the Guard got screamed by Juton because he dare to ask who they are "ARE YOU FUCKING BLIND? OPEN THE FUCKING GATE NOW" he scream still anger and guilt fill his eyes.
having heard the news of the Lord condition from the black eagle, Yue and Taidu already prepare the room and inside of it are 2 of most skilled physician in the Long estate, Sulan who is busy in her study room arranging the month report are called by the guard having been informed that the lord is Back
running trough the hall Sulan ready to welcome Lingxu but what she saw is not the same calm and serene man she always admire but a bloody mess of a man with cut all over his armor and blood covering his body and face.
with Feng still has tears in his eyes and Juton having bloody head and his tears never stopped flowing Sulan run to the soldier carrying Lingxu
"Wha... what happened?" Sulan place her hand on Lingxu chest feeling its heart beat but making her white hanfu get red by the blood
Feeling her hand, Lingxu grab her hand weakly amidst all the pain "calm down Sulan, its a minor wound, and you *Cough cough* Will you guys stop crying i am not dead, Juton go have your wound fixed" said Lingxu still trying to have his usual calm voice but the pain in his voice are evident
Yue Sulan and Taidu waits inside while the physicians took out the arrow and the other one stitching the wound and treating it
Lingxu grunt in pain and seeing his companion watch with worry in their eyes make him want to tease them
"ack ahhh I'm dying, *Cough cough* Taidu, please take care of the family, Sulan ohh how I wish to see your red face once more ahh i'm dying" said Lingxu
"Now that I hear that I really did want you die brother, can you stay still and just go back to your usual cold face you freaking idiotic ice block" said Taidu wiping his eyes seeing his brother still have the energy to jokes around
Sulan seeing it just smile even with tears still running trough her face but the worry in their eyes is gone for a little bit
"My lord, you need 2 month rest and avoid any heavy activities for 3 month full, I forbid you to even train for the whole month cause it might open the wounds, you sure are blessed that the sword did not puncture your organ and barely missed it" said one of the physicians
having seen they are done Juton and Feng come inside the room and see the lord laying down in the bed with guilt in their eyes Juton even when he get stitches in his head did not flinch even the slightest but after seeing his Lord wound he instantly becomes weak like the pain is all over his body
While doing that Feng and Juton kneel down "Lord Taidu, please punish us for our incompetence of not be able to protect the Lord" said both of them together knowing that Lingxu will not punish them
"Hahhh, you know you guys are sure stubborn ass hell, its my brother fault to be like this and you have already did your best to save him and bring him in time, even Feng who sill have brain managed to patch him up saving his life in the way" explain Taidu.
"go and rest, let my Brother rest too and don't delve too much into it, go and train hard to a point where he will be useless in the battlefield" ordered Taidu after it
both Juton and Feng walk back to their house filled with regret while Yue and Taidu excuse them self leaving Sulan sitting beside the Lord with tears in her eyes.
"there there, I survive didn't I so stop crying you cry baby" said Lingxu patting Sulan head which make her cry even more, making Lingxu gave up and just let her hold his hand while crying.
with Lingxu is in the state where he cant even stand properly all of the management fell upon Taidu with the daily report and also some paperwork that need to be done.
"here you go Lord Taidu, all this you need to sign using the Long Family stamp, and this one you can use yours or Lingxu-Sama stamp, and this one is letter from some family that you need to read and reply if needed" said Yue with 2 servant bringing another pile of paper work
"Wha?!.. wait... wait, I never seen my brother office to be this filled and hectic, you purposely give me more work that I needed to do don't you Yue?!" said Taidu clearly annoyed by all of the paper work
"My lord with all due respect and to not compare you with Lord Lingxu but... you never seen it because lord lingxu handle it fast and precise which is something I will never expect out of you, and also Lord Lingxu is decisive without needing me to assist you on making some decision so, did that explain it to you?" said Yue with a smile
"ACK!!" Taidu felt like his heart just got stab 5 times in a row by what Yue just said, but he cannot refute, his brother is all in all too talented at everything, and his only talent is his spear and also commanding abilities which rivals even Lingxu
"ckckck having such talented brother sometimes really did make one jealous didn't it? even so... I really am proud to have him as my brother, I hope he get better soon HUAAAAAA" lament Taidu while doing the Paper work that seems endless
