Hearing Quentin order to eat left everyone confused, and so did Arabelle. According to the woman, they should have had a discussion at this time when they realized Lorelei had refused their request.
But the order still had to be carried out. Arabelle and Marcella walked downstairs to tell the servants to prepare the food, especially lunch, since it would be lunch soon.
"What are you thinking, Lord Quentin?" asked Geoffrey, surprised and curious to know why Quentin ordered so.
"I'm hungry, and right now, I want to eat. Making plans on a starving belly won't yield good results," Quentin replied, glancing at Sir Dorren, "Am I right, Sir Dorren?"
"T-True, My Lord," Sir Dorren replied.
"But we're discussing an important matter, about Helferich's request being denied by Lorelei," Geoffrey said.
"Calm down. Their refusal is not the end of the world. We'll work out a plan after we finish eating," Quentin replied, releasing Geoffrey's grip on his hand.
