I Just Like You!

The blue clear sky , birds singing.and voices of children playing basketball in the court.

The class was noisy and teacher was lecturing.

It was such a peaceful afternoon.

In the corner left of the class window seat a girl with dark brown hair and eyes close to black was plopping her chin with her hand and was looking outside the window in a daze.

She wore a soft and neat cotton white and blue uniform. A cute little ponytail with hair only reaching down her shoulder. Her lips were light shade of baby pink.

There was still some immaturity and baby fat that belong to a ten years old girl.

A fifth grader.

Her eyes were unfocused and deep in thought. Her eyes were big and bright and looked cute in a daze.

The Bell ringed.

The teacher left shortly after the bell. Everyone rush out of the class.

It was physical class.

Means playtime!

Sam elbow the girl who was looking outside the window in a daze.

"Ranran! Let's go and play!"

Sam muttered excitedly staring at her still in daze friend.

Suddenly ,Ran Quzi slapped her cheeks with both her hands.

Slap!

A loud and crisp sound rang in the empty classroom of them two.

Sam step back in fright as she watch her friend Ranran cheeks turn red with five finger prints.

Sam was startle and hurried to check her friend's red cheeks.

It was not seriously hurt.

She sighed in relief and glared at her friend.

"Ranran you-"

"Sam , I am in love!"

"Huh? No what?!"

Sam was surprised by Ranran's sudden confession.

Ranran's eyes were sparkling and stubborn.

"Sam , I really like him!"

Only when there is on one will Ran Quzi can be so courageous to talk about love.

It was a love discovered after many years of thinking.

"Who do you like?" Sam ask back in curiousity but her tone was a little bad. Her heart was a little alert.

She had a very bad intuition in her heart.

"I-I like the senior in the next class." Ranran cheeks were blushing red and the root of her ears was already red. The words stutter and misty eyes glow in the oncoming sunlight from the window.

It was the youthful appearance of girl blooming in love like cherry blossom in spring.

It's been a long time since Sam saw such a embrassed but shy expression. Sam was a little uncomfortable.

It reminds her of Ranran's first timid and shy appearence back when they first met.

She looks so fragile.

Love makes you fragile.

No girlfriend likes her best girlfriend's boyfriend. I like to think my girlfriend is best everywhere and her boyfriend is a scum and too unworthy for her.

Ranran is a pretty girl with good grades and good family. Ranran is confident and kind but not hypocritical or pretentious. She is a honest and cute person.

Sam and Ranran have been friends for many years. And friendship is as deep as good sisters. I slept in the same bed and wore the same crotch pants since childhood.

Ranran is three months younger than Sam. Sam thinks Ranran is her good little sister that is easy to decieve and needs her protection. I have always been with her for fear Ranran will be bullied.

Sam is a little overlord at home and is unruly and naughty. I liked to pull pranks on people when I was younger and like to beat boys. The grade are in top fifty ,not bad.

In third grade when Ranran was bullied by senior boys , it was Sam who blocked them and fought back. Although Sam didn't win back then and came back injuried but it didn't prevent her from thinking that she avenged her good friend.

Sam and Ranran have been indispensable to each other since childhood. It was a friendship based on years of trust accompanying each other.

A friendship that inexplicably came at the age of three.
