With the calm beating in her heart and the slow raising of her chest, Avina slowly breathed in and out. Her eyes locked onto Quin, carefully analyzing her next attack. Just as she expected, Quin decided to attack her left side, this time, aiming for the chest.
Quin's claws disabled her from attacking long-range. This was unexpectedly a blessing in disguise. When Quin rushed in and her abdomen left defenseless, Avina raised her hand. A light shined from her palms and she pushed this light into Quin, the warmth escaping her body into Quin's.
Quin stared open-eyed at the surprise attack. Warm energy flowed inside her, tingling her every sense. Before she had the time to wonder what it was, the warmth slowly grew hotter until it felt like molten lava.
