Lawrence Flyn was many things. Served in the army during WW2, he took place in many battles. He wasn't particularly strong or even incredibly skilled with guns. For the longest time he didn't know why he lived, when so many friends of his died. At the Omaha Beach, he saw so many of his fellow soldiers cut down by enemy fire and explosions. During his time out of the army, many of his fellow soldiers had died from their debilitating injuries. He found out though. But she too was killed during their trip to Hawaii when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. He joined the army, not out of patriotism, but hate. His spite for the world grew like a fire from that day on. Hoping for himself to die in the war, he never got his wish. The years went on but still, his spite never left him. It wasn't until the year 2010 at the tender age of 95 that he finally saw his foolishness. All that bitterness and hate he carried made him miserable. Life was unfair, but one should never give up on the smallest chance to be happy. In his retirement home he began to make friends with the other residents. Finding hobbies and talking with them. Eventually, he got into anime. It was introduced by one of his friend's Grandsons when he visited. He used the time he had left to indulge in the shows made by the Country he loathed until just recently. He spent the rest of his days comfortably, waiting to be reunited with his Lover once again when he finally passed on in 2018. That was what Raven Branwen remembered right after killing the Maiden to acquire her powers. She fell to her knees and shivered with tears in her magically blazing eyes. "Wh..What have I.. done..?"

Synopsis A girl from our world got reincarnated in one piece as nami. Well I am not good at writing synopsis without spoiling the story. This is my second attempt on a story on Nami. Originally I was planning to bring the OG Nami from future to the past, like I have done with Hancock. But then I realised that Nami might be intelligent, but she is not strong. Atleast compared to the other straw hats. Her main strength was her intelligence. I am talking about both physical strength and will. That's why I decided to go in the reincarnation route again. This is going to be different from my other fanfictions. I have no intention of making Nami one of the top straw hats. As you can guess from the story title, this is an one piece AU. That means a lot of thing will be different. Nami will be strong. Way stronger then canon. But not comparable to monster trio. And before you complain, let me tell you that, monster trio will be a lot stronger than the monster trio of canon as well. Now on to the points which I am going to focus in the story. Character building No system Realistic struggle of the MC (I won't make it cringy, but considering the kind of World One Piece is, there will be some realistic struggle unlike the Sigma system) R-18 (you know, Nami is Nami. I have not decided to add smut yet. But ecchi ? Definitely !) Ecchi-Comedy (this is something I am going to try for the first time. I have been experimenting with this in my Sakura fics. I will try my best to make you laugh with double meaning jokes.) Weak to strong characters OP straw hats Canon different straw hats Tragedy (A lot of tragedy is going to happen in the first part of the story. I am going to cover Nami's childhood. It will also serve as her training arc. So don't expect it to be light.) Blood and Gore I have a great story line in mind. And I am going to write it regardless of my schedules. I will try to make it better than my current favourite one piece Sigma system. I am telling this with confidence, because the story in my mind for this one, is really solid. I hope you like it. Author Here! Firstly I must say a big thank you to all who have read this novel. This is my very first published work which I started for fun during the lockdown until I had to relocate countries, pausing the book at Volume 4. I still consider myself as an Author in training and am in no way a professional at writing, so there will be mistakes, plot holes and inconsistencies. I am hoping my readers (casual or dedicated) will draw my attention to helping improve the story. I love the story even with its flaws and only hope that I can bring my imaginations to life with this book while not making a mess of the One Piece legacy but adding a WHAT IF scenario to the already epic story.

Let's start off with the positives. Grammar wise this story is perfect. Now this story wasn't a reincarnation, if it was most of the MC in counter with the main cast, and his ''we will meet if fate dictates it'' would've made sense and not plot convenience it seemed to me you were trying to create your own story but you didn't. You simply created an MC with reincarnated opportunities. Second Mc starts off with a drive but all of sudden it changes he wanted to avenge his family and village but becomes a marine n spares people. what happen to the boy who lost everything I get his sense of justice changed but that kinda vengeance doesn't just go away it needs to quench. also, you quite seem to downplay the white bread and big mom pirates knowing they have territory in fish man island and around the world. I can go on about but it's not the worst fan fic but it's not the best story I've read either.

This fiction is going in my favourite list. The character development, background, writing quality all is perfect. . Loved how the author added originality to the story by adding the unique marine training arcs. Author must have worked hard to come up with that stuff. Really had fun reading this. . logia that can’t create it’s element is really a cow dung, on the other hand why it’s a logia if you made it into paramecia it could be reasonable, like unless he awakens he can only control sea and not create it

I dIdint enjoy it, characters seem very one dimensional and almost every chapter is mostly the mc talking to himself or timeskips. It almost seems like a a short summary oF actions rather than a story detailing those actions.

Its amazing, I was writing an in-depth review but I’m writing on a iPad and while i was about to finish I guess the iPad thought I swiped right and it closed the add a review screen. 😭 So here’s something short and simple. The mc is strong (For the current area in the story) and a great leader, starts a year after rogers death so there is years for him to grow. Give the story a try you won’t be disappointed.

Had to end my reading of this novel at chapter 84. The WG cutting of the entire Marines, which is essentially their state military, because they chose to let some self-righteous upstart run around freely doing w.e he wants, even though they're aware his DV is special, should be a deal breaker for any One Piece fan. Not only did this Author butcher One Piece's established history by inserting his MC as a destined one, he also showed zero respect to the characters by lowering their IQ to make things convenient for his MC. It's lazy and forces the readers to dumb down their own intelligence just so they can carry on reading. The MC, as well, has no semblance of a personality. All he has is motivation, and that's it. The 1 dimension to his personality is he is self-righteous and thinks he can do anything he wants as long as he thinks it's right, leading to him and his thoughts being more frustrating to read than the fact that everyone around him is several times dumber than their canon counterparts. Not that the other characters feel 'real' either. The OCs have no personality and it's impossible to distinguish them if not for their codenames. The only way to salvage this god-awful novel is to switch the pov to the straw hats and just focus on their interactions with the MC. Not that it matters when the WG is literally going to war against their own military for the dumbest reason a mentally functional person could think of. All in all, the only good thing about this fanfic is the pacing. And that's just talking about pacing relatively, given that One Piece fanfics tend to rush through the timeline like they're never going to run out of content. I probably missed a lot of flaws but I don't think it matters. This should be enough to discourage enough with half a brain from reading this god-awful take on One Piece.

5 stars to all stats. because i saw no problem reading till chapter 37. no misspellings, grammar, or plotholes. there's also that originality of the author and gis take on his own oc friut. great work for the author and a high five for you.

Let me be the 10th of review! This is a refreshing Fan-Fic of a small kid who dreams big, gets his OP break and still remains hardworking chasing his own justice. The world continues to move and the story is kind of focused on the consequences of the MC interaction be it good or bad. I have read a lot more chapters and can say that the story does surprise you as it continues. Read it, if you want to see a WHAT IF version to the original works by Oda sensei

It reminds me of John Ringo one of my all-time favorite writers it's shows the strength that a united and driven navy unit can accomplish with strong leadership and honorable goals it's not a one man story with the main character doing everything

WQ 5 stars, no problems encountered so far, no wrong grammars, misspellings , or either wrong structuring of sentences. SD 5 stars, good high quality plotline, many things are original so far, so I'm still waiting for more adventures. CD 4 stars, should have been 3 stars like my last review but because the author hasn't used canon characters more often so it has increased by a star. 3 stars earlier because it is my respect for Odas original Characters. US 5 stars, author is famous for his mass releases, so definitely 5 stars. WB 3 stars, as respect for the original creater of the one piece world.

I do enjoy the novel, but the latter half is a bit forced. I don't think it was necessary to put in a lot of Strawhats content here. This is Ezra's story afterall. It just resulted to more mistakes and loopholes, like the future Pirate King would be a Marine.
