girl here tomorrow."

"I'm sure she'll be fine," I said, thinking she hasn't made any female companions aside from Maria and she's only just been acquainted with Abby. "What is it that you need to speak with me about?"

"We have more information about Sally being who she is and this will give us a chance to speak with her. The Elders are very curious about their new female relative by marriage."

"Ok, we will all be there together after I meet with the Baron of the west. I'll see you then."

"Looking forward to it," said Phil and we officially ended the call.

Right now I want to turn my mind blank. So I took this moment to look out the window. Already my day for tomorrow will be booked.

I thought when I heard my phone binging off in my hand. I glanced at it and saw further details about what happened with the boys.

No surprise it was Sean that provoked the whole thing. Sean is a 17-year-old, who is a natural leader to the boys around his age. He is Cole's and Gretchen's youngest son. Sean is babied by his mother and beat up by his older brothers Miles and Jett because he has a mouth on him. But that's foreseen when you are being raised with siblings within the same generation. Unlike how it was for me and many others from having their older siblings long gone from under their dad's authority. Just because you have older siblings doesn't mean you were raised together.

After I reviewed the information about the incident. I knew which boys did what and which girls were injured.
