Will the lessons of chemistry be helpful to the students? Is there something bigger running the entire school or is there an industry developing from the school itself? Vaughn is a man of many talents, skills, and ideals. Business comes first for him but that will change once he takes a step into his class changing his beliefs that runs his everyday life. "Give an artist an inspiration... they'll make art. Give a student hope.... they'll thrive and be the best they can be. Give an army a stockpile of weapons... they'll create nothing but piles of bodies and mayhem along their path. I wonder sometimes if my students are actually listening to my lessons. I sure do hope they get more excited over science." -Professor Vaughn Killford.

A Calling

A day or two has passed since I've been on the run and I'm currently living in a abandoned flat. With nothing left, surprisingly I was able to buy food. I started to notice the city is filled with cameras more than usual. Then again I have to leave the city if I want to avoid all of the monitoring of my movements.

It's either I have to leave and abandon my students for the sake of my safety or... I have to create a new identity for myself. From the looks of it the city is still a bit shaken by the sudden terrorist attack on the school recently. And seems like they've seeking protection from the Organization.

I tell you the life on the run is not easy. I was raided multiple times now it wasn't easy sleeping at night since anytime they can raid you. I still managed to find my way through around communities and got enough supplies to survive. Sooner or later I'll be out of money and I need to earn while on the run.

Wait... What if I raid my old warehouses? There should be some crates of guns there I haven't stamped yet. So it's still fresh goods, I mean they're probably not worried that I'm taking my old stuff back and reselling it. I can start over, yeah... I can do this.

After 5 days of recovering the remaining goods I found. I managed to get 3 crates of 300 guns each crate. This should suffice I could rack up more than a million here if I manage to sell this to the highest bidder. So I began looking for people around the darker parts of town and began negotiating with them selling this premium guns for a good price. Some agreed on a higher price, some took a bit of time to be convinced on a price.

Some were easy to negotiate. Overall I was managed to sell all 300 of them for a good amount of money being a sweet 21.3 Million USD. How they were sold in a higher price was no joke they're all expensive high quality rifles made with premium parts for the best longevity and accuracy over time. Gangsters, basic criminals, heisters you name it my selling tactics still works. I need raid the warehouses again for more supplies. Hopefully those are the better rifles.

I headed back to one of the weapons warehouses and I managed to get lucky and got 5 crates. First of all I need to gain as much capital as possible. I go by the alias 'Dealer' for now and I just act as the one who brings the guns to them so my work is basically selling the guns and delivering them. It is a pain in the ass knowing that I have to do all of this again.

But then again I have to since I have to start from somewhere.

Late night after 2 weeks on the run... I was sharpening my knives while reminiscing the memories that used to be nice. I remembered my wife when she was alive. I'm doing the best I can hoping that I would fix what I have destroyed. Ethel and Kailey... I have to do this I know I already stopped being a soldier years ago do I really have a choice?

I looked over the small gap on my window blind to check the situation outside. It feels too familiar to me again being on the run. After that I had to wear my disguise to buy some food outside. I stumbled upon a paper about the school looking for new teachers after the incident which left many students without any homeroom teachers...

Wait is this a calling? I could still go back and teach my students! I need a convincing disguise though. I can take on a new hairdo anyways. As I write my application form sending it to the school via mail. I begin my transformation by changing my hair color from black to a gradient grey I did have experience making good disguises to the point that the Organization thought I was somebody else. This will be good plus I can assist them in the development of the material behind the scenes.

After 2 days I began my shape up training to get to the look I'm looking for the new disguise I'll be taking on. Training harder than usual to get a proper built body. I'm still a Chemistry teacher I began my profiling and write my background to look as legit as possible making as many records as possible and anything that might be used to find out about me.

This job is my calling... I must get this job as quick as possible. Knowing that a few days ago North Reyleigh Academy just got their security upgraded by getting the Organization as their security force. Looks like they're expecting me to go back here at some point. But how about I infiltrate it from the inside. Knowing they don't know I actually do infiltrations before I joined the Organization.

It was a different can of worms my old group before I joined the Organization... They were called Zero, meaning they don't have any traces in this world nothing. I was part of that group for a while we do our own thing knowing that we won't get traced. It was a whole different world being a group of professionals who stay behind the scenes doing all the dirty work that other groups or organizations couldn't do.

Actually killing those who are worth killing. To be completely honest my life would have been more quiet if I didn't left Zero but things happened and that incident was the reason why I lost both my wife and daughter. Zero forced me out of the group to join the Organization to get myself together after the incident.

Then again after I got my shit together. I suddenly wanted to teach kids. The feeling of telling someone a solution to a problem then they do it themselves using the ways you taught them was a satisfying... But my first experience with that was with teaching other kid soldiers how I took down a person twice my size with hand-to-hand combat. Let's just say it wasn't the best spark of enlightenment for me.

Vaughn is in the run and has been struggling with funds ever since all of his assets were frozen but he had found a solution how to fix that issue and return to his teaching job by means of infiltrating the enemy. Did you love the chapter? A comment or review is appreciated.
