In the children's room on the first floor, a young, attractive woman with loose brown hair was dressing her two boys. An old friend was supposed to visit them today, so Lily wanted her sons to look their best. However, it wasn't easy; one of her sons was extremely tearful, and the other was an oasis of peace who watched her every move closely. Lily wanted to dress her young brothers as quickly as possible and started with the most tearful one.

"Wait a moment, Krius. First, I will deal with this little crying one," she said, sending the boy a warm smile, and he returned it.

Then she headed to a nearby bed with the small crying child, where boys' clothes lay. Lily struggled to dress the little boy with unruly jet-black hair and almond-shaped green eyes inherited from her. After a few minutes of jerking, Lily finally managed to dress the little boy and put him in the children's bed.

Now it was her second son's turn. So, right after putting little Harry away, she took Krius in her hands. The boy, unlike his more spontaneous brother, did not struggle when dressing. He was very quiet and secretive for his age. Only near his mother did Krius smile and behave like any other child his age. The boy had short brown hair similar to Lily's and green eyes like his brother's. Parents said that Krius was almost completely similar to Lily. James was not happy about that, but he still loved the little boy, although he preferred to be in the company of his mother, and when James tried to pick him up, little Krius escaped to his mother.

After dressing both boys, Lily went with them to the living room. A set table was waiting for her, and James was not at home because he had important matters related to the Order. Normally, James did not leave the house, but today he had an important case that he had to discuss with Dumbledore. It was Lily who was there because her husband and her best friend did not have the best relations.

Her best friend was Severus Snape, her childhood friend, whom she highly valued. Lily wanted him to meet her two sons because there had never been an opportunity before. Fortunately, Lily was well-prepared, so she put the boys on the sofa. As expected, there was a knocking sound from the door, and a man in a black coat was waiting outside. It was, of course, Severus. After Lily opened the door, a tall man with black hair reaching up to his neck entered the house.

"Hello, Lily. Forgive me for not visiting you for so long. However, I had a lot on my mind," said Severus, after hugging Lily, and then he headed for the armchair that was right next to the boys' sofa.

"No problem, Severus... Come here, you'll meet the boys," Lily said, changing the subject after a while.

Then Lily took both boys in her arms and went with them to Snape. However, before Severus could say anything, Lily put the boys on his lap. Harry didn't want to be on Snape's lap for some reason, so he cried, and Lily took him in her arms and sat with him on the sofa next to Severus. Krius, on the other hand, began to smile at someone other than his mother for the first time. Krius felt exceptionally comfortable on Snape's lap, which pleased both Lily and Severus himself. Severus didn't feel disgusted with Harry because when he looked at Harry, he saw father James.

But looking at Krius, he saw Lily. Lily seeing Snape's interest in baby Krius. She started telling him about it. When she mentioned that Krius rarely smiles. And he'd been doing it until now, just for her. And he never smiled at James, which made Severus even happier.

The rest of the meeting ended with a conversation between Lily and Snape. Mainly about little Krius. In addition to the conversations that took place, Severus spent a lot of time playing with Krius. Which he liked very much. Lily was very happy with all this. However, after a few hours of visit, Severus had to return, so he briefly said goodbye to Lily and her children and left the apartment.

Lily pleased with today's events took the boys upstairs. And she prepared them for sleep.
