Remembering

"So, You were saying I live in this mansion and I actually do some stupid things on where I removed my memory?" Ryan asks, strolling around the mansion.

There's a feeling of excitement, of anticipation as he stares at every room that's not locked. His eyes flick from the door to the bathroom door and then over to his bedroom door to the hall. He doesn't feel any fear or anxiety.

"You know?, In our house, We are just close to each other in terms of bed. This is purely my dream. I don't even know if I would believe." Ryan says while being amazed.

He steps into his bedroom, which feels like an adventure. The furniture looks so new. So elegant with everything in it. There's a vanity table and a closet, an ornate dresser and an antique armor... the whole thing was made to look fancy, but Ryan can still see that it had been made for comfort. He turns off the lights and closes the blinds before taking out his phone.

"Mr Ryan, Here's your suits." Mr. Ignacio says giving Ryan a suit.

"Suit?, I'm sorry, but I don't like suits." Ryan says politely, even bowing his head to show aspects of denying.

"Pardon?, If that's what you want, then it's fine sir." Mr. Ignacio states, leaving out of the room.

Ryan puts on the suit and takes off the jacket. He goes over to the window looking down onto a courtyard. It's dark outside except for the streetlights illuminating it. Then Ryan goes and checks the clock.

12:30pm. Ryan sighs and sits on the edge of the bed.

"Why are you mute?, David? David is your name, right?" Ryan asks the just quiet David.

David proceeds to walk around and touch some small miniscules of the wooden anime figurines.

"Well, I am just wondering. Please don't hesitate to explore the mansion, of course not limited to your room." David explains.

Ryan proceeds to walk around the mansion. They arrived at David's room.

Ryan is amazed in David's room. The whole room is filled of Ninja stuffs. An entire wall of ninja equipment is lined up, the other is covered in posters depicting various ninjas with varying techniques. There's a desk, a chair, and a chest, all done in white. The walls were painted in red and black Ninja gear. And there was a mirror hanging above the desk.

"Wow…" Ryan says, looking around the place. "This room is astonishing. You have quite an impressive collection." Ryan says, admiring the collection of Ninja items in front of him.

"Let's say I'm still the Ryan you have in here. How do I treat you before?" Ryan asks. David just fell in a silent state. Can't say what he wanted to. Can't say how Ryan treated him.

"It's fine if you wanted to avoid talking. I maybe a bad person to you. I'm sorry." Ryan states exiting the room.

Ryan enters the kitchen. Everything is beautiful in the kitchen. The stove was shiny, the appliances looked clean, the fridge has no visible stains. All the drawers look brand new. The floor seems to have never been cleaned. Everything smells good, fantastic.

Althea saw them and startled. "Oh!, Ryan and David. I didn't see you the whole day. You guys hungry ?" Althea asks.

Ryan smiles and gladly says, "Well, I'm hungry, what you got here?"Ryan added, "Can I know your name?"

Althea is confused, He thought Ryan knew it already, or maybe he is just playing pranks.

"Althea." She replies and looks at David, who is still silent. "What's wrong, David?, Do you have a problem?" Althea asks concerned.

David walks over to the refrigerator and grabs something. "No."

Althea notices his expression and asks curiously, "You want food?"

"Yessss." Ryan answers excitedly and sits down next to the fridge.

She opens the refrigerator, pulling out the food that David requested.

"So this is where you are the whole time." David says, sitting next to Ryan.

Althea cooks the food, "Yeah, I've been fascinated by this world that there are such ingredients here. Cause in our world almost all vegetation is affected."

"A lot of maids and butlers here are actually caring and friendly. They taught me some recipe and how to cook even without stove or gasoline." Althea added smiling.

After she finishes cooking, she hands the food to Ryan. Ryan takes a bite and moans loudly. He licks his fingers clean and makes sure to lick the grease off the plate. It was delicious. He's sure that Althea's cooking must be great. He can tell that she has a knack for cooking. She has such passion, her voice rings clearly through the kitchen. Her voice isn't too loud, either. She uses a soft tone instead of yelling. That's why when she laughs, the sound is so nice.

Ryan eats the rest of the food quickly. He didn't realize how hungry he was. He wants to eat more. But Althea reminds him that they should go to the dining room. They walk out of the kitchen, following Althea and David.

The dining room looks pretty delightful. Althea tells them to make themselves comfortable while she places the dishes in the sink. Althea comes back after drying the dishes and places two cups of coffee, one cream and one sugar on the coffee table. Then she returns to the kitchen to prepare another serving of food. Ryan sits down opposite of David and starts to eat the food Althea cooked for the both of them.

"Why aren't you eating her serving, David?" Ryan asks, but David is just mesmerizing Ryan's face.

"One serving of your food, please!" Sinzu shouts, entering the dining hall while wearing a Pajama. He spots Ryan eating and immediately sits next to them. Ryan looks at him and immediately runs as he aims the fork in Sinzu. Sinzu laughs heavily that Althea notices him.

"Calm down, I am not going to hurt you!" Sinzu Laughs.

Voogd enters next, startling them.

"I thought you are hibernating Voogd?" David asks.

"I do, But my body is already adapted to Grima's temperature." Voogd says, looking at Ryan.

"What the fuck is that dog!" Ryan shouts.
