"I---hai---can't go on…."

"Water.... I need water"

I was running inside the forest while being chased by dozens of people. I was panting and I was thirsty. I tried looking for water but then I realized I didn't have water with me. I looked back and shouted, "What kind of morons tries to kill their hero after summoning them?"

Unfortunately, they couldn't hear me or I think they choose to ignore my words. But, this is what I have to deal with now. I am in the middle of a forest, running away from a group of soldiers who are well trained. And, for the god sake, I don't know why I am running so fast.

I was literally running twice as fast as when I was on earth. I was also thirsty. I couldn't help but look for a water source around me but this damn forest didn't have a single pond.

What is wrong with this plot?

First, I got summoned into a world where demons have terrorized humans. Then, I got chased away by the kingdom guards because I awakened the goddamn bloodline which is only possible between demons.

Thanks to my past deed with one of the beautiful women in the royal family, I got a chance to escape while taking her hostage. But, soon I realized that this world wasn't just going to let me live. These guards were dead set on killing me.

I don't know why.

Why are you trying to kill me but not taking any steps forward to kill the Demon Lord? What is wrong with you people?

In my heart, I was desperately cursing them.

"Demon, you can't escape. Surrender to your fate!" Suddenly, a voice rang behind me which I know didn't belong to one of the soldiers. So, I looked back and saw an old man flying toward me.

'Dude, are you a superman? Why are you flying? You don't even have a wing. Damn it! Even an old man can fly. How am I ever going to escape from them?'

I looked around and tried to think of an idea. I have no idea whatsoever. I knew something was going wrong with me. And, I was getting faster with each minute. But, I am not sure I can fight the old man who can fly.

How can you expect me to them when I am alone without any knowledge of battle? I couldn't wrap my head around everything that happened in just three days.

And, this might be a late introduction but my name is Alex Jordon. I was a simple guy living on earth until a summoning spell appeared beneath me when I was just drinking Starbucks. That truly sucked because I didn't even get to finish my coffee at Starbucks and it didn't even get summoned with me.

How did I know that I was getting summoned? Well, I was a huge anime fan and I had watched a lot of anime as well. But, when I got summoned. I found the plot was quite different even though the start was the same.

So, I will summarize the start. I got summoned and was told to defeat the Demon Lord. This world has a strange magic system where people awaken Magic. But, what I awakened was Bloodline. And, the worst of all was that bloodline only appeared between demons.

Man, why isn't there a single saint in this world? At least, he would've passed down his bloodline in humans as well. You might be curious if I am taking the reference from cultivation worlds. And, yes I am because Sword Saint would be a better choice since humans use swords, you know?

But, before the day of my awakening, I got laid with one of the beautiful ladies. Of course, I can't miss this in my summary. That was one of the best days of my life. The fictional beauty was with me in a bed. How could it not be the best day of my life? And, she was the one invited.

Come on, I don't care if you are a virgin or not. If you get invited into the bed by a fictional level beauty, then you know you got to pull down that pants of yours.

Anyway, after I got awakened, they tried to kill me. Well, what else could I do? I used the same lady as my hostage and escaped. Thankfully, she was someone important to the royal family so I was happy that I got an entire night with the royal lady.

And, this is how it all started. Now, I am running away from the kingdom while still being chased by their soldiers inside a forest that freaking didn't have a single monster for some goddamn reason. I wanted to use them to distract the guards, you know?

I wanted to escape from them. This is a new world with hundreds of new possibilities. Maybe what I couldn't do in my world is possible here. I didn't want to die before even I get a chance to enjoy my life.

"Since you don't surrender, then don't blame me for being ruthless." The old man's voice rang in my ears once again. But, this time his tone was filled with coldness.

"O' Goddess of Light! Give me your mana and surround me with your holiness. With your name as my belief, I shall summon your sword."

"Light Sword!"

He faced his palm towards me and condensed the yellow lightning on his palm. Slowly, the yellow light shaped into a sword that moved towards me. I instantly noticed it and couldn't help but raise my middle finger.

"If the name is just Light Sword, why would you need to say so much crap?"

'But, how the hell am I supposed to dodge this?'

The sword wasn't slow but my thoughts were faster. I thought of moving around but suddenly a stunt of Parkour came to my mind. And, just in front of me was a tree. I ran as fast as I could and instead of dodging it, I stepped on it.

My speed was so fast that I kept running on it until the sword passed just below me. Just as I predicted, this was able to sense me to a certain degree. So, when I successfully dodged it, the sword collided against the tree and got stuck in the middle.

Thud!

Unfortunately, I landed on my shoulder. I did that to save my head and realized I should have done some Parkour instead of watching anime all the time. But, my adrenaline was still kicking in as I got up and ran like hell.

"Soldiers of Spirit Kingdom! You are commanded to use your full strength and kill him." The old man immediately resorted to the soldiers who were still chasing me. His eyes were filled with killing intent as he looked at me and muttered "He absolutely shouldn't survive or else, he will bring the end to humanity."

Unfortunately, I was unaware of his crap. I only noticed him commanding the soldiers which made me frightened. Until now, I have been dodging one thought in my head.

Why aren't these soldiers trying to kill me?

They were trying to outrun me and capture me which was surprising. But because I was so much in chaos, I never thought of it. And now hearing his words, I realized something.

I f**ked up!

'Damn you, god! I am sorry but I have no one else to blame that I am going to die now. Why the hell was I summoned here? I was just drinking my coffee at Starbucks like normal days.'

I felt like crying when I saw those soldiers condensing a different form of magic in their palms. The middle one formed a giant spear made out of lightning while the next two formed water bullets and a red sword.

The soldier next to him gathered some powerful wind on his palm but his hands were swinging behind. The next moment, the soldier in the middle shoots the lightning spear. It came off as no surprise that it would fast.

Thud!

My senses told me to trip myself. I put my right foot in front of the left while running with insane speed and fell to the ground. I was lucky. At this moment, I felt I was goddamn lucky because the spear passed just a few inches above me when I fell.

But, I hit my face on the ground. I rolled to the side and hurriedly got up while dozens of water bullets rushed toward me. At this moment, I had no choice. I couldn't dodge it no matter where I run because there were too many of them.

But, there was something I could do. I knew I can reduce the damage so I turned sideways just before the water bullets hit me while facing the opposite direction.

Splash! Splash! Splash!

The water bullets were truly fast as they pierced my left arm, left leg, and neck. Fortunately, they didn't pierce my muscles. And, I resumed running even though I was covered in blood.

No, I wasn't going to give up. I don't know why I was the one chosen here? I don't know why I had the Demon Bloodline even though I was clearly a human. And, I don't care if I have to face the pain that I never faced before.

I ran like hell. I was feeling thirsty and this thirst was truly making me feel give up. But, for some reason, or maybe the awakening, I wasn't feeling tired. I ran like hell until the man holding the fire sword flew towards me.

Only then do I realize the man next to him propels this man using his wind magic. At this moment, I was devastated because that man had already slashed his fire sword down. It struck my back as it burned my clothes and skin, slamming me to the ground.

Thud!
