Apologies

--- Lunar Mountain's Peak

"Wow. Just wow..."

Jay, Rodrick, Cidney, and Jin were currently waiting for Fenrir since they did not know how to open up the planar gateway. As for how they got on the mountain's peak in just a few minutes was because the moment Jay woke everyone up and told them they needed to climb the mountain, Rodrick suddenly grinned at everyone and used his teleportation ability.

Every time Rodrick used his teleport, everyone ended up flying in the air and every time they were about to fall, Rodrick activated his teleportation again. This routine happened a couple of times and lasted for a couple of minutes since the mountain was too tall.

"By the way, I forgot to remind everyone about something important." Jay said as he looked at everyone. "Ashnakara is an all-female plane."

"You hear that Jin? Maybe you can find your future wife there." Rodrick said jokingly as he patted Jin on his back.

Jin did not say anything but his face started to turn red, like a tomato. When Cidney saw this, she chuckled softly and tried not to laugh loudly.

"Am I supposed to know something?" Jay asked and wondered what was up with the three.

Rodrick suddenly grinned evilly and he told Jay that Jin was a bit weird when it came to females and stuff. Every time a girl approached him or every time he speaks with a girl, Jin's mind breaks down. The only girl he could approach, listen to, and talk with was Cidney for some reason.

"Sir Rodrick... can I stay here with the wolves?" Jin tried his best to speak since he was too embarrassed. And if what Jay said was true, he would probably be very useless when they arrive at Ashnakara.

Jay sighed and started to think of a way so that Jin would have some kind of use. He then had a great idea but wondered if it would work out.

"Guys, if Fenrir arrives and I am still acting like a statue, tell him that I am in meditation." Jay said as he suddenly grabbed Jin by the shoulder.

"I thought of something you could do while we go around Ashnakara later." Jay said as he went to the Mind Room and brought Jin along with him. In fact, this was the first time he tried to let someone besides him enter the mind room normally. During the past, he only stored people or other living beings in the Storage Orb and when he let them out from the orb, the Mind Room's walls and every object turned into black.

...

--- Mind Room

"Frozen Armor. What a nice spell..."

Roasted Boar was currently looking at the spell books at the shelf. The ones he was currently looking at were mostly the spells that Jay created using the Creation Orb, but since he was still new to the Mind Room, he did not know about this.

Then suddenly, Jay and Jin entered and they were currently in the center of the room.

"You again? Are you using this godly tool to make your life easier?" Roasted Boar said with disdain as he looked at Jay and wondered how another person appeared in the Mind Room.

"As much as I want to do so, shit happens. I'm back at this dimension for some reason and I am currently going back to Ashnakara with some people."

When Roasted Boar heard this, he was surprised but he still felt a lot of negative emotions when he looked at Jay.

"Suit yourself. The moment you killed yourself back then, even though we are halves of the same soul, I stopped giving a damn about you." Roasted Boar said as he continued flipping through some spell books like 'Tree of Life,' 'Shadow Reaper,' etc.

"Look, I'm sorry for what I did back then. I know I should have thought and acted better." Jay said as he approached Roasted Boar.

"Apology accepted. But I still do not give a damn about you or what you're planning to do." Roasted Boar returned the spell book he was reading back to the shelf and suddenly grabbed Jay by his shirt's collar.

When Jin saw that things were starting to get nasty, he suddenly grabbed the gun that was hidden on the back of his suit and pointed it at Roasted Boar.

"Don't try anything funny-" Before Jin could even continue speaking, the gun he was holding suddenly melted. It was a good thing that he dropped the melted gun immediately, if not, his entire hand probably might have melted too.

"Fuck off. This is between him and me!" Roasted Boar shouted and used a spell to amplify the sound of his shout, causing Jin to cough up blood and make his ears hurt.

"Jin! Stay back!" Jay shouted and looked at Roasted Boar angrily.

"I don't know why you even came back or what you are planning. But can you please just stop pretending to be the hero?" Roasted Boar said calmly.

"When did I even become a hero anyways? Is it because of my Fatelord title? Besides, I am even more of a janitor. I overestimated myself, and in the end, I was just actually cleaning up the mess of an old man."

Jay pushed Roasted Boar away and massaged his neck.

"Look, I already apologized. I know you still hate me and probably everyone else also feels the same way as you. The least I could do is to make it up to you guys." Jay said softly and tried his best not to fuck up.

"The past is past. Like I said, I don't give a damn about you anymore and this is probably the last time I will talk to you for this long. But since we might encounter each other in this godly tool of yours from time to time, just mind your own business and I'll mind my own." Roasted Boar said as he left the mind room.

"Damn... how the hell should I even make it up to everyone besides a heartfelt apology?" Jay thought to himself.

"Jay? Umm... do you need some time alone? And who was that?" Jin suddenly placed his hand over Jay's shoulder, trying to comfort him for some reason.

"Nah, I'm good. And the person whom I just talked to was Roasted Boar. It's a long story, but let's just say that he and I are halves of a single soul."

Jin was confused with what Jay said, but before he could even ask further questions like why did Jay bring him here or what the hell were they in the first place...

"Jay..."

An bald old man with white robes appeared behind them. It was Hellson, who looked as if he aged a lot since his last encounter with Jay.

"Hellson."

Jay gestured Jin to move aside as he faced Hellson who looked as if he wanted to apologize to him about everything.

"Please forgive me for-" Hellson dropped on his knees and bowed down to Jay to show his sincerity as he apologized. But before he could even continue to speak, Jay interrupted him.

"I forgive you, but I ain't cleaning up your mess anymore." Jay said as he had a weird expression on his face.

"Thank you." Hellson started crying and felt as if the burden in his heart was removed. Ever since he and Jay had a fight because of the dimensional gate stuff, his heart felt so heavy and painful, it was as if a thousand needles stabbed his heart.

"Don't thank me yet. I may have forgiven you, but I won't return becoming the hero who will save the Fatelord Plane. After I make up with everyone who has a grudge against me, I'm gonna stop making a fool out of myself and just find a place to chill for the rest of my life."

"But, but..." Hellson tried to speak out his thoughts but he stopped himself when he realized that Jay was serious about this. But he still can't stop worrying about the Fatelord Plane and the threat he caused because of the dimensional gates he opened up.

"Have you heard of the Gatekeepers?" Jay asked Hellson and told him to stand up.

Hellson shook his head since he did not know who Jay was speaking of.

"They're a small group of people working together to close down the dimensional gates. I don't know how long it would take, but perhaps one of them might be kind enough and close down the dimensional gates you opened up in this dimension."

After saying this, Jay ignored Hellson and spoke to Jin about why he brought him here.
