Honkai Star Rail: Sea of Stars

A formless figure resides within a void of black. Within this void lies 1 single thing, a pitch-black darkness so deep that closing your eyes would allow you to see more clearly.

The figure lies still as if waiting for something to happen, for something to bring a shift to the eternal monotony of the infinite expanse of black.

An orb of light, so faint that it seems almost a trick of light appears in front of the figure. It weakly flutters toward the figure, flickering in and out of existence before making contact with the chest of the figure, and embedding itself inside.

At first, nothing changes. As if the events that just occurred never took place at all.

But then, a dim light begins to emanate from the figure, slowly increasing to a light that radiates fiercely, enveloping the figure within its radiance.

The light continues to grow, increasing in magnitude each second, illuminating the void around it.

Then, as abruptly as it began, the light suddenly stopped increasing. The void has been transformed into what could be called a realm of light, and that isn't the only thing that's changed.

The previously formless figure begins to slowly change, gaining various identifying features.

With black, dull eyes, black hair, and a tall stature, a person is formed out of what was once a formless figure.

And with a sudden jolt, the person's eyes gain light, and they begin to speak.

"What's going on?! Where am I!?"

An ethereal voice begins to whisper, its voice piercing through the panic of the boy.

"You have been taken here by the will of a higher force, and given a gift for your memories. Now go."

As the last sentence is uttered by the voice, in an instant, the surroundings around the boy change from a white expanse to a grassy meadow immersed with a dim blue light.
