Chapter 1Dimensional Traveler

In a world where dimensions collide and rules of science defy, humanity faces a threat unlike any other.

The Trixions, beings from another dimension, invaded our world and mercilessly plundered its resources. Precious jewels, gold, and technology were stolen in a blink of an eye.

With a small army of only one thousand, they wreaked havoc on humanity, causing destruction beyond imagination.

But humanity would not go down without a fight. The Trixions' dimensional travel technology was still in its infancy, and they could only traverse to our dimension every hundred years.

We began to develop our own Dimensional Traveling Technology, hoping to acquire superpowers to strengthen our military prowess.

Our Dimension was divided into four categories: Martial Arts, Magic & Sword, Science, and Unique.

Our dimension belonged to the Science category as well as Trixions.

However, the Trixions possessed something that we did not: supernatural abilities. They could shoot fire from their palms and fly without technology, which was beyond our understanding.

Despite the Trixions' underdeveloped technology compared to ours, luck had allowed them to discover dimensional travel earlier than us.

The delay of a hundred years between their invasions gave us time to adapt and continue the development of our technologies to fight against them.

Desperate to survive, we advanced our technology and managed to replicate something similar to the Trixions' Dimensional Traveling.

Through this technology, we were able to acquire some supernatural abilities similar to what they have, turning most of humanity into super soldiers to fight against them.

Every hundred years, the Dimensional Travelers engaged in a fierce battle with the Trixions to prevent the destruction of our world under their rule. Our survival and the fate of our world depended on our ability to prevail in this struggle.

Many years have passed since the great war with the Trixions, and peace has been established between the dimensions.

The Trixions and humanity have agreed not to invade each other's dimensions and have maintained peace until the present. But the threat of another invasion looms...

Under a blazing red sky, Augustus, an old man, searched through the remnants of a ruined city, his eyes scanning every inch of the rubble for anything valuable.

Frustration consumed him as he rummaged through the debris, only to find more rocks and debris.

Just as he was about to give up, something glittering caught his eye. With lightning-fast reflexes, he rushed towards the source of the gleaming object, determined to uncover its secrets.

As he arrived at the approximate location, he scanned the area, searching for the fallen object.

"It must have landed on top of one of the rooftops around here," he thought to himself.

Climbing the tallest building in the area is the most efficient way to survey all of the rooftops at once.

As he got to the top of the tallest building, Augustus actually found it.

"Didn't know you were here," Augustus muttered to himself, approaching the object cautiously.

Using his eyes to scan the glittering stone, he noticed that it was as small as a pigeon's egg but remained perfectly round in shape after leaving marks on the rooftops floor.

Name: [No data]

Description: [No data]

Augustus's heart pounded with excitement as he realized that he may have stumbled upon something valuable.

"This shiny stone might sell for a lot," he murmured, realizing the potential worth of the object.

Examining it with curiosity, Augustus held the stone carefully and stored it in his dimensional storage.

With only an hour left, Augustus decided to explore the abandoned building, hoping to find anything else of value.

"I haven't touched this building yet, might as well see if there's anything up for grabs," he muttered.

Augustus scoured every corner of the building for scraps, especially item that his scanner couldn't identify.

Time passes as he scavenges the building and finally time has run out. His body started to turn into particles, and he was transported back to his original world.

As Augustus emerged from the strange-looking capsule back on Earth.

"I'm back," he got out from his room and announced to the ragged old woman who appeared to be his wife, cooking in the kitchen.

Augustus couldn't contain his excitement any longer. "Guess what," he said with a grin as he ran over to her. "I found something amazing!"

The old woman chuckled, pleased for Augustus. "Good work, honey. I've just finished cooking dinner" she said with a smile.

Augustus laughed along with her. "Could be! We'll see, if it is We'll go out dining at fancy restaurant for dinner."

He quickly retrieved the shiny stone he had found from his dimensional storage and showed it off to Laura.

Laura inspected the stone and shrugged. "Looks like an ordinary shiny rock to me," she said dismissively.

Augustus was not deflated by Laura's words. "Yeah, right," he said with a chuckle. "I'll run away with the money if it's worth millions."

"Run away and never come back, stupid old man," Laura joked.

Augustus ran out of the house in a hurry, afraid that someone would steal his precious stone. He didn't care for the traffic lights, he burst through and arrived at an appraisal store where he usually sold the items he found.

Augustus approached the counter where a young-looking man was sitting leisurely on his chair looking at his phone. "I've got some goods to sell. This time you might have to get a B-grade appraiser," Augustus said confidently, not wanting to take any chances with his new find.

The young man put down his phone and looked at Augustus with a grumpy expression. "The last time you said that you wasted ten thousand dollars of mine on junk. Show me the goods first."

Augustus showed him the shiny stone and the scraps he had found, which allowed the man to inspect the items with his monocle. Upon close inspection, the owner's eyes shrunk. "Yep, just a junk, no need for an appraiser for this junk," he said, unimpressed.

Augustus felt like his heart had been ripped out of his chest. "What? Are you sure? What does your artifact say?" he asked, hoping for a glimmer of hope.

The owner sighed and shook his head. "Extremely tough material great for crafting armor. It's at best A-grade mineral, but judging from the size and weight of it, it could be sold for five thousand if I try to sell it to some collectors," he said with a shrug.

"Not a huge sum of money, but it's worth more than scraps," Adam encouraged Augustus with a positive tone, trying to lift his spirits.

Augustus, however, was far from satisfied with the price offered by Adam. It wasn't enough to cover everything he had hoped for. "Sigh, alright then, as usual," he muttered, disappointed.

As Adam scanned through the scraps that Augustus had laid on the table, his attention was suddenly caught by one of them. "Oh? This knife is a nice one," he exclaimed, inspecting it closely. "According to my artifact, it has an engraving slot. If polished, it could be worth a fortune. You hit the jackpot, my friend!"

"What? I thought that knife was just another scrap. How much is it worth?" Augustus asked, his interest now piqued.

"A weapon with an engraving slot is usually worth at least 100 credits, which is around a million. But this weapon has bad stats. It needs to be handled by an expert before it can reach that price point. I would say one hundred fifty thousand," Adam explained.

"From a million to only one hundred fifty? You're ripping me off, kid," Augustus protested, feeling like he was getting a raw deal.

"Two hundred with the other scraps," Adam offered, trying to make it up to him.

"One hundred and seventy without the scraps. I'm keeping the stone. The stone led me to the building; otherwise, I wouldn't have found the knife," Augustus negotiated, trying to strike a deal.

"Deal. You keep the stone," Adam agreed, shaking hands with Augustus.

Normally, Augustus would be lucky to make two thousand a day from scavenging scraps from unique dimensions, but today he had made over a hundred thousand from a single trip. "I should go back and bring Laura out for dinner," he thought, pleased with his unexpected fortune.

Suddenly, explosions rocked the area, and people were screaming from all directions. "What's going on outside?" Augustus asked, alarmed.

Adam quickly pulled out his phone and opened up the news channel where reporter voice can be heard loudly.

"Trixions suddenly started invading Earth. One of our Rankers reports that they are searching for something,"

"We currently have no clues what they are searching for, but one thing's for sure: Trixions are ignoring the peace treaty that was agreed upon three hundred years ago for an unknown object. Whatever they're looking for, we can't let them find it, or else Earth will fall into their hands."

Upon hearing the news, both of their faces darkened horribly. "Trixions are waging war again?" Augustus muttered under his breath, feeling a sense of dread wash over him.
