Will the lessons of chemistry be helpful to the students? Is there something bigger running the entire school or is there an industry developing from the school itself? Vaughn is a man of many talents, skills, and ideals. Business comes first for him but that will change once he takes a step into his class changing his beliefs that runs his everyday life. "Give an artist an inspiration... they'll make art. Give a student hope.... they'll thrive and be the best they can be. Give an army a stockpile of weapons... they'll create nothing but piles of bodies and mayhem along their path. I wonder sometimes if my students are actually listening to my lessons. I sure do hope they get more excited over science." -Professor Vaughn Killford.

Lord of War

After another week of school with most students being busy with their school activities. Meanwhile me supplying another war going on in the south-east. I'll be meeting the bastards running the war. Of course I'll be needing the money to supply the new production of my special bullets that I learnt from Joseph. After seeing it's potential I can even improve it with my own design.

I've even made one with a White Phosphorous core to melt through armor. I can fulfill my goal of creating something made for war. The client today I'll be meeting just needs a lot of rifles for their army. I'll give them good enough firepower without breaking the bank assuming they have one.

"The war economy is very much important for all of us." As I said this to myself while drinking scotch. After a few minutes, I packed up the things I'll be meeting them in the Boneyard. I brought my gun and some of my armor just in case things get hairy.

I arrived there quite early in the Boneyard. I began calling out my men to bring out the crates they'll be getting from us. Crates filled with rifles good enough to last for a few full blast years. No failures as per testing all munitions are all okay and so few failures. Which is expected on a good set of ammo.

The client arrives at the boneyard with all of his men surrounding him as a bodyguard as I began my introduction. "Mr. General welcome to the boneyard."

"Ah, you must be the well known Mr. Killjoy. Yes, I think you've already heard our requests? Give us rifles that are within the best of price to arm 3000 men." As I open one of the crates to showcase the weapon I've recommended for the General.

"Here is one of the most reliable weapon systems in the world. Known to arm dozens of millions of men and children who fought for their freedom. Except this one is modern, the AK-104 it's essentially a shorter variant of the well loved AK-47. This one is still one of the best out there and I've already built all of them to your spec especially with your military's history."

Seems like he's liking the rifles. The men he brought with him to test some out were impressed how accurate it was and how easy and light it is due to being rebuilt to their standards.

"I'll take it then Mr. Killjoy how many do you have in stock? Surely it can arm all 3000 of us."

"Yes, but let's take it a bit further I have enough stock of this variant to arm 9000 men Mr. General."

"I see I know you do love your wars but we're ordering this for our reserve units are you really sure you want us to take these high end weaponry for our reserves?"

"Well no doubt that I want you to take the best. I do believe that giving the best to your reserves is an important tactic if when your main forces are out in a pinch the reserves won't be surprised and have their pants down on their feet."

"You do have a point there Mr. Killjoy. We'll take 6000 of them we'll be also intending to give the other 3000 to some of our frontline men. Is the ammunition a problem as well?"

"No, Mr. General in fact I have here an entire shipping container of ammunition for your guns that can supply all 6000 of them. You can always ask for more ammunition that's not a problem on our side we can just follow them up if you need to."

"Thanks for the offer Mr. Killjoy but these might do enough for my squad that is."

"I assure you Mr. General the weapons will be very useful for you and your men out there in the field."

As hands were shaken and money had transferred time passes a few days later just to be informed that General and his entire squad got wiped off the face of the earth with a missile strike. That's war for you, despite the new equipment they had they didn't won against a single missile strike. It's a bit harsh but that's the reality of war everything is unexpected until you just die at a blink of an eye.

Like a sniper from a distance. You might be lucky to might even hear the sound of a high-powered rifle if you did better keep your head down. If you didn't you just realized you're lying in the ground bleeding. I open up a new bottle of scotch to celebrate the war effort and the celebration of my first successful client who is in the military.

And also less cleaning for those who make messes at the same time. Wars are a big mess, it's nice that you just provide them with the necessary tools and they'll fight for you for even the smallest and the most ridiculous request just to have a reason to be in a war. As an ex-soldier and a ex-contract killer I know how things go through behind the scenes of a war.

Usually its something inhumane, like drug deals using war as a cover up. Fighting over a simple island so secretly they can make decisions about nuclear weapons. Using war to take advantage of human trafficking. All this can happen in a war whether it's a scripted war or an actual someone has to take advantage of war.

As for me? I just rake in the money from the contracts they gave me for selling them guns and munitions nothing more, nothing less. Null is a questionable group because I do have a hunch I know someone who is part of Null. I just can't put my finger on it.

This is the next part of this conflict-filled world behind rose-colored glasses. I can and cannot tell when will Null finally act out and show themselves. I know I'm ready, I know I will. They have a problem with me and so be it I'll take them head on. For the children and students I know do please be safe in the midst of all the madness that will be happening in the next few weeks.

It's odd that I was able to keep up with the development of weapons that will fight against Null's Mechs. Are they letting me keep up with them? Or is it Joseph's intel is really that detailed. Need further investigation and experimentation to confirm this hypothesis.

People come and go buying guns from Vaughn just to be wiped off the face of the earth what effort right? Did you like the new chapter if so a review or comment is appreciated!
