Chapter 15: Meeting the Phantom Troupe (Spiders)

He knocked on his grandfather's room and then entered. He saw his grandfather meditating while sitting on his bed. His grandfather sensing him entering, opened his eyes, and motioned him to set in front of him.

"Hey grandpa, what is our plan for the next few weeks?" asked Geno.

"well, after checking everything is ok here, we were going the republic of Padokea to visit the Zoldyck family. You don't know any of your generations right?" explained Leonard to his grandson.

"Why do you ask by the way?" asked Leonard while looking at his grandson.

"Well, grandpa, you see. I was collecting news about the outside world for the past few months, especially about the powerful, and I found a group of wanted criminals with high bounties and I want to fight them. They seem powerful with interesting abilities." Explained Geno with a sparkle in his eyes and a battle intent that filled the room.

"Well, I don't see any reason why not but have you investigated where they are?" asked Leonard with an amused expression while looking at the battle intent radiating from his grandson.

"well, I investigated their information and know that they received a mission not long ago about Kurta clan Scarlet eyes. So, I was thinking if we couldn't catch up with them, we could find the kurta clan first" said Geno while licking his lips and his battle intent was over the roof.

"But do you know where the kurta clan lives? I heard they went into hiding." Said Leonard.

"Yup, I found that they reside in Lukso province. So, let's hurry or we will miss the chance," said Geno while holding Leonard's hand pulling him. He couldn't wait anymore.

"Are you going to save the Kurta Clan?" inquired Leonard.

Geno stopped and looked at his grandfather with a confused look on his face.

"And why I would do that? I don't know them. They are neither my family nor friends. Do you want me to save them, grandpa?" asked Geno. Leonard was one of a few that Geno spoke to politely, even in the family.

"No, I don't care about them. I just want to know your way of thinking." Said Leonard with a pleased look on his face.

They then traveled to the Nancha town outside Lukso province. They then rode on some pikos that lived in the forest. They traveled through the forest. Soon they would reach the Kurta clan.

During this time, A blond and handsome ten-year-old boy was exploring Nanch town doing his clan test, not knowing that his whole clan would be massacred. That boy was Kurapika. He was now confronting some thieves trying to catch them.

He was about to finish his clan test and would soon return to spend time with his childhood friend Pairo.

Geno and his grandfather reached the Kurta clan and they saw people lying on the ground and their eyes were dug out, blood covered the ground. They saw ten people standing in the middle of the massacre while the muscular man with spiky grayish hair was holding a soulless body of a boy trying to dig his eyes out.

Geno looked at the scene with disgust. Don't get it wrong, he just didn't like the idea of digging someone's eyes. He was alright with the killing but not digging their eyes.

He then turned his eyes to the others and licked his lips. His battle and killing intent entangled together putting pressure on everyone and making their bodies stiff.

The spiders sensing the pressure and hearing their bodies yelling at them to escape, turned their heads to look at the young boy releasing all that pressure and killing intent. They didn't even look at the old man next to him.

"Well, well, the spiders at last. I have been searching for you. Where is the rest?? Aren't you supposed to be twelve members besides your head?" said Geno while looking at them like he was looking at his prey.

"Who are you?" shouted the muscular man.

"If I were you, I would run at this moment." Said the man wearing a Rob while unsheathing his sword.

��Uvogin, Nobunaga, stay back." Said the man with the cross on his forehead.

"Let me torture them. We can find what they came here for." Said the main that hides half of his face with his won't collar.

"haha, grandpa, aren't they lovely? They will be my practice doll for today." Said Geno mocking them.

Geno then unsheathed his short sword while moving toward the spiders.
