5. Deals of the heart

"Too much talking. Good bye, sweet child."

Alina's soul gripped the bloody diamond and pushed it inside the heart of Seraphina's body.

Seraphina trembled. "Ahh…!"

"You are happy." Seraphina asked.

The hand pushing the diamond stopped for a moment but soon assumed the previous attack.

"Of course. I wanted this body for a long time."

Seraphina chuckled in pain.

"Right?! You wanted this body. New life, eh? But why should I give you this ?"

Seraphina gritted her teeth in pain and with great amount of strength she pulled the diamond from her heart.

Alina wasn't prepared and Seraphina succeeded in taking the initiative in her hand.

"Thanks for the teaching. Now I will show you what I learned."

"What!?" It was the time for Alina to go into shock. After all, it was a completely different Seraphina.

Seraphina got up and walked to the centre of the circle and changed some runic characters by using the diamond in the centre.

"What? What are you doing? You can't change anything."

Alina tried to stop her but it was futile. Since Alina was just a soul body but Seraphina still had flesh and a strong willpower.

"I agree. You are a good teacher but I am also the best student. See, just by changing some characters it is a completely different circle. Can you guess? What is this?"

Alina got angry as Seraphina mocked her. It was even more shocking to see this side of the poor little girl who was obedient to her.

"Stop making it worse and die. Doing this will not change your fate. You are bound to this circle and even if you change this runic structure you will still die."

Alina warned.

"Right, I will still die. So I should have a meaningful death. Why should I fulfil your wishes? This should fulfil my wishes."

With that Seraphina used the stone to cut gashes on her skin, it was painful, her hand trembled but her willpower was strong enough to leave deep slash marks on her arms.

" Oh great devil! I, Seraphina Angelos, with my blood, flesh and soul summon you to this plane and grant my wishes."

Alina was shocked. "How do you know this? I never taught you this."

Seraphina laughed as she asked for her wishes.

"First cut, Make my family regret losing me."

"Second cut, I want Seraphina Angelos to be known in this world as a powerful woman. Seraphina Angelos should surpass everyone in this world just like that assimilator hailed number one in the interstellar.

"Third cut,..."

Seraphina puked blood as she was on the verge of death.

"Third cut, make my father regret his actions."

"Fourth cut, aaagh! I want to know about my mother."

"Fifth cut with my vast magic power that I never knew I had. I want the devil to grant this wish to a poor soul suffering in another dimension , give her a new life and let her finish these wishes of mine."

As she asked for this wish Seraphina fell down on the ground, the last wish was not because of her great heart but she wanted somebody in this world to remember her, the true her.

" What are you doing?"

Alina was trembling in anger as she had witnessed the entire scenario.

"Why would you do something like this? Giving a chance to some stranger in another dimension. What about me?"

"I raised you for ten years. You are just like your wretch mother. Both are a nuisance."

Alina was extremely angry as her plan to seize the body has gone wrong after this stupid bit** sacrificed her body to the devil.

She even bound her soul to the circle as a nutrient for the foreigner soul.

"What a good student?! I taught."

Seraphina smiled. "Yeah, a good student."

Alina refuted her. "After this you will no longer exist in any dimension, your presence is going to be swallowed by the devil himself. I just wanted your body as a vessel. Why can't you even give me that? A foreign soul?! Is this a joke?"

"You have tied me with you. You are even harsher than my father."

Seraphina smiled. "It was nice seeing your true face, aunt. Since you are dead, no need to live again."

"You little shit!"

"Yes, come with me. We will die together."

"Two abandoned daughters of powerful fathers. Let's leave this world together." Seraphina asked her aunt.

She smiled beautifully at the idea of leaving this world together. At least she won't be alone on this last journey.

The diamond shone with a crazy blacklight, like an ominous sign, answering the prayer of sacrifice as Seraphina's body twitched and dark black power swept out of her blood vessel.

"Uhm… it's painful."

On the other hand, Alina didn't feel any pain as she was already dead. She looked at Seraphina twitching and dying and a sorrow filled the air.

"I would live again. Why didn't you use my soul as a sacrifice?"

"Yyouu…aaa–rre..my mum. We were together,," Seraphina spat out blood. "I can't destroy the only per–so…n who ahh…was with me agh! in this short life. You hate me… but were the…only person close to…me."

A tear slipped out from the eyes of Alina.

"What nonsense?! Close to you. I am your enemy."

"Ugh! Enemy? Who is tearing up at my death. You are funn..y mom."

"I am not your mom." Alina screamed.

The black energy completely engulfed Seraphina as if devouring a rare delicacy.

With that, Seraphina Angelos was no more in this world.

No one living knew she died as the spaceship was completely wrecked after the forbidden magic was performed on it.

"Foolish girl."

"It's time for you to go."

The dark aura ordered Alina. Since, Seraphina only used Alina's soul as a fuel to operate the new runic structure. After her death, Alina was free to go.

"I…"

"I want a piece of Seraphina's soul."

"There is no one like that in this world."

"Shut up! I know she sacrificed herself but I want a piece of her consciousness. I want to make a deal with you."

"What will you offer? A speck of soul. You have no condition to demand anything more."

"Gatekeeper, don't be presumptuous. Even if I don't know how to wield magic, not any dark entity could fool me. Leave Seraphina's body intact and a small part of her soul in that ring. I will provide you with my body in return."

"What good can a dead body be?"

Alina scoffed at the dark entity not revealing his face and trying to act majestically.

"Dead body? Mind you my body contains the blood of Safaris, I am the daughter of the great calamities. Don't think it is any less than that of this child's divine body. You will not suffer any loss."

Alina proposed. She was trying to possess Seraphina's body and knowingly hurt her but she never knew it would hurt so much to see that pitiful child dying in front of her.

"Looks like I have become soft with the years." Alina murmured.

Before she was trying to kill Seraphina but now fighting for a small part of her soul so that she could preserve something of that child in this world.

"Gatekeeper, since the sacrificer asked for a foreign soul to bring her fame and power, you should leave this body intact otherwise it will be a breach of contract. Even if you can't break the forbidden contract, I suggest you follow my command."

"Fine, the blood of Safaris. I will grant your wish."
