This is my first time

They reached the place in no time and the road suggested by Jake had lesser traffic. They asked the jailer and she took them to the cell where he was imprisoned.

"So, you murdered that guy? " Miss Dayal asked in a low voice as she sat on one side while the convict sat on the other end of the table. He was still in handcuffs and one of his legs was tied to a cuff that was attached to the ground.

"Yeah." He answered.

"Look at me. " Miss Nair ordered in serious tone but making sure not to scream at him.

The man lifted his head to meet his eyes with her. He looked anxious and nervous. Maybe he wasn't ready for someone to come and ask him questions again after confessing to the crime.

"Now say that again. " She asked as she leaned towards the table.
