A large explosion resounded out in a lush jungle filled with huge trees.
Me:*cough....cough*''I could only cough as blood filled my lungs due to all the gunshots I had sustained during my last stand against these damn terrorists.
I couldn't believe that I was about at such a young age of 16.A time when I should be doing normal teen stuff and not jumping in guns blazing against suicidal pricks.
The last explosion had taken my left arm and leg but I somehow managed to survive,which was not a good thing on my part because I was the last one remaining from my squad during this mission and I looked like two face due to the burns.
Me:Hahahaha.....*cough cough*''I could only laugh outloud while coughing mouthfuls of blood.
Looking back at my life I had nothing to my name and no one to go back to since I didn't know my parents,they sold me to a military facility for some extra cash.
I had hated them all my life but now that I'm going to die all of my hate and anger was nowhere to be found I was only filled with happiness that my suffering would soon end.
My vision became darker as my body became colder and colder'Is this death?'It felt warm and gentle so I accepted my fate and closed my eyes with a large smile on my face.

I checked my surroundings and found myself standing in some kind of room,the room was dimly lit with a cold white floor and a system of monitors in the middle other than that there was nothing.
I looked at myself only to realize that I was nothing but a mass of gold coloured conciouseness.
Me:Is this a soul?''It honestly felt wired since I didn't have any feet or hands,I found it odd that I didn't panick either since this was clearly abnormal.
But maybe this was just how the afterlife looked,I shrugged off my thoughts and floated towards the monitors.
When I was hovering just a few meters before them,they hummed to life,'Maybe I can watch anime on this.'I was I huge anime fan during my life since it could help me forget all those lives I had snuffed and I always felt it was better than going to some shrink to tell me what I already knew that I was broken..
The computer thingy lit up the whole room before dimming down.A hologram of different shapes came out before rushing towards me.
Me:Ahhhhhhhh''I screamed in pain as my whole soul felt like it was being torn apart.After a few minutes of me grunting and graoning,the pain subsidded and I finally closed my eyes to rest.

I heard a voice revibrate throughout the whole room before I shut my eyes and everything went dark.
