Back in her room, Avina pulled out some paper and quickly wrote down all the ingredients the medicine granny shared with her. When she was done, she called in Su Ning.
"Investigate if these ingredients can be used to make a poison," Avina said while handing Su Ning the list.
Su Ning took the list with wide eyes. She scanned the couple of ingredients and said, "But these are all common ingredients to treat colds. There's no point in investigating."
To that, Avina shook her head. She had been feeling an egging feeling ever since she realized it was Ji Fanyin who visited the shop. Even if it was an incorrect hunch, she wanted to be proven wrong after the investigation.
"Please investigate for me, Su Ning," Avina asked, "I need to to know."
Su Ning nodded. She had no clue why Avina wanted to investigate these ingredients, or where she even got the idea they could make poison, but she would do her best to investigate.
