Last Day For The Muscle Heads

Somewhere in the Outer layer of the Mystic Forest.

After the three muscle heads completed their training, we went to a location where there gathered many rabbits. The quest that I took was to hunt down fifteen Ylzzig rabbits. It's an easy D rank quest, and a good start to test their abilities and teamwork.

[Conar! There is one behind you!]

[Catch it! Don't let it escape.]

Or so I thought...

[I got one! Argh! It bit me!]

We watched them with a flat expression, me and Rutelae. They were running around everywhere trying to catch any Ylzzig rabbit they see.

*Bang!*

[I missed again? These rabbits are so freaking fast.]

[Hey! What do you think your doing?! I was going to get hit!]

'This is so embarrassing.'

I facepalm as I was trying not to look at the scene in front of me. I thought it would be more easy for them after their hard mode training, but I guess I was wrong.

I looked at the scene again between my fingers. Drone is using wind pressure from his sword to attack the Ylzzig rabbits he sees, but they easily dodged it, and instead his attack destroyed a tree.

*Boom!*

Conar is using the shield and his demi-human strength to attack the rabbits in a group, but he ends up over doing it, crushing them like tomatoes.

*Splash!*

And Nike, he is the only one who can catch a Ylzzig rabbit successfully thanks to his Hunter class and his agility.

[I caught another one- Hey! Watch where you swing your sword idiot!]

I sighed.

These muscle heads have no teamwork at all.

[That's enough! Everyone gather to me!] I used sound magic to increase my voice.

[!!!]

Quickly, they all came standing in front of me.

[Do you need anything Master?!] Drone asked like a soldier.

[Yes. I want you all to hear and remember what I'm about to say.]

I began releasing a cold pressure from my body.

[You guys... Sucks at teamwork.] I said with an annoyance, mix with disappointment expression.

[!!!]

They all got scared and shocked by my words.

'Heh, that's good for them.'

The cold pressure dissapeared and the atmosphere return back to normal.

[That's all. Come on, we are heading back to the city.]

[W-what about the quest?] Nike asked.

[Oh that. I will have someone else doing it.] I said as I looked back at them with a smile.

I then used the familia contract to summon Ginro. A white magic circle appeared on the ground and then a figure of a big wolf appeared.

*Voooom*

Ginro quickly ran to me and began licking my face.

[Yeah yeah, I miss you too buddy.]

[Woof!]

He then looked at Rutelae who is floating next to me.

[No licking.] Rutelae said with a frown as he knew what Ginro was thinking.

Ginro's ears dropped down expressing his disappointment, showing him his puppy eyes, but Rutelae didn't fall for it.

'Fufu, these two are so cute.'

[M-master. W-what is that?] Conar asked while pointing at Ginro. He and the others looked a little scared when they saw him. Thinking that I might make Ginro chase after them like what I did before in the morning.

[This is my familia Ginro. He is a silver moon wolf. Ginro, these are my musc- Ahem! my students. Say Hi to them.]

[Woof!]

They all shivered when he barked.

[Don't worry, he won't bite. Except if I want him to.] I said with a sinister smile.

[Eek!!!]

I send a telepathic comand to Ginro, asking him to catch all the Ylzzig rabbits that are near this area.

[Woof!]

His hole body then began to cover by mana, and then his figure disappeared from our view in a second.

*Sooowf*

One minute later, he came back with twenty five Ylzzig rabbits. He used plant veins magic to tie their legs together after killing them. He must have used light magic beam on the heads to do that, since I and Senoki are the one who taught him how to hunt.

[Good job boy. You can go back now.] I said as I patted his head.

Hearing this, he lowered his ears to express his sadness by showing his cute puppy eyes.

[Aw~]

'Man, he is soooooooo CUTE~'

[Don't worry. I will call you later at night, so you won't get lonely.]

[Woof!]

[Good bye.]

But before he left, he jump and gave a big lick on Rutelae's face before quickly disappearing through the summoning circle.

[Ekk! You- Hey! Come Back Here!]

I chuckled as I watched his reaction.

[Okay come on, we are leaving now.]

It was already 9 am and it will take three hours to reach the city by walking. After we exited the forest I began talking with the boys about the training, and criticizing them about their bad teamwork. I even told them that I will raise the difficulty of the training tomorrow which made them feel very unhappy, and scared.

After entering the city and reaching the guild, I gave the fifteen Ylzzig rabbits to them with the quest and told them to submit it to the reception. They got confused and asked me why, so I answered that it will be a test for them to see if they can show some respect to the receptionist and behave correctly. They quickly understood what I meant, and before they could enter the guild I told them to memorise some words and use them when talking to the receptionist, and I also reminded them that I will be watching them from afar.

Of course, they got the message and entered the guild nervously. Many adventures saw them and began whispering to each other. The big boys didn't pay attention to them because they were focusing on submitting the quest to the receptionist.

Masha, who is a receptionist and also one of Tina's coworkers and friend accepted their submitting quest with a surprised expression. Not only her, but everyone who is looking at them were very surprised by their behavior.

[We would like to submit this quest that we completed. Please.] Drone said with a polite tone.

[... Y-yeah! Sure! of course!]

Masha took the Ylzzig rabbits and the quest, and then came back with a bag of money.

They took the money and thanked the receptionist.

[Thank you my lady, we appreciate it.] He said with a small smile on his face. The other two were smiling too.

Everyone in the guild were completely shocked by what they saw. The three troublemakers who are always shouting and complaining about the unfairness of the payment of a quest, are now showing some manners to the receptionist?!

I smiled as I watched them. I was so Proud of them.

'My three Good students.'

[Pfft.]

I tried to hold back myself from laughing as I kept reading their thoughts.

<Drone: This is so embarrassing! I can't believe I said that! It's master's orders. Urgh! I feel like I want to slam my head on a hard wall.>

<Nike: I can't take it! I feel like I'm going to die from all the stares. Stop looking at me!>

<Coner: Why did I follow them. I could just left them go to the receptionist by themselves. No, master is watching me. If I do that, who knows what kind of punishment I would get.>

Rutelae who is floating next to me looked at me with half eyes.

[Hey, you are making fun of them, aren't you?]

[What are you saying? didn't I say it was a test.] I said with a big smile on my face.

[Hmmm...]

The next day.

Just like yesterday, we started early in the morning and we began running towards the forest. Nike and Conar asked me if I was going to summon a pack of wolves like I did yesterday. I told them no and they sighed in relief.

[Roaaaaar!]

[What the Hell! Why is there a giant tiger chasing us?!]

[Master! I thought you said you won't summon anything?!]

[I didn't say that. I said I won't summon a pack of wolves. But I didn't say I won't summon something else. Anyway, see you guys at the forest.]

I increased my speed and left the three boys alone.

[Roaaaar!]

[DAMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!] They all cursed at the same time.

After they all entered the Mystic Forest, straight away I began the teaching class. The first lesson is hammering some knowledge into their brain. I even created a board using Wood magic for teaching and, also used illusion magic to create a 3D projected image of some wild beast, making it more easy for them to understand. The boys were very hard working that they even took some notes.

One hour and half for knowledge lesson, and after that was the training lesson. Just like yesterday I gave each one of them a different type of training based on their Class. The training will take four hours or five, depends on how good they can complete it. Lastly, after they finish their training task, it will be the hunting quest. I gave them the quest that I took from the guild and made them complete it. The level of the quest is depend on my choice. I could choose which quest they should do and how many.

That is the daily routine that I prepared for them. With this they can get stronger and raise their level in one week.

Of course, I didn't just make all the training hard. Each day the level of the training will increase more and more, adding also some beatings if they complain about it. In another word, I am make it a Painful Hellish Training for them.

Day three.

[Master! Why are you doing this to us?!] Coner asked while running.

[Yes! And what are those things?!] Asked Nike as he looked back.

[Kreeeeee!]

Behind them they were chased by a pack of two legged reptiles, kinda similar to the Velociraptor dinosaur.

[Those are called Wyvern Riper. They are a dragon type beast without wings, and they are known for being fast on foot. You can only find them in the desert. Anyway, see you guys at the end.]

I increased my speed and left them behind, like always.

[Just where does he gets those wild beast from!?] Drone shouted while running.

[Kreeeeeeee!!]

[I Don't Know!] Nike shouted back.

Day four.

[What are you doing? Swing it more hard!] I shouted at Drone.

[Yes Master!]

He was swinging his greatsword while wearing many weight lifting protector which I made it for them using gravity magic and magic runes. The extra weight were 100kg in total.

[Come on Nike! Put more muscle on those legs of yours. Faster-Faster!]

[Hah...I'm trying...Hah.]

Nike was doing the same. He is also wearing some weight lifting protector, most of them are on his legs and foot since his class is a Hunter. His extra weight were 80kg.

[Coner, I CAN NOT Hear You!]

[231!...232!!....233!!!]

As for Coner, he was doing some pushups. His extra weight that I gave him were 160kg.

[I forgot to mention, there will be no lunch break until we return back to the city.]

[WHAT!!!] They all shouted in shock.

[If you want to have your lunch break, then you better finish your training early.]

[But Master, we haven't had breakfast this morning.] Said Nike.

Normally, they would eat their breakfast early before going to the Mystic Forest. But yesterday I told them not to have breakfast for today's special training.

[Then go fasting.] I said to them.

They all had the same expression that they want to cry.

<Drone/Coner/Nike: This is Torture.😭>

Day six.

[Drone, watch out behind you!] Nike shouted at Drone who is confronting a low Grey Wolf.

Another wolf jumped at him from behind, but thanks to Nike's warning he was able to dodge it.

Nike then sliced down the wolf that tried to sneak attack Drone.

[Thanks Nike.]

[No problem man.]

Right then, they both heard Coner calling for them.

[Guys! I need a little help here!]

Coner was confronting three grey wolves alone with his shield and axe.

[I'm on it!] Nike answered.

He dashed to his location to assist him.

Nike's role was to assist both Coner and Drone since he is mush faster than them, and can dodge the enemies attack. His role is basically a Supporter, while Coner and Drone are the Damage Dealers.

[Their teamwork has improved alot.] Said Rutelae next to me.

[True.] I nodded as I watched them hunting six Low Grey Wolves and three medium Grey wolves, which is for today's guild quest.

Day eight.

'Activate Ice magic: 800 Ice needles.'

*Zing-Zing-Zing-Zing-Zing-!*

I used ice magic to attack the boys.

Why? Because it's training.

Today's special training is survival. Their job is to survive from all kinds of attacks that I will throw at them.

*Zing-Zing-Zing-Zing-Zing-!*

*Bang-Bang-Bang-Bang-!*

Multiple big Ice needles are falling down on them at a high speed like rains, but they are able to avoid it.

Drone is enhancing his greatsword with fire magic to block and to counter attack the ice magic. Nike is using his agility and his new Skill that he got "Light Step" to dodge and avoid them. And Coner is using his shield by enhancing it, and also some earth wall magic to block it.

[Hah... hah... hah...]

They all were breathing heavily.

[Good job, now we're moving to the next level.] I said as I raised my hand up into the air, ready to unleash another attack.

[Master, can't you just let us catch our breath for a minute.] Drone asked with some sweat on his face.

I looked at them for a moment before giving them an answer.

[....Nope.]

'Activate ice magic: 1200 ice needles.'

They all gritted their teeth before cursing.

[DAMIIIIIIIT!!!]

Day nine.

Today we are camping in the Mystic Forest.

I planned to make them experience the feeling of living in the wild.

[Master, we took down the boars.]

The boys came back from the hunt with two large boars.

[Good job. Now bring it here, today's lesson is about cooking.]

[...Huh???] They all had a dumbfounded expression.

[What with that stupid look on your faces? I said I will teach you how to cook.]

Right then, Nike asked with a confused expression.

[But...why do we need to learn how to cook? We could just buy-]

*PAM!*

I hit him with the pan on the head.

[What kind of dumb question is that. I'm teaching you how to cook so you can cook what you hunted. Do you want to eat it in raw? Also, buying food is a waste of money. Sometimes It's better you get your own food.] I said as I prepared all the ingredients.

I then began cooking while showing them the way to cook.

[See? It's so easy.]

In less than four minutes I finished making one dish. A fried boar meat with some sauces. They looked at the dish with awo, and their mouth were drowning from the smell.

[This is my food. If you want to try, then cook it by yourselves.] I said to them.

They all got disappointment and began cooking. I then began guiding them.

[Wrong wrong, you're cutting it all wrong.]

[Nike, use your water magic to clean the meat.]

[Drone, your putting to much heat on the meat, reduce the fire.]

[That's it. Good good, very Good.]

Six minutes later, they successfully made their own dishes. The three muscle heads looked at their food that they cooked with a suprise and a happy expression.

We all then began eating together, enjoying our food, chatting and drinking.

[Xora, what about my food?] Just then, Rutelae came from behind me.

"Go make it by your self." I answered through telepathy.

[Eh?!]

"I'm joking~ Here you go." I gave Rutelae some of my meat that I cooked.

He quickly ate it with a happy face.

'This little guy. One day, I will teach him how to cook.'

I said in my mind while remembering something from the past.

[.....Emergency food.] I murmured in a low voice.

[Whad?] Rutelae asked with a mouthful look.

[It's nothing.] I said with a smile.

Day eleven.

It is the last day I'm teaching, so I prepared a final exam for them. It's not so hard, just a normal hunting quest. The task that I gave them was to hunt down a wild bear, which is somewhere near  the middle area of the Mystic Forest, at the edge of the outer layer. All they need to do is find where it lives, track it down, kill it, and then bring it back to me.

[We'll do It!!!]

Unsurprisingly, they accepted the task without complaining.

Before they left, I gave them a dimensional storage bracelet, so that they can store the bear's body inside when they finish. I bought it yesterday for eleven golden coins, which was expensive despite it was the cheapest one that I could find in the city. Unlike my storage ring, it can only contain 10 things, and the maximum weight is 100kg.

After sending the guys off, I opened Senoki's holographic screen to watch them. Rutelae joined in, and the both of us were eating some Tacos while watching.

[Hey Xora, are they going to be alright?]

*munch-munch*

[They will.]

[What makes you so sure?]

[Senoki.]

[....Riiiiiight.]

*munch-munch*

About an hour later, they finally found a wild bear, two of them. Thanks to the knowledge that I taught them, they were able to found them.

[What should we do? There are two of them.] Nike asked in a whisper.

They were all hiding in the bushes, far away from them. Because the wild beast that they are about to face is a C rank beast, and they just became a high rank D in level yesterday, thanks to my hellish training.

[...We'll try take them both.] Drone answer after some thoughts.

[What! Are you crazy? We can't take down two C rank beast. If it's only one then it's possible, but two...] Nike tried to make him rethink that idea, but another voice came from Coner.

[I agree with Drone. We should try killing them both.]

[W-wha... come on guys, are you two serious!?] Nike asked with a disbelieve.

[I am serious.] Drone answered with a grin.

Coner too nodded to him.

[Huuuuh... it seems Master's training really did affect both of your brains.] Nike said with a sigh.

[So, what's the plan?] Drone asked as he and Coner were both looking at Nike.

During their hunt in the forest together, they found out that Nike is the best one in coming up with plans. So they let him do the most thinking. But that didn't mean both Drone and Coner wouldn't use their brains, because after they agreed that Nike is more suitable for making plans and strategy for the team, I ordered both Drone and Coner to train their brain by thinking on how to lead and managing their team. In the end, they agree that Drone is suitable to lead the team during battle, while Coner is better at supporting the team as a tanker.

After 2 minutes of discussion between the three, they finally started to make their moves and began moving around the bushes.

After each one of them took their position, surrounding the two wild bears in a triangle, the first one to make the first move was Coner.

He came out from the bushes, hitting his shield with his axe to attract their attention.

*Clang-Clang!*

[Over here you ugly bear!]

*Roooooooar!*

The first bear tried to attack Coner with its claws, but he blocked it with his shield. The second bear then came after from behind to attack, but was interrupted by Drone who did a wind slash with his greatsword.

*Swoosh!*

[Your opponent is me big guy!]

*Rooooooar!*

With that, it was two vs two. Next was Nike's turn. He came out from his hidden spot and run straight to the 2nd bear that was fighting Drone. Using his two daggers that are covered with poisons, he slashed the bear's legs.

*Slash!* x7

[Roooooooooar!]

It roared in pain and tried to turn around to see who was attacking him, but Drone didn't let it do that.

[Hey dump-ass! Where are you looking?!]

*Slash!*

[Rooooooooooooar!]

The plan that they made was to distract the wild bears, separating them from each other, and then fight it head on, while Nike sneaks behind its blind spot and slashing its legs with poison. The poison was made from multiple poisonous herbs that is harmful to the wild beast only. I taught him how to make them and how to make medicine from different kinds of herbs that can be found in the Mystic Forest. Of course, I only taught him about poisons that doesn't kill people and less harmful. I don't want to be responsible if he accidentally poison some innocent people in the future, or if he became a criminal. Still, I was able to Educate him perfectly so he wouldn't do something stupid like that.

[Now Drone!] Nike shouted.

The wild bear fell down on the ground because its legs already got paralyzed from Nike's poisonous attack. He then shot two water bullets at the bear's eyes, blinding them. Lastly, Drone enhanced his greatsword with Sharpness and Heat magic, and then sliced its head off.

*Slice!*

Drone took some moment to catch his breath, but Nike already left him and went to help Coner who is still holding his ground against the other bear.

[Come on! Coner needs help.]

[Hah... alright.]

As Coner was still blocking all the bears attack with his shield and his earth wall, Nike came behind it and began slashing its legs.

*Slash!* x2

[Roooooooar!]

It roared in pain and looked back at his attacker, but was met with a fire slash from Drone.

[What's up fur ball!] Drone scream at it.

[What took you guys so long?] Coner asked them with alot of sweats on his face.

[Sorry, the bear had a strong poison resistance, so it took more time to kill it.] Nike answered.

And with that, the three were able to out match the last bear, and it only took them ten minutes to subjugate them.

[They won.] Rutelae said after looking at me.

[Yeah. With that, they ended the exam.] I said before closing the holographic screen.

48 minutes later they came back with a happy expression on their faces. They then took out the bodies from the storage bracelet to show me.

[Master, we have completed the task.] Drone reported to me.

[I can see that.] I answered as I looked at the two headless bodies.

[Congratulation, you guys passed the final test.]

They all cheered happily.

[With this, I don't think I have anything more to teach.]

When they heard me say those word, their expression turn a little sad. Seeing that, I was going to hit them on the head for showing a pathetic face, but fortunately, Drone was the first to speak.

[Master, we would like to thank you for the lessons that you taught us over the last days.]

Nike and Conar also nodded their heads.

They all then bowed their heads at me.

[Thank you for everything you taught us.]

[[Thank you Master!!!]]

I scoffed a little when I saw that. They really did grow up. After accepting their thanks, we all sat down to eat together. Drone tried to give me back the dimensional storage bracelet, but I told them it was my gift for completing the final test. Tears began to show from their eyes after I said that, and they started to thank me again, more and more.

After we finished eating, we prepared to head back to the city, but before leaving I gave the three boys one last parting gift.

[Master, what is this?]

Drone looked at the crystal ball that I gave him.

[It's a new item that I created. What it can do is attracting any wild beast that's about 230m radius near by.]

[....huh???] They all looked at me with a dumbfounded expression.

Right then, we all heard multiple voices and roars around us that are coming close. The sound of trees and the ground shaking was enough to give them a hint of what I meant.

[Anyway, good luck on coming out alive.] I smiled at them.

I then used space magic to teleport myself out from the forest.

*Wooosh!*

The three boys looked pale after I left, and they all took out their weapons and took their positions. Coming out from the bushes, they saw some grey wolves, black Hyenas, grey leopards, line jaguars, and serials. They were all surrounded by multiple D rank wild beast.

Seeing all of this, the three boys gritted their teeth. In their eyes, they didn't feel scared or despair. No, what their eyes showed was rage.

[DAMNIIIIIIIIT!!!]

Meanwhile, I was walking  back to the city, while humming Ayaka's song.

[Humm, humm, humm, hum, hum...]

I turn my eyes to the side and looked at Rutelae who was staring at me with a frown.

[What? If you have something to ask then ask.]

He took some moment before calling my name.

[....Xora.]

[Yes?]

[...Your Evil.]

I just shrugged to his comment.

'At least he didn't say I'm a Monster or a something.'

What about You guys? you don't think I'm evil right? I mean, it's true that what I did was awful back there, but I also put some safety measures just in case they don't die. You see, before leaving, I send a message to Ginro, telling him to keep an eye on them, and prevent any wild beast above D rank from getting near them. So I don't need to be worried about them.

Two days later.

At a well known Tavern where alot of adventures likes to go, I was there in the morning for a meeting. There, I was hearing many rumors and talks about the three boys.

[Hey, did you hear? Apparently those three troublemakers were able to subjugate a C rank wild beast yesterday.]

[What? That's impossible. Those three idiots can't pull something like that. I don't believe it.]

[I heard about it too. One of my friends saw them a few days ago training and hunting in the Mystic Forest. He told me there was someone else with a white hair monitoring them, giving them orders.]

[I'm telling you it's true. I was really surprised at that time. They literally Help the old man push his carriage that was broken, all the way to the city. You can try asking the city gate's guard. Many people were there at that time.]

[To think they would change to 180 degree. I didn't believe it at first, but after seeing them and asking some people about them, I found out that they got some re-edication by an adventure. To think that he was able to teach them some manners. The kid is definitely from a high noble.]

Many talks could be heard around me, but my focus was on the person who invited me to come here. The person was Mr Ade. You know him right? He and his friend Davy asked my help for scouting the forest when I joined them on a hunting quest.

I looked at the middle age man who was sitting on the opposite side of the table.

[It seems those guys reputation will change to the better. I still don't know how you did that.] He said after taking a big gulp from his beer.

[Well, I taught them the same way my Teacher taught me.] I answered while drinking my apple juice.

I can't drink an alcohol yet because of my age, but I can drink it since my brain is immune to poison. But that doesn't mean I want to drink a wine or beer. It's not that I dislike it or something like that, it just... I can't do it. Maybe because of my habbit of following the rules of my previous world. That's why I will wait until I reach fifteen, which is only one year. Nah, I'm actually not very interested on trying it.

[So, what did you call me here for?] I look at him with a half eyes. The man looked a little hesitate.

[Ah... Well... you see... I would like your help on teaching me and the party about the Mystic Forest.]

I raised my eyebrows when I heard that.

[Why me?]

[You know why. Other than the guild, you are the most knowledgeable person who knows alot about the Mystic forest. Me and Ade have seen your abilities when we formed a party together, remember.]

I already knew that at one point this will happen, but I didn't expect it to be so soon. Seems more works will come up.

I looked at him in the eyes and asked him...

[Is that all? I'm sure there must be someone who told you about my knowledge, and maybe, about my Ways of teaching. Right?]

Davy scratch his head a little before giving me the answer.

[Well... someone actually did. And it was your students. Last night they were here, talking about you while they were all drunk.]

*silence*

I was disconnected from the conversation for a moment, because I was trying to process what I just heard.

Davy looked very worried, because he thinks that I will get angry, if I find out what were those three idiots talking about. Well, he is half correct.

<Davy: Crap, should I tell him that his students were talking Bad things about him?>

[Mr Davy.] I called his name with a smile and with my eyes closed.

[!...Yes.]

[Can you please tell me, how Many bottles did they drank yesterday?]

[... huh?... yeah sure.]

'I swear, the Amount of money they spent, will be the amount of the monsters that I will send to them.'

I said Monsters, not Wild beast.

- Wyvern Riper is from the same type of dragon species but with no wings, kinda similar to the Velociraptor. They are fast and likes to live in a hot places like the desert. They can also survive for five months without eating. Some of them would eat one of their own kind, if they feel like they are hungry and there were no food, but they only will attack the weakest one in the group. They were given the D rank level.

- The magic item that Xora gave to Drone to attract the wild beast was actually a prototype, because Xora needed new ways to get stronger and to hunt faster. He came up with the idea of creating a magic item that can make the wild beast and monsters come to him, instead of going around, looking for them. And that's with the help of Senoki ofcourse.

- Serial is a D rank wild beast. A big cat similar to the cheetah, but with silver fur. What's unique about it is that its fur can glow in the darkness, make it looks cool and scary during the night.
