Chapter 2

Fenrir sat alone on his bed reading the book Luner gave him. It was strange, stranger than he would've liked it to be. He sighed then repeated what he always did when unusual things happened.

"If it can't be explained, it's bad for me"

He didn't expect a reply, but he also didn't expect for Luner to be sharing a dorm with him.

"Ay, Fen! Watcha doing?" He chirped, looking intensely at Fenrir. Fenrir just looked at him with a bored expression.

"Reading up on how to channel the moons magical wave into simple spells" Fenrir said dryly, holding up the book. Luner chuckled then yawned.

"I heard you hate anything magical. Gonna hate Mr. Binns class then, he's a ghost" Luner explained.

"A ghost CAN be explained, according to articles, if someone dies too suddenly and is connected to a place where a lot of emotional energy just happens to lie around, they become a ghost. Of course my own research leads me to believe that if there is such ghosts here, it would be the magical energy, not emotional energy, which I suppose would be the case" Fenrir explained, opening up a new book and wrote something down. He then paused before looking at Luner,

"It could also be that, since we're talking about literal magic and since I have proof it does sadly exist I must take it into account, that a spell could've been placed. But I'm sure that didn't happen, as I said, it could just be the magical energy" Fenrir finished. Luner looked at him dumbstruck,

"Fen what the heck man." Luner whispered. Fenrir shrugged then went back to writing, it was silent before Fenrir spoke up again.

"I came to a conclusion! You cannot harness the moons power, as no such thing even existed in the first place, you must be able to simply gather enough of the light energy it provides. Its only hard because this energy is significantly more difficult than- Oh hello Draco" Fenrir cut off, greeting the boy who had just walked in, Fenrir then went back to explaining.

"It's only more difficult than normal magic because we aren't drawing the energy from our bodies, instead from a source that is millions of miles away, if we were to get closer to it however, we could experience something known as Energy Malfunction. This is when we either gather too much or too little energy and it makes us either pass out, fall ill, or in rare circumstances, pass away. The earth saves us by casting what is known today as a magic seal for wizards. Basically, the earth uses magic itself, which brings me to the more reasonable theory, the Gravitational energy as I like to call it. I believe, if given enough time, one could use the energy, or magic as you lot like to call it, that the earth gives off to boost your magic, so I believe we all are just people who have breeded the gene to simply collect and disperse energy at will." Fenrir finished, shocking both of the Malfoy Twins.

"That's my Fen" Luner cheered, snapping out of his confused state. Draco was still confused but decided to let it go.
