Chapter 1Chapter 1: New Universe! beginning of the new life

Ye Jingyi felt his head spinning. Opening his eyes, he instinctively touched his aching head.

His mind, still foggy from just waking up, struggled to piece together memories, leaving his thoughts in chaos.

"Who am I? Where am I?" These were the first questions that crossed his mind.

Clutching his head, he surveyed his surroundings. He found himself in the midst of a forest, lying beneath a colossal tree.

The sight around him only deepened his confusion.

"Di...Di...Di, Host wakes up... It is detected that the host is experiencing memory loss... starting the backup program..."

"Di...Di...Di, Lack of Energy for Backup Plan, Recommended scanning the surrounding for an energy source...."

"Scanning starts!"

A mechanical voice, reminiscent of a child's, echoed in his mind, creating a strange sensation within his brain.

"Di… The energy source has been found successfully... Solar energy… Starting to absorb… recharging the Nano Suit...."

"Releasing Energy bots…"

Following these instructions, his clothing began to writhe, and a small piece separated from the main fabric.

Transforming into something akin to a paper crane, it gracefully soared into the sky.

As Ye Jingyi, still grappling with memory loss, observed this spectacle, more clothing detached and transformed into paper cranes, gracefully ascending into the sky.

Attempting to stand, he realized his body was engulfed in pain, rendering him unable to move.

Eventually, the cranes returned, merging seamlessly with his clothes. Another segment detached and soared into the sky, repeating this process.

Merge... Separate. Merge... Separate.

This continued for ten minutes until the mechanical voice chimed in once more.

"Di. Di… Sufficient energy absorbed. Emergency treatment is carried out..."

The clothes transformed again, this time into numerous cables dancing like a dragon, attaching themselves to different parts of his body.

These cables connected to his wounds, with most leading to his head.

Just as confusion settled, a warm current spread from the cable attachments, and his body began healing at an astonishing speed.

His eyes, closed in apparent sleep, suddenly snapped open, devoid of confusion. They now held a mixture of doubt and ecstasy.

He remembered everything. He was Ye Jingyi.

Ye Jingyi was a Junior Researcher, achieving recognition as one of the youngest researchers in history through his talent and hard work. One day, while using instruments to measure Origin Fluctuations, he discovered anomalies that had never been recorded by humans.

Filled with excitement, he dispatched a mechanical crane to investigate. However, an unexpected turn of events occurred – the mechanical crane was destroyed when it approached the location of the original frequency discovery. This was perplexing because these cranes were known for their high defense and speed, impervious even to missiles.

Before the destruction, the mechanical crane managed to relay valuable information: the original frequency. According to the established understanding, each planet possesses a unique origin frequency, and the Human Federation has extensive records of these frequencies in numerical form.

Ye Jingyi attempted to match the newly discovered origin frequency with the federation's database but found no similar records. This suggested that the origin frequency might be from a previously unknown planet or galaxy. The numerical format followed a standard order: Origin Frequency of Universe/Origin frequency of galaxy/origin frequency of the planet.

Motivated by this discovery, Ye Jingyi aimed to convert this frequency data into a format that could help locate the new planet or galaxy. However, the notion of finding a new universe seemed impossible based on existing research, as the universe was believed to have no borders or limits.

The deeply ingrained belief in a single universe with a unique origin frequency for the entire universe was challenged by the data obtained. The Mechanical crane had detected the original frequency of a new universe, suggesting a high possibility of the existence of another universe.

This revelation shook the foundations of their understanding and left Ye Jingyi with a burning determination to explore this newfound discovery.

Upon seeing the data, he found it unbelievable, yet the undeniable facts and evidence were laid out before him. He had no choice but to accept the enormity of this discovery.

Excitement surged within him as he eagerly shared his findings with everyone. Unfortunately, his revelation was met with skepticism and rejection. Those familiar with his research gave him the cold shoulder, mocking him for challenging deeply ingrained beliefs.

This disbelief persisted even with concrete data in his hands. Doubters claimed his machine malfunctioned or accused him of forging the data. Undeterred by the skepticism and allegations, Ye Jingyi's fighting spirit burned brighter. His adventurous side awakened, fueling his determination to prove them wrong by finding another universe.

Despite his efforts, days passed without results. After an extended period of hard work, he once again detected Origin Fluctuations. This time, he was thrilled and determined to personally explore the anomaly, aware of the risks involved.

Donning his newly purchased Nano Suit, acquired with his life savings, he became impervious even to weapons as formidable as the Fat Man and Little Boy. Armed with high-tech weaponry, he hastened toward the location displaying different Origin Fluctuations.

Upon arrival, he meticulously searched for the area with the highest fluctuation to pinpoint the location. As he neared, an abnormality manifested – a space crack appeared.

Due to the vacuum, he was involuntarily drawn into the space crack. Fortunately, the Nano Combat Suit protected him from being torn apart, but he remained unconscious, oblivious to the events unfolding around him.

"Scan the surrounding areas and try to locate a living creature," Ye Jingyi directly ordered the AI in his brain, MX-2017.

The paining of getting his system and talent extracted and getting betrayed by his love made him fall in abyss. [Detecting sufficient energy to awaken the system] [Activating the Plundering System] **[Host has successfully awakened the Plundering System]** **[Gained an SSS+ Talent Ability: Plunder]** **[Gained an SSS+ Talent Ability: ????? Dragon Power]** **[Gained an SSS+ Talent Ability: ????? Phoenix Power]** This voice brought a change to his life. Farming EXP, getting stronger, completing missions. This was his daily life. Until a memory fragment surfaced... It turned out his identity wasn’t what it seemed. His past life, his parents—everything was shocking, as he found himself caught in a whirlpool of secrets. Follow Draco’s journey as he uncovers the missing pieces of the puzzle and the hidden truths about his past life. A/N: The novel entails a story about system holders. All ability Awakener have their own system, but in some classes, some Awakener are chosen by unique system, such as the Plundering System (MC's second system), Fox System, Thunder God System, Fire God System, Vampire System, Undead System and many more. I would say the novel has a foundation of magic with little Eastern Fantasy. It is a novel where the stronger prey on the stronger. You'll surely love it. As for the systems origin, I'll drop a hint: gods Please also note, the MC will be overpowered after the awakening of the Plundering System. However, in the beginning, he is just slightly above a genius fighter. Support this shameless Author with power stones, gifts and golden ticket Discord Link:https://discord.gg/zVzcJs2F

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a mix of annoyance and disappointment. "You can't outsmart Scrients! They're the most intelligent beings across the two realms." "You're right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a heavy sigh. "I made a mistake. I was too arrogant to think that a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "Heik! Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I'm not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait, you can't. I killed them all.” ______ My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid, pointless scuffle, and in the middle of it, I tripped and hit my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in - the memories of another life, of a different world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First, I was in a game I used to play in my past life. Second, I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool and mysterious kind, either. No, my destiny was to be manipulated and die a dog's death! I was the worst type of cliché: an ungrateful, privileged, insufferable young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. The kind everyone hates — a snobby brat from a powerful noble family who thinks he owns the world just because he was born with a silver spoon lodged in his mouth. You know the type. The one the hero beats to a pulp to prove his worth. Yeah, I was that guy. And the hero? The hero was the kid I’d been bullying all this time. The same one I got into a fight with. He was the supposed savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And at the end of it all, the final antagonist of the game, the undefeatable boss… the Spirit King, was waiting. But could I even make it to the end? Could I conquer a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that was now my reality! “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could, but I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, twisting the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains before they could become threats - nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected? Who cares! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me—my survival, my life, my choices. “I will live this life with no regrets.” …But as I soon discovered, fate was not easily changed. And the price of altering one's destiny was steep. ========== Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VjFQtDUaTR

I was enjoying this story up until around chapter 50 or so (I read to 148 anyways.. was a mistake). There is a lot of interesting stuff that can be done with combining science and cultivation which I hadn't seen done often in other novels so I looked forward to how this one would turn out. The pacing started to slow down after the paid chapters started which should tell you a lot. The author wanted to milk the story for all that he could and charged a lot for each chapter. But that wouldn't have made me write a review about it if that was all. He started to advertise for contributions and create a scheme for new chapters to be unlocked based on contributions. And he would include that at the bottom of each chapter to take up word count while decreasing the word count of the actual story chapters. The whole thing just felt like such a cash grab by the end. Not to mention the last chapters available are just repeats of old chapters with a note in the title about not purchasing. But this also seems to be a cash grab because you either bulk purchase all chapters to save on price. Or if you notice the author saying don't purchase and decide to purchase in smaller batches to not pay for those chapters as noted then you would end up paying more per chapter due to the price differences. Maybe I'm being jaded because of the other scummy things I've noticed being done in this novel through the notes author leaves about encouraging contribution and promises about story direction and chapter release. But I wouldn't put it past him if what I stated was planned as a way to squeeze out the maximum amount of money from the reader without giving thought to the reader experience.
