Chapter One

"Your parents were incredibly smart and strong, your father used to work on the farms with us and your mother was also a CEO" He explained

"Well, I know that Ojii-san but what about their personalities?" I asked childishly

"Your mother was a strong woman, who believed in the most positive things and your father was a hard-worker who worked every day to provide for our family," He said with his Asian accent

I knew he was hiding something from me about my parents, as an agent, I took classes about reading body language and facial features.

"Well I'd better get going, there's still work I need to do for my own company," He said with a smile making his eyes nearly unnoticeable.

I looked at him and laughed "Ojii-san did father have eyes like you?" I asked.

"Yes...yes he did," He said looking angry

"Now your eyes are not even there, ojii-san," I said with a light chuckle

"You're lucky you have your mother's eyes otherwise I would be making fun of you too," He said looking at me with a slit-eyed glare

"Haha, well, you should get going now. I'm sure you have your own things to attend to," I said with a smile

"Yes, I will," He said as he walked towards the door

"Goodbye, Fantasia," He exclaimed

"Bye, ojii-san" I exclaimed back

Being with my uncle really brought peace to me and made me feel calm. Knowing the fact that he was still alive and well brought me joy since he was in fact one of the only other family members alive.

It was around 9 in the morning now and Carlos was probably a few minutes away from the building so, I signed a few more documents until he arrived.

"Ah, Miss Fantasia, pleasure meeting you today," He said

"Pleasure meeting you too" I stated back

"Well, I've come to sign a partnership with your company and my own" He explained

"Yes, It's okay I'm well informed on this partnership to-be," I told him

"Well, that's great now I don't need to explain anything" He exclaimed

"All I need to see is the documents"

"Here," He said with a smile

I quickly skimmed through the documents and signed one page after another.

"There, it's all signed," I stated

"Awesome, well, I hope we both have good futures," He said as he held out his hand

I shook his hand firmly and smiled at him "Great, I look forward to this partnership" I said with another smile.

"Well, you might as well sit for a while," I said as I poured him some Scotch Whisky

"Ah, Scotch Whisky, my favorite, you have quite the memory" He complimented

"Thank you, Mr. Gonzalez," I said with a small grin

As he took a sip, I poured myself one and drank it all in one go.

"Quite the heavy drinker I'm guessing?" He asked

"I suppose you could say that," I said plainly

After he drank everything, he left saying he had had work to do. I said my farewells and closed the door. As soon as he left, I heard someone come in, I looked over to see who it was and smiled the biggest smile. My butler had brought my dog in.

"Good Morning Miss, I'm sorry I had to bring Harlow in, he was whining all morning and did not want to settle down," He explained

"It's okay, I honestly wish he came every day," I said happily as Harlow came over and started to lick my face.

Harlow was a big Tibetan Mastiff, who looked like a black lion. His eyes were as green as the forests and his fur was like a big blanket.

"Oh, hey there baby! Did you miss me?" I asked playfully and he jumped up and hugged me

I never had time to spend with Harlow so he would often visit me during my work hours and just sit with me in my office. Harlow was a professionally trained service dog who helped me during my missions while working as a secret agent.

"Well, Miss, I will be leaving now," My butler told me

"Yes, thank you, Beau, for bringing him," I told my butler

"No problem Miss," He said with a smile as he left

After he left I sat down with Harlow and Isabella came in,

"Miss, you have anoth-" She said while walking and stopped talking once she saw Harlow.

"Yes, he decided to visit today." I told her "Yes, I see," She said as she walked over towards him and began to pet him.

Isabella loved when Harlow visited, although she may not show it she enjoyed it when he visited. I got up from my sitting position and went over to my office to read some files about another company that wanted a partnership. So far, our biggest alliance that we made was with a company called GKTM. They were a mining company and another company called GSBS, they made new inventions and earned over 80,000 USD in a minute. Their stocks always rose and never fell most of the time.

This small company took a very big shot, asking for our partnership even when they were small and very unsuccessful. Although this happened quite often it always got on my nerves because these companies are often from lazy managers and unorganized entrepreneurs.

A knock from the door interrupted me from doing my work, "Miss Jonsson, are you in there?" He asked

"Yes, come in" I answered loudly

A young man with brown hair came in wearing an argyle patterned sweater under a suit, "Hello, good afternoon Miss Jonsson, how are you?" He asked me politely

"I'm doing fine, Mr. Anderson" I replied with a grin, "and I'm guessing this is your last paycheck?" I added

"Yes, thank you so much for your help, without it I would've become an unsuccessful entrepreneur," He exclaimed

"No problem, It's really because of your hard work," I assured

"Thank you, by the way, I was going to throw a big celebration to celebrate the grand opening and I'd like to invite you as a special guest," he invited

"When will it be?" I asked

"It will be held today from now," He informed

"Well, it's Saturday so I will probably get home earlier, yes, yes, I will," I told him

He lit up with my answer," Great!" He exclaimed as he handed me a fancy envelope. "Here's an invitation," he said as he handed me a black envelope with lacey patterns on it.

"I'll see you there" He exclaimed as exited
