摘要

After I died, I was faced by what I can only assume was God itself. After that, it reincarnated me into a new world and gave me unbelievable power, but I don't really want to be some hero. Instead, I want to live a quiet life.

Chapter 1(Re)Awakening

It felt like I was floating. My body floated still in an unfamiliar void. I could see, not through my eyes, but like I just know what is around me.

Hello?

My voice called out, or was it my voice? Maybe it was just my thoughts echoing out through the seemingly endless void. My mind slowly wandered away until I could feel a presence approaching from the void surrounding. The presence replaced the void entirely, surrounding me. Is this my creator?

"Yes, I am your creator."

A voice, or a thought, or whatever I should call it, rang out through my mind, answering the question I had. The voice clearly held authority, it's dominance radiating from its presence. I shivered, or at least I think I did. I still have no idea what exactly I am right now.

"You are a soul, and I am your creator. That is all."

The presence explained things to me in a simple manner. Slowly, my soul felt like it was being enveloped by the presence. What is happening?

"I am judging whether you are worthy of being reincarnated."

Reincarnated? That means I died?

"Yes, you did."

My mind turned over what I was told, trying to make sense of what was happening. Who am I?

"You are you, that is all. Your previous memories will return if that is what has you worried, so fret not. All that is left to do is pass judgement."

Judgement? What for?

"For you. Right now, I am, how shall I put this, experiencing your life from your point of view. If I determine that you lived life with good intentions, then I shall reincarnate you. If not, I shall leave you here to toil over your mistakes."

The presence spoke calmly, as if what he told me wasn't a big deal, but it was. What does he mean stay here to toil over my mistakes? How long? Forever? No thank you, I would certainly prefer to live and enjoy life instead of toiling and suffering.

My thoughts were heard by the presence as I thought them, and I knew this, but I was to nervous to hold them back. Instead of judging me for being scared, the presence attempted to soothe me.

"No, there is no need to fret. When I say toil over your mistakes, I don't mean forever. You will simply stay here until I deem you to be better. If you went through life with good intentions, however, then you won't have to wait, and I can have you reincarnated quickly. Either way, the end result is the same."

Ah, well that makes me feel better. I sighed, or at least I think I did, and began to relax. The presence only enveloped me for a few moments longer before he finished.

"Okay, my judgement is complete. It seems you lived a life with good intentions. In fact, you had better intentions than most, so I shall reincarnate you with some extra bonuses, but don't let it get to your head. I wish you luck in your new life."

Okay, thank you. Will I ever see you again?

"One day, we will meet again. Until then, I bid you farewell."

With those words, his presence disappeared, leaving me alone in the void. Something was changing, however. It felt like I was being pushed and pulled, my soul being moved around like a ragdoll. Then, it stopped.

My eyes slowly fluttered open, and what greeted me was a tree growing up into the sky, its leaves rustling in the light breeze. I was laying on the ground, looking up at the tree. I slowly sat up. I could see no other trees around me as I turned my head. Instead, all I saw was a grassy field along with a dirt road that continued off into the far distance.

Uhm, where am I? Wasn't I just speaking with that presence? Also, didn't he say that I would be able to remember my pa-

It was like a flood went through my mind. A flash of familiar memories raced through my head, memories that I knew were mine. I saw my family and my friends, and I watched as I pushed them away to protect them when I got involved with a group of bad people on accident. I watched as that same group beat me to death when I tried to get away from them.

It was a lot to process, but I didn't feel upset. I'm just glad that those who were important to me stayed safe, even if it cost me my life.

I stood from the soft ground beneath the tree that I had previously been sitting on, and walked towards the long dirt road. I might as well follow it, considering I don't know where I am.

Out of nowhere, a small little map appeared in the corner of my vision. I wonder what this does? As I thought this, the map expanded, showing me where I was, and which way to go to get to the nearest town.

How convenient. Well, I better start walking then. It looks like the sun will set soon.

Only I get to do that. You don’t get to leave me, you don’t get to run! You only leave when I want you to.” "I didn’t ask for this,” I whispered, trembling. “I didn’t ask to be your mate.” Cain stepped back, “Neither did I,” he muttered under his breath. “But the bond doesn’t give us a choice, does it?” ~~~~ As the only child of her late Alpha father, Avery Jae was meant to inherit her family’s legacy. His strides are long and confident, heading in my direction like he knows exactly what he wants. He stops before me, and my head tips back. "How is that possible?" His voice drops to a rumbling whisper. Now that he was close to me, the burning ache deep within started to throb and palpitate. His body tensed, and then he was on me, nose against my neck, inhaling deeply, one hand on the side of my hair, pinning me in place with his hips. My head tilts back, unable to stop myself from giving into his touch, exposing my neck more to him, his chest rumbling as he licks the side of my skin, kissing and nipping, placing his scent over me. I am completely and utterly at his mercy. I vaguely hear material ripping, and then his warm hand cups me. "You're not finished yet," his voice is thick and deep, and it shoots straight to my tingling, pulsing core. His touch is almost possessive, and I nearly beg him to do whatever he wants with me. "Should I make it better?" His whisper is a caress against my ear before he nips the lobe, a bite promising that this would not be tender. - Daily chapter uploads -

Mated To The Cruel Prince

To be loved. He would never have her heart!  Or could he?  ________ "What can you offer me, little human," He grinned, slow and cruel. She would make such a wonderful plaything.  "Please," She begged him, tears now gathering in her eyes, "Just let me go."  "Fine," He shrugged as if it was an easy request, "You can go."  "W-what?" She croaked, finding it hard to believe.  "Little human, you would find out my mind changes very easily." Those words sounded merciful yet she could sense the threat beneath.  But did he really mean?  Islinda didn't sit around to find out as she broke into a sprint. If there was even the slightest chance of him changing his mind, then she would take it. She would not give up hope yet.  She didn't know why but Islinda spared a look over her shoulder after a while and the blood drained from her face at what she saw coming.  Oh no, she just made a terrible mistake.  This was never freedom.  It was a hunt.  And she just became the prey.  _________ Note: This is a dark fantasy book and the male lead is a villain, so don't expect fluffy romance. What to expect? Death, gore, thick sexual tension, and explicit scenes. Also, it is not reverse harem. Gift magic castle = 5 bonus chapters! Come, let us have a wild hunt!
