Rain Mercer, a man who always had wanted to help, was too weak and too sick. Gets a second chance, just so he can help others, so he can help those he decides to deserve help. First World: HOTD First Class: Rogue This is a novel more for people who like 'Good' people? The MC will be kind, but he will not interact much with the main characters of the worlds he visits, he plans to play a more side role, so if it isn't your thing, please move on. The MC will handhold some people, but when he is not helping the main cast in their story, he is exploring, learning, and living his new life to the fullest. (Just because he is kind, does not mean he is forgiving or weak.) Most stories will be an AU, as I shape them to better make sense to myself, and to just enjoy being the 'good' guy.
When his eyes opened once more he was floating in space. Distracted by the beauty of it all around him he turned to look. Before him was a screen, for now, it simply said one thing.
[Name?]
"Rain Mercer."
[Name Accepted.]
[This is the only time the system will interact with the user outside of missions, interface, and details.]
[First to give a tutorial on the system and how it is used.]
[First information to note is the system can be used by thinking, no need to use your voice or hands to control its features or interface.]
[Second comes to its features and what it offers.]
A large screen appeared, a list appearing.
[Status] To check current information pertaining to you as a whole, including health, mana, equipment, level, class, and other information about your health.
[Inventory.] An infinite space that allows you to store items, can not store living things.
[Missions] A place where personal goals will appear, given rewards depending on the goal. Along with daily quests, and 'Event' quest that will appear determined by the system itself
[Shop] A shop that allowed you to use coins to purchase items. Ranging everywhere from everyday items and food, all the way to god-like equipment from all faces of worlds and their creations.
[Skills] The tab you can go to look at all your acquired skills, along with the ability to turn them off or even adjust their mastered level. A note that you are not able to force a skill above your mastered level, you must bring them to mastery yourself, then once you do so you can lower the levels.
[Travel Function.] How you will gain access to other worlds as your strength grows.
[More options and tabs will become available as you grow in strength and as the system itself grows.]
[Any questions?]
''None, all pretty self-explanatory.''
[Next up is Character Creation.]
The screens from before disappeared, now stood what Rain would've looked like if he was healthy and worked out. Standing 6' 4', with dark brown hair that almost looked black, deep green eyes and a rather handsome appearance all be it a bit pale. He was able to see himself as a whole, from the smallest blemish to how large his penis was.
He began to adjust minor things, making his skin darker so it wasn't so pale, darkening it to a good tan. Filling out his body a bit more to be less slim. A tattoo over his left lower abdomen represents the kindness shown to him by both Life and Death.
Able to use a clothing preview he found himself enjoying how he would look and once he clicked confirm his body shifted to match the creation. As he began to examine himself, poking at his body and examing the tattoo to see how it came out in person, he looked great.
Looking up to the screen a different screen was there, with only three options and a explanation of all three.
[Warrior]
[Mage]
[Rogue]
Without needing to look at the description he instead asked. ''Does the specifics of the class change depending on the world I choose first?'
[Yes.]
''If I finish leveling a class, will I be able to level up others?''
[All classes you unlock through actions, skills, or certain conditions that have been met can all be leveled up.]
"Then I choose Rogue, I've always wanted to sneak around.''
[Now, for the final option, what world do you wish to begin in?]
[Highschool of The Dead.]
[Location?]
"Where the Anime first starts."
[Time?]
''Time... Two years before canon starts, that will give me enough time to get used to my body, work out properly, and train some of my skills up to prepare for the zombies. It also allows me to get to know some of the cast."
When he finished speaking, the stars began to move as his eyes grew heavy once more, as he became tired Rain laughed, muttering to himself. ''On the road again."
