Daiymo official says " Now for the last agenda of today's meeting selecting the new Hokage. The candidates are Orochimaru-sama, Uchiha Fugaku, and Namikaze Minato..."

Sandaime-sama intervenes with the official by saying "Uchiha Fugaku has resinceded his name from the candidacy of Hokage ".

Daiymo asks " why would one take back their name from the candidacy for the Hokage position, is there something that I should know".

Daiymo asked because he had known how the Uchiha are being persecuted by the higher up of the village, he did not concern about Uchiha or anyone he just wanted his reign to be well and nothing should go up and down in his reign.

He was just worried if the higher up of the village pressured Uchiha too much then they might rebel against the Konoha or even the Fire nation. It is just like the saying 'the cornered rat will bite the cat'.

"It was due to his personal reasons that he renounced his name for the Hokage candidacy. He has personally told me, and there is nothing that is kept secret from you," said Sandaime-sama implying that there is no need to worry about anything the daimyo.

"So the candidates for the next Hokage position are Orochimaru-sama and Namikaze Minato-san".

Daiymo asks sandaime " so who do you think is suitable for the position of 4th Hokage??".

"I think Namikaze Minato is suitable for the position of the 4th Hokage, in the recent war he has emerged as War Hero, better known as Yellow Flash. He has mastered the ninjutsu of 'Flying Thunder God' the jutsu created by and the sole user 2nd Hokage Senju Tobirama. He has a good battle record of defeating the 1000 shinobi of Iwagakure single-handedly and he is my grand student".

" He is too young to hold such an important position as the Hokage ". Said Danzo.

" I recommend that Orochimaru should be the 4th Hokage, he smart, and capable ninja who has not only in this war but in previous war also he has shown his mantle, by the time Orochimaru had got the title of Snake Sannin Minato was just a child at that time, and Orochimaru is your student. Hiruzen are you saying that your grand student is better than your student". Danzo said this so that he can give rise to the tensions between Hiruzen and Orochimaru.

"As the master of Orochimaru I know him better than you, I know he is a powerful and well-respected ninja of the village but he lacks some quality of the Hokage which is why he is not suitable for the position of 4th Hokage".

"And for him being young to hold his position as 4th Hokage you don't have to worry about that as a retired Hokage I will be there all the time to help him whenever he requires my assistant".

"Ok, now let's hold the votes for the 4th Hokage position".

All of the officials and higher-ups of the village and Fire Nation voted for the 4th Hokage seat. Due to Minato being supported by Sandaime most of the vote went in the favor of Minato even when knowing well that he is going to become the youngest Hokage ever, some of the clever people present here knew very well that even when Sandaime is going to retire, but most of the power of the village will be still in his hand. Minato is just a puppetry figure meant to sit on the seat of Hokage but the actual power will be in the hands of Sandaime.

After seeing the results of the vote Daiymo declares that the 4th Hokage will be Namikaze Minato(Yellow Flash).

After this, the meeting of the Konoha village and Fire nation was over all of the Konoha shinobi went back to the Konoha but Orochimaru went separate from the Konoha shinobi he left the Konoha shinobi saying that he is going to take a break from the shinobi activities.

This was all ruse just so that he can develop his power and take revenge against his master Hirizen Sarutobi. For that first, he will have to speed up his research project.

From the capital of Fire Nation, Orochimaru leaves towards one of his hideouts.

The news of Minato being appointed as the 4th Hokage is announced by the Hokage office and the retirement of Hiruzen is also announced. The villagers were all in the mood for celebration.

The ninshu training is postponed to a week later because of the inauguration of the 4th Hokage.

In the afternoon all of the villagers went to the Hokage building. On the terrace of the Hokage building Sandaime gave a speech about the will of fire, after that he passed his Hat of Hokage to the Minato and appointed him as the 4th Hokage.

Minato gave his own small speech regarding Konoha and it's future development.

After the appointment of Minato as the 4th Hokage lot of restructuring and other meetings were held so all the time Itachi was bored because there was no one to interact with except Mikoto who also would remain most of the time in the house because of the pregnancy only during the evening would both of them would go for a small walk so that Mikoto does not get bored by just staying in the home, this most of his time Itachi spent with Mikoto feeling the motherly love from the Mikoto.

After a week time, most of the higher-up meetings were over so now the practice of ninshu can be restarted, Itachi was itching to get this practice successful because think about it, the ninshu was introduced by the sage of six paths but 'Asura' was the one who was able to use the ninshu well to make himself powerful by the help of his friends, family, and comrades.

I think in background black Zetsu must have manipulated the other nations to end the Senju, Uzumaki, and for the Uchiha clan he must have manipulated the Konoha higher ups, see how one by one the powerful clans were able to make their name as formidable clans in the time 'Sengoku jidai' were just reduced to single or handful of shinobi so that the reincarnation of the Asura and Indra can be controlled very well because the plan of reviving the Kaguya was in final step because of Madara, the only unwanted factors would be the reincarnation of Asura and Indra who could foil his plans so black Zetsu must have been the mastermind behind the annihilation of the Senju, Uzumaki, and Uchiha.
