Lilith: daughter of the night

Sarah Thompson a twenty-year-old uni student walked home and threw herself on the bed. Life was never good to her. She is the illegitimate daughter of a well-known politician and is loathed by her family, the only things she can seek comfort from are her books. Her favorite is "The ice saint", she would fall asleep reading the book and today is no different.

A robotic feminine voice said as she started to open her eyes only to be greeted with an unfamiliar scene. Instead of her dorm's white sealing, there was a roof made up of logs, as if she were in a cabin.

"Wahhh", a whale came out as she was trying to say something. Of course, this shocked her but what surprised her more is the fact that she couldn't move any of her limbs or stand up.

"Wahhhh", she cried again. This time it was louder and more uncontrollable than the last time. She then realized something, no longer was she a twenty-year-old woman, but she was a baby. How you may ask? even she didn't have the answer to that.

The robotic feminine voice spoke again.

{I am the heavenly system created by the god of creation who watches over all dimensions that exist in your universe. Due to some minor problems, you were transported to this world and took possession of the vessel used to bind the spirit of chaos and destruction.}

'Wait what do you mean vessel', she asked as she had just realized that she can converse telepathically.

'Ok but, where and who am I?'

{You are in the third world, created by the deity of creation. This is the kingdom of Ivor and you are the daughter of the night, Lilith. Unlike your world, this one utilizes a different power source called mana. Every individual is able to manipulate an element from the six core elements.}

'Ohh, so it's similar to my book. Then I guess there are some rare cases where one can use more than one element right'

A floating window appeared in front of the baby and she carefully read each point.

'I wonder what happened in my previous life, did I die? It's not like anyone would miss me, it'd be best if I detached from that world, she thought before the door burst open.

"Where is the child", a man's voice commanded.

"She's here my lord", a maid said as she hastily snatched her.

The man said as he took the baby and held her dearly.

"Lilith, that's your name. Your mother would have been happy to see how beautiful you are", the man said as his sky-blue eyes gently stared at the girl. The man had short silver hair and a mole under his left eye.

"My dear daughter you look so much like your mother, I'm sorry you have to pay for my and Lillian's sins. I hope you forgive us", he said as he kissed the girl's forehead and placed a moon-shaped pendant around her neck. "Prepare a carriage to head to the east. My daughter's new residence will be Hower castle, make sure to protect her with your life", he told one of the maids before placing the baby in the crib and leaving the room.

"You heard what the lord said. Pack the miss' belongings and let us head to the east", the maid ordered as they scurried around.

'I wonder what his talking about and Scarrow where have I heard that surname', she pondered as she lay on her crib watching everyone rushing around the room.

'That's it. It's the count family from The ice saint. Does this mean this is the world from that book if it is, does it mean I'm that Lilith? The count's illegitimate daughter'

Three years later.

"Miss it's time to wake up", the maid said as she gently shook the small silver-haired girl.

"That's my maid. Exit celestial space", Lilith who looked a little older in the pocket dimension said as the white skies of the dimension disappeared to be replaced by the wisteria-colored walls of her room.

"Miss it's time to get ready", Sophia, Lilith's maid said as she picked the girl up and headed to the shower. After the shower, Sophia dressed the girl in a navy dress and tied her silver hair into two buns.

The girl walked to the dining room of the large mansion to have her breakfast. She sat at the head of the large desolated table. This was already normal for her, eating her meals alone and spending birthdays as well as holidays alone was already normal for her.

This huge mansion belonged to her and her alone. Aside for the maids, no one else lived there.

After her meal, Sophia escorted her on a walk.

"You can leave now, I wanna play alone", her childish voice commanded, and Sophia who was dying to go on her break complied.

As Lilith continued wandering around the forest a rare sight greeted her. There right in front of her was another girl who looked to be around her age. She was crouching down studying the flowers in front of her as her golden locks kept falling on her face.

'Inspect', she thought and the window immediately appeared in front of her.
