Oiketsu and Todo's brawl continued in their favor for the third year. His experience on the field alongside his very annoying technique allowed him to dominate Oiketsu with him being without any innate techniques. While vast amounts of the cursed energy in the boy could make up for not having a technique, it was useless going up against Todo.
'Oiketsu's physical abilities are far superior than ours, but even then he is unable to pose a challenge to Todo…' People on the sidelines knew about Todo's abilities, but seeing him use that in person was totally different. He was overpowering everyone with ease.
The younger sorcerer took another punch in the face, as Todo used Boogie Woogie the moment Kamo was about to deliver the kick. Oiketsu's face was bloodied but there was something that the youngster had that others didn't. This was a reversed cursed technique, granting him the ability to heal himself only. The wound on his lips instantly healed up, and the blood got retracted back into the body.
"Reversed cursed technique… I did not know you possessed this." Todo was surprised to see the technique in use. After all, you could count all users of the healing technique on your hands. There were barely any, most of them belonging to the Tokyo Jujutsu High.
Oiketsu played it cool, "Had to compensate for not having the innate technique somehow, otherwise, Kamo clan would've probably kicked me out." Matter of fact, it was not just compensation, its appearance was even more unexpected than the Blood Manipulation technique. If Oiketsu was to learn projecting Reversed Cursed Technique on others, who would've been an invaluable asset to the clan… not that he would like this.
"That's even better!" Todo screamed and prepared to make another dash forward to fight the sorcerer.
Clap
Two halted their steps, "Oiketsu, Todo, we could've avoided any fights at least on the first day." It was Utahime Iori who stepped between the two's fight and stopped them from further continuing the brawl.
"Besides, I've warned you multiple times not to fight at all. Unless in the designated for training areas. This is…not the area."
"Utahime-san, it won't happen again." Oiketsu immediately went to apologize to the woman, while Noritoshi handed the jacket to Todo.
With a reluctant nod, she continued, "I'll be expecting both of you to uphold this promise in the future. Now then, let's proceed."
…
There were only a few things I could do at Jujutsu high. Most of it concentrated around learning more about the cursed energy and cursed spirits. Kyoto was a sacred land of Jujutsu, and this school accumulated a lot of knowledge in its walls. Although I also had something to search for, and that was my family tree.
The thing is, apparently my mother was exiled from the clan the moment I was able to live on without my mother's milk. Something very weird, then I was left to be raised by some clan members. Noritoshi had a similar situation, but that happened way later in his life. My clan has hid every piece of information about my biological mother, restricting access to clan archives as well.
But one thing I knew was that they definitely expected me to awaken Blood Manipulation technique… however, when they didn't see me with it, they got very angry. So angry that they were planning on pushing me out of the clan, that's when I had to think of something else and that was RCT.
Blood Manipulation technique is passed down in the main branch of the Kamo family, and its awakening is very rare. Although, it's still more present than even that of Six Eyes or Ten Shadows. Those two balance out the world of Jujutsu. Right now I could only theorize about my family tree…
"Oiketsu, what are you doing alone in the classroom?" My thought process was interrupted by the appearance of Utahime. She was surprised to see me all alone during the first day of school.
I shook my head, "Just got lost in thought." She probably sensed the disturbance in my mind by now.
"Anything else I could be of help?" Not really, she wouldn't be of help at the moment, but there were still things I had to discuss with her. My potential transfer to Tokyo Jujutsu High, because my relationship with the clan is only going downhill.
"Utahime-san, is it possible for me to transfer to Tokyo Jujutsu High?" My question shouldn't be too weird right? Her face turned much more serious than it was before. Probably due to the fact that the question came out of nowhere from the student…
"Oiketsu, why would you want to transfer? The school semester has already started. You should know what it also means for a clan member such as yourself to transfer…" She spoke with concern, as if not against it, but also warning me of something. I totally understood her.
"I've been stuck on the grade two for a year now, and higher ups are in no consideration of granting me a higher grade due to me not meeting their standards. If I don't get stronger I'll be unable to rise further… this school is unable to help me with anything either, because I don't have innate technique."
My explanation was logical. Only thing I had in this school that others didn't was reversed cursed technique, and only people that had this technique were all in Tokyo. I should rather develop it further in that school and not here, along with the strongest sorcerer in the world. The principal also overlooked a lot of things in students due to his conservative views.
"You chose the worst possible time…"
"Utahime-san, if only you could give me the contact information of Gojo Satoru, I 'll handle the rest." She had to contemplate for multiple minutes, massaging her temples, considering every possible outcome probably. She eventually gave in and gave me the number which I could dial to contact Gojo Satoru.
…
Satoru Gojo was calmly seated alongside Masamichi Yaga, current principal of the Tokyo Jujutsu High, who was also previously his teacher here. It was rare to hear of a student transfer, and having some clan member wanting to transfer was even rarer. Usually, the higher-ups would be trying their best to prevent this, but there they were.
Gojo was waiting with his phone placed on the desk. Two of the people were eagerly anticipating the call.
Ring
Masamichi nodded before Gojo answered the call by clicking on the green button on his phone. First few seconds it was silent, probably due to not catching the signal, but then they heard the collected voice of somebody else. "Hello, am I speaking with Gojo Satoru?"
"Right on!"
Relieved sigh came from the other side, "Utahime-san has given me your number to discuss possible transfer to Tokyo Jujutsu High, I'm Oiketsu Kamo, a second year student at Kyoto." Gojo Satoru already knew of this person, after all, the Kyoto Goodwill event last year took an unexpected turn by introducing first years into the competition from both schools.
"That right, that's right. Didn't think Utahime would actually give you my number, but hey! Isn't that good for both of us?"
"Right."
"Either way, I could help with the transfer, the principal of our school is also seated next to me. There's no other people hearing us, so you can also mention the sudden reason as to why you want to transfer. Maybe we could also provide some help… be confident that nobody else aside from us would know this information." Believe it or not, Gojo and Yaga could keep secrets well.
"The thing is… I've hid something from my clan, I haven't stolen anything or anything like this. But aside from the Noritoshi Kamo, I also possess the blood manipulation technique. I don't have a wish to be bound in chains by my clan for hiding such things, nor would I like to be further entangled in their clan affairs."
Yaga and Gojo looked at each other, dead into each other's eyes. The second had his eyes covered but the seriousness of the situation could easily be guessed. This revelation by Oiketsu… he was in possession of a reversed cursed technique alongside blood manipulation technique?
'That's… unheard of.' From the words of Utahime, the only thing that differentiated Oiketsu from others was the RCT and Cursed Energy levels in his body, that was it! It was interesting how Oiketsu hid his possession of the technique? Did he get overlooked because of Noritoshi's awakening of the technique?
"Satoru…I can arrange it." Masamichi Yaga nodded at the white haired, promising that he'll make the transfer possible. Both of them got much more invested in the matter than they could predict it. Utahime did say it was quite urgent…but she didn't mention it to be like this. Satoru could guess that even she didn't know of Blood Manipulation technique.
'Just like Megumi, Oiketsu is also an asset. While not as potent as the Ten Shadows, he is in possession of two very useful techniques… interesting, how durable does he become when using both?' Gojo was already fantasizing about his future, leaving Oiketsu without a concrete answer.
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot, wait for my call in the next few days! We will try to sort things out,bye bye!"
…
I waited for the night to dawn over the residence of Kamo. This would be my last chance to visit this place. My last chance to get hold of at least some type of information. Maybe about myself or my mother. The smartphone showed the time of 2 AM in the morning, meaning the right time to attempt my infiltration. Lights were out and it was awfully quiet.
Kamo residence was located close to the forest, so night animals were also very frequent. They made noises that could cover mine. I had no trouble going inside the residence, but now I had to find the right building where Kamo's cursed weapons and tools were stored. In the same building there is an archive and of course, the place is usually guarded by at least one person. I could sense two this time around.
The wards that were set around the residence detect only outsiders, not the people with Kamo blood. So, I could totally go in undetected and come out. Another thing is how I deal with the guards… knocking them out with shock delivered to their brains seems like the best option. With reverse cursed technique I should be able also remove any type of brain damage before it gets ugly.
I approached the building from the front door. Under the cover of night, guards were unable to see me, but when I move in a bit closer they would be able to sense my cursed presence. Until they recognize me, I should deliver a fast knockout… in the worst case, I should kill them. Though, I must remain cautious about anything, I can't exactly know if more won't show up during the night.
Nobody has infiltrated Kamo for a long time, the guards are remaining pretty lenient during the days and nights alike. Much as I anticipated when I shortened the distance between me and the guards, they were able to notice my presence.

…
Flip Flip
I was meticulously searching for the documents inside of the Kamo Archives. Had I known at least the name I was supposed to search for it would've been quicker, but there weren't many. Only thing I could search for now was the documentation about the clan exiles, where my mother could've been written in.
Though there is no folder with a title "Exiles", but I had an idea about how to search for it… Kamo Noritoshi, an exile of 150 years ago, the most vile sorcerer in the Jujutsu world, the stain of Kamo… I took out my smartphone just in case, prepared to take photos of the documents. This way I'll leave this archive untouched.
I undusted countless folders, checked so many that I was more surprised by the amount they held here. But instead of the folder I searched for, I found a box in which I could see sealed documents… at the bottom of the box, there was a fairly old document wrapped in a piece of parchment having the engraving of the Kamo clan. Meanwhile at the top of the clans there were other documents dated between 2003 and 2005. This went on until the year… 2010.
Year after I was born… exactly when my mother should've been exiled, this one should be it. I carefully opened the case, inside was definitely a documentation about a woman. There was no picture… but everything written would be enough.
I read out the name, because that's the only thing there is Akari. My mother's name should be Akari. Exiled in 2003, sixteenth of January, exactly on my birthday… her current status and whereabouts, unknown. Origins are also unknown. This begs the question, as to why the Kamo's accepted her in the first place and why the clan head, or particularly my father, welcomed her in the clan only to exile her later.
My head was aching just from thinking about all this mess. I took the picture of the documentation, I'll try to do more research about this later on. The clan archives appeared to be a fully unreliable source of information. The last thing I could attempt is get the information out of people's mouths or get the government's official documentation about my mother's identity… though the second option seems much harder.
I left the clan grounds as unnoticed as I first came in.
…
The second day of teaching in the Kyoto Jujutsu High started calmly, unlike the previous day with Oiketsu's and Todo's brawl. Today, the four classmates were seated together in the class, waiting for their teacher to arrive. Obviously, the jujutsu high schools incorporated teachings that didn't just revolve around cursed energy. Normal school subjects were still being taught.
After one of those lessons, the students had time to rest. "I can't believe we will be participating in the Exchange Event this year!" The person who was too excited about small things… was always energetic Miwa. For her this would be the first time, just like for others except for Oiketsu who was also a participant in the event previous year.
"Hey, Oiketsu. How was it when you participated? Was it too hard?" The questions rained down upon the poor soul, as Mai and Mechamaru also got interested in how it was in 2017's Kyoto Goodwill Event…
"I can't really tell you much, I was there because Kyoto lacked students… Either way we lost. Yuta Okkotsu ust rummaged through us with ease. To be honest, even though he felt a bit inexperienced and relied a lot on his cursed spirit, he was still too strong. He even defeated Todo-senpai easily." Oiketsu's explanation went without Miwa's interjection,
"I also heard he joined Tokyo's school way late, and that is why he lacked experience…"
Oiketsu nodded, "That's right. Either way, if Okkotsu is to participate this year, we-…we won't have much chances of winning either. The Special Grade sorcerers are in the league of their own, even multiple First Grader sorcerers won't be enough." The hesitation in Oiketsu's words went unnoticed thankfully.
The talk about the event continued further, until Utahime Iori entered the room and interrupted their talk. She called for Oiketsu to come outside of the room, and told him that the principal Gakuganji required his presence in the office. That'll be his first time even entering that room, meaning it meant to be serious.
I knocked on the office door before entering. When I heard the confirmation to enter, I opened the door and stepped inside. To my surprise, it wasn't just principal Gakuganji who I saw in the room.
No…
There was also a white-haired sorcerer, who can't be mistaken for somebody else. That blindfolded man was Gojo Satoru, the special grade sorcerer… the strongest in the world. His nonchalant expression in front of Gakuganji… he is the only one who could get away with those antics. I was relieved, I didn't miss with my judgment to trust Gojo Satoru in this matter.
"Hey yo, how are you?" Gojo waved his right hand to get my attention and smiled. Meanwhile Gakuganji's eyes were darkened, I couldn't tell what he was about to say, but I could understand that he meant for me to sit down for serious talk. I did so, took a seat on a cushion in front of Gojo and waited.
