"It is not Mega Smash Entertainment but HBYE Label now."

Oh Min-Cheol just waved his hand when she said it.

"Yes… Yes… Mega Smash or HBYE both are same."

"No, both are not the same thing. Mega Smash Entertainment is a subsidiary company under HBYE Label. The agency known as HBYE Label contains three more subsidiary companies similar to Mega Smash."

"Ok, I get you daughter … but as far as I know HBYE Label does not accept any girl idol trainee. Wouldn't be better for you to go for a normal route to join HBYE Label like study well in school so that you can go into a good university and get a degree. Then join HBYE Label like a normal employee by giving a interview. It would be easier to get information about your brother from the administrative side than the CREATIVE side. And before I forget why is your score lower than your previous one in your last exam conducted by your school?"

Oh Min-Hee stared at her adoptive father for a while. Then she sighed and replied.

"Dad… you know that I can't concentrate on academics right now. Even though I'm smart and talented, I can do so much with my limited time. I have to go to a dance academy, singing academy, take both English and Japanese classes and let's not forget about the acting classes I have joined a few months back. Therefore … "

"Wait… hold up… I understand about the other classes which you take but why the acting class. I know that it is not a requirement for idols to be good at acting. It would look nice on an idol's portfolio but strictly its a whole different route. Why are biting more than you can chew? Don't forget why you are doing all of this. Strictly speaking you want to be an idol trainee and not an idol per se. You are basically like a spy who is going undercover as an idol trainee so that you can dig up information about what really happened to your brother inside that agency. All this preparation that we are taking for you is so that you can pass their audition without a hitch."

"I know… "

"Let me finish young lady. You were already ready a few months back but we are waiting for this damn agency to allow girls for auditioning. Will this agency allow the girls to audition because if they not allow it, let's say for two more years, your preparations will be for naught."

"Let's ease your prevalent concern for now dad. The HBYE Label announced global auditions for girls who want to be a trainee under them this coming October. I will participate in that and do my best to get selected as a trainee for them. If I don't get selected in this coming audition and the auditions conducted by them next year, I will voluntarily give up on being an idol trainee and follow the normal route as you suggested."

"It's a relief to know that you are somewhat still sane in that head of yours."

Oh Min-Hee glared towards her adoptive father but he continued.

"I've never seen anyone who would go to such lengths in your day and age. It is rather commendable because it takes sheer will, determination and perseverance to do what you are doing and you don't even know whether you will succeed in this endeavor or not."

Oh Min-Hee glaring eyes became hollow as though something is broken inside her when he said that. The she said in a somber voice.

"This is the least I could do for my brother who is not among the living."

Oh Min-Cheol perceived the change in atmosphere and thus changed the topic.

"The food is getting cold. Let's finish it."

Oh Min-Hee just nodded and started to eat the remaining food. Oh Min-Cheol looked towards her adoptive daughter with tender eyes and said in carrying tone.

"Oh Min-Hee, don't forget that you will always have a back to lean on when things get tough."
