"The answer is"

She paused

"The system"

She tried to tell but fell short of her tongue...

Both the times she said "The System", Her expression, the expression on her face was as if she were thinking of something.

She kept looking blanky towards the ceiling before getting up herself

"Stand up"

"Hurry"

She started to pull me by my arms, forcing me to stand up too

"WHat?" I asked

Before I could grasp what was going on

She turned towards me and said

"Its easier to show you, then tell"

She snapped her finger.

Even before a blink of my eye.

The place surrounding us had changed, beneath my feet was hard concrete, instead of the soft carpet a moment prior.

The Gust of Winds is so heavy that it could take a person with it.

Turning to my left, I stood facing the vast ocean in front of me.

The restless ocean was in turmoil, a storm was brewing.

"Sea"

Looking at the ocean, she said "Ain't it beautiful"

We were standing on a seawall, it was constantly getting hit by the waves.

"Where are we?" I asked her, still looking at the ocean.

The storm was approaching from far away.

"In future," she said.

A beam of light fell from the sky over the ocean, far away on the horizon.

"Beautiful"

The sea grew wilder and wilder, the waves grew stronger and stronger finally going over the seawall, and from that beam of light, emerged a blue light that expanded and began to cover the area in it.

"What is this?" The light went over us expanding, covering the place in it, as I looked up at it.

"The Last Resort" she said

She grabbed my hand and started to run along the sea wall, dragging me along with her which almost made me trip over, but at the end I began to run with her, keeping up with her.

She came to a halt abruptly.

At the end of the wall stood a man, in a black t-shirt and grey pants.

She kept looking at him, her eyes filled with tears, they flowed down her cheeks, she kept looking at him from a distance. I stood next to her silently looking at the man.

The man stood there silently looking at the beam of light before he suddenly jumped into the ocean.

I went there running, looking for the man. But the man was nowhere to be seen.

Standing next to me she said

"This was the last memories of him"

I looked towards her.

Black, nothing but complete darkness, we both were standing in it.

Then there was no ground beneath my feet, I was floating upwards. Next to me, she was holding onto my hand, as we went upwards, something went past me upwards very fast, then it again zipped past me downwards. I looked down and other things were also floating beside us.

We were not the only ones there.

I looked up, it was the same as down below, something zoomed past me and came back again and stared me into the face up close, it was a baby monster. A kind of the same monster that I had encountered previously back in the hospital.

It went away from my face, that's when I saw the man who had jumped into the sea, above us he was floating upwards too. Then I saw a bright white light above me. Everything disappeared into it. We went in it too.

Then, we were standing in bright light, just like the system dimension from the first time I met An Chae's fragmented consciousness.

The man was lying in front of us, over him was a bright orb of light floating in the air, circling around him, before it came to a halt.

It started to glow brightly before it turned into An Chaeyoung.

Looking over the man, standing over him.

"At the age of 29.."

I turned towards An Chaeyoung, the one beside me.

She continued

"You ended up jumping into the sea, ending your life. Your body floating into the sea had somehow ended up in the beam of life. This is when I found you. The first anomaly in the system, Kim Meonjeo"

She turned towards me, facing me she asked

"Who are you?"

Before again turned towards her and my dead body. looking at the other her and my dead body as the other her sat on her knees inspecting my dead body.

"Why did I kill myself?"

I was in a shock at the time looking at my own death, I had kinda gone numb. I did not know how to react. Upon someone else's death I could grieve, but how was I supposed to react after seeing my own death?

"You had a really harsh life" she sadly smiled at me. Touching my face she wiped my teary eyes. Before wrapping her arms around me tightly and running her hand through my hair comforting me, as I broke down.

Then after i had calmed down a bit, she continued

"You were the first anomaly I had discovered in the system. You had traces of me on yourself"

"This is the person you most desired to see before you died, So, I took this from at the time from your memories"

After a slight pause, she continued

"As, i did not know yet at the time who this person was, nor did i had any record of your existence in the system"

"at the time you were an alien to the system, your existence was an anomaly, since nothing was beyond the system and my traces were on you"

"Thus, to learn more about you I took your body with me from the beam of life to my own dimension, where I was able to read your memories. Although only the memories of this woman were vivid, and everything else had faded much, I was able to recover your memories, all those memories were saved in me"

"That time i did not know you, i didn't know you humans or understood you, but it all started to change with your memories."

You were the first person I had come across and you were dead, found in a place where no dead can come to, the beam of life.
